Holiday rentals with a patio in British Virgin Islands

This is the perfect location for a very peaceful and restful stay on Tortola. The host was really good at communicating both before and throughout our stay. One minor issue with the bathroom basin plug was resolved straight away. The garden area, pool and small beach were all delightful, though loungers could do with an upgrade (a very minor matter). Fall asleep and wake to the sound of the sea and if you’re really lucky watch a pelican fishing right in front of you. We saw it most mornings and late afternoons during our stay. Probably best to have a hire car available though taxis easy to organise. We also used the local bus service, which was ‘an experience’, one I’m glad we had. Would we go back? It’s a very long way from Europe! But we both really enjoyed our stay and, though not as young as we used to be, would love to come again. We had some important communications to make during our stay and excellent WiFi enabled us to do it. Thanks Justin and all the staff.

This space was perfect for us. Lovely view, close to walkable restaurants, close to west end ferry and lots around there to see. Val was amazing!! He helped us in every way possible and we would definitely go call here. We divided our stay and went to the east end for 4 days but wished we would have stayed at this place the whole trip. There are upstairs guests but we could not hear a thing. Beautiful area!!

Great spot. walking distance to bars and restaurants at cane garden. Great communication from the host. Neighbour was also very nice and helped us with some car troubles. Highly recommend!

Sophie’s Place is a slice of absolute paradise! We stayed for two weeks with a 4 day jaunt to JvD for a weeding. It’s located on a quiet and almost private bay called Long Bay. It was a quick 20 min ride to the main grocery with a smaller grocer, with a load of options in Sopers Hole, just a few minutes away. If you’re a gym buff I do rec getting the Long Bay gym pass for an unlimited month. Definitely worth it. The spa was lovely also. The best part, both are just a few steps from your door. We cooked quite a bit and had everything we needed for delicious healthy meals. I do rec brining an eye mask as the sun rises early and the bedroom becomes bright quickly, if you’d like to sleep past 6:30. Using the beach equipment across the street was an added bonus - they have surf boards and SUP, beach loungers and umbrella/shades. I would get a rental car if able. Take the ferries to surrounding islands for day trips! Anegada is a must! Virgin Gorda for the Baths. JvD for Bubbly Pool & Foxys

We had an amazing stay at Charlotte’s. The pool was so nice to have to escape the heat but still enjoy the outside and the beautiful views. Penney met us at check-in and was extremely friendly and welcoming. She showed us around the apartment and deck/patio areas. She had a lot of fresh fruit, water, and even a bottle of wine for us. The restaurants at the nearby beach were really good with good drinks and drink specials. We loved staying at Charlotte’s and will definitely book again next time we visit Tortola before our sailing charter. Thank you!

My husband and I just got back from Donald’s place and we could not have loved it more. It was the perfect location, felt right at home, and had the best vacation. We rented a car for the first few days to explore the island, get ferries to Jost and Virgin Gorda, and enjoyed a gorgeous sunset dinner at Bananakeet, one of Donald’s recommendations. Donald’s home has everything you could possibly need, with the most comfortable bed and the perfect balcony for sitting out to enjoy the view. We highly recommend it and can’t wait to come back! Mario and his wife were really what a Superhost always should be. Firstly, even that my ferry had a one hour delay they picked me up. Every morning Mario would have a chat with me with an italian espresso. They even took me to dinner on another island. The room was stunning (and yes there was warm water) and the view incredible. The road is a big bumpy, but I had a scooter which worked brilliantly. I would ALWAYS stay again with Mario and would HIGHLY recommend booking this AirBnB. That you very much for this wonderfuel, lovely, and local experience!!

We stayed at Lin and Barney's home for a 10-day birthday trip for my Mom with a party of five, and it was everything we dreamed about! The location is beautiful. The home is high enough to enjoy the view of Brewers Bay and Jost Van Dyke but still close enough to walk to the beach (if you don't mind the hike back!). Everything that you need is provided, including hairdryers, cooking utensils, and even the ingredients to make the home's signature drink, the Sundowner! There were plenty of linens and towels, and it was fantastic that snorkel gear and other fun beach items were also available, which we didn't have to bring ourselves. One of our favorite parts of the home was the history provided in the information book. It's clear that there was a lot of love poured into this special place. Tip: If you are sensitive to noise, bring earplugs! It rained a lot during the evening hours, and like most homes in Tortola, the metal roof was a bit loud. 10/10, we look forward to visiting again!

We had an incredible stay at John and Rose’s Airbnb! They were the most accommodating hosts we’ve ever had. From arranging taxis whenever we needed them to offering fantastic advice on places to visit and things to do, they went above and beyond to make our trip seamless and enjoyable. John even delivered bottled water to the house so we wouldn’t have to carry it ourselves – such a thoughtful touch! The house itself was absolutely amazing, with spectacular views that took our breath away. The pool was the perfect place to relax and watch the sunset – truly unforgettable. John and Rose struck the perfect balance: always available when we needed help or recommendations, but never intrusive. Their hospitality made our trip extra special. Highly, highly recommend staying here!

This was the perfect, coziest little cottage to stay in while on JVD! We stayed here for 2 nights and wish we could’ve stayed more, we didn’t want to leave! It was conveniently located to town with our rental car, and Kirschan and his team are SO responsive and helpful. Would absolutely recommend to anyone traveling to JVD!

Our stay at Stargazer with a small group for a wedding was so wonderful and relaxing. The house and location are stunning and having the car and Whaler at our disposable was such a luxury. Maline, Andy, Rebecca, and Sandra were all extremely responsive and helpful whenever we had questions or needed help. I’ll be thinking about that view for a long time!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and wished we could have stayed longer. Wonderful villa, beautiful view, and everything we needed for the stay. We felt very at home in the villa. Karina is a very responsive host and gave us all the information we needed. Great location, very close to the airport, less than 10 minutes. Definitely recommend! No fault Karina, but we did need our earplugs to sleep. A local rooster and dog didn't know what time it was. For those that aren't aware, roosters and some dogs are free range on the island, so I would be prepared with some earplugs for sleeping.

Our family had a wonderful stay. We had great, responsive and friendly hosts and the place is as what was described. Our only main concern is the road going up to the house. If the road will be improved i.e. paved or cemented, everything would be perfect. Thank you again, Chantal and Lincoln! Until next time!

This is a 5 star listing! We were already traveling on another island and the airbnb host canceled on us two days before arrival so we were needing help. Host was very responsive and we were set up quickly. There is a full kitchen, beds are comfortable, great washer/dryer and A/C works very well. It was very clean. There is plenty of space to park inside a large drive through gate. Balcony has a wonderful view of the marina. Great location about 15 mins east of Road Town and 10 mins from one of the most highly rated beaches - Long Bay. Host greeted us with a few treats, and asked us if we had any special requests. During our stay, there was an extra third bedroom that we added on for an agreed upon fee, that had its own bathroom. Thank you for a fabulous time in Tortola! Jennifer

From beginning to end Shan was responsive and helpful. I text him when we left the airport and we were met by a gentleman who opened up the condo. The place was immaculate. Bathrooms very clean. A/C wall units were on and it was nice and cool when we got in. There is a cute porch with a table and 4 chairs outside. Not a great view of the water but peaceful surroundings. Would have loved a couple of lounge chairs but it didn’t really matter…we just brought out two more chairs and had bfast outside. We swam in the pool which was nice and clean also. Very happy with the accommodations and if we find ourselves in Tortola again I wouldn’t hesitate to reach out again.

Shan's place is great very clean and well equipped with what you need. We had a hiccup with water but that is expected in some islands and Shan made sure we were ok. I would definitely stay with Shan again.

Great stay - the condo was exactly as advertised, clean and tidy and a great location close to town. Gilda was a fantastic host too!
