Kingfisher's Retreat

LauraRating, 5 stars4 days ago
We had an incredibly peaceful and relaxing stay at Kingfisher Retreat on Mill Farm. The safari-style tent was beautifully designed and tucked away in a secluded spot, offering complete privacy away from the main campsite. It was immaculately clean when we arrived and fully equipped for a comfortable stay - though a toaster would have been a nice little addition. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was fantastic, with underfloor heating that made it warm and cozy morning and night. Although we spent most days exploring the Norfolk area, we could have easily spent all our time at the retreat, soaking up the sun and enjoying the tranquility. Communication before our visit was smooth, and we received a warm welcome from Lillie. The fresh bread, milk, and eggs were thoughtful touches that made us feel right at home. Overall, it was a truly peaceful and private escape - perfect for switching off and reconnecting with nature. We would absolutely recommend it to anyone!

The Plover, Retreat at Ten Acres near Holt

AleashaRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We stayed for five nights at Peta's place with our two year old. The house is so beautiful and the surroundings so calm and peaceful. Peta recommended a few walks out of the door for little legs but you do need to go a little further afield for longer walks which we didn't mind at all. Everything was spotless on arrival and we had a lovely cake a local apple juice waiting for us on arrival. Peta was always responsive and gave us great ideas on things to do. The bed is SO comfy and we all slept very well during our stay. We weren't blessed with the best weather but when we could, sitting in the two gardens was perfect. We would highly recommend a stay here!

The Railwaymans Rest - unique 1880s railway home

EddRating, 5 stars3 days ago
The house was lovely and tastefully decorated with railway memorabilia. Kitchen and bathroom were both well equipped, living areas and beds comfortable. Ideally located for trips to all major beaches in the area and a pleasant environment to relax in at the end of a busy day.

Lovely old pub 5 receptions Gym Firepit big garden

JasonRating, 5 stars2 days ago
We stayed at this lovely home in Hindolveston as an extended family of 13 for two nights. From the moment we booked, the hosts Mark and Jo were so kind and friendly and great with any questions or queries we had. The house was the perfect place for us to come together - spacious, warm, and incredibly comfortable. It was beautifully equipped with everything we could possibly need, which made it feel like a real home-from-home. The large garden was a particular highlight. Our children and nephew spent hours outside playing with the garden games so thoughtfully provided by the hosts. The whole stay felt easy and welcoming, and we’re so grateful to have found such a peaceful and comforting space to be together as a family. We would absolutely love to return in the future. Thank you again for such a memorable stay.

Barn North Norfolk Close to Holt & Blakeney

CharlotteRating, 5 stars1 month ago
We loved our stay at the Drewery Farm studio - it was the perfect location to explore north Norfolk from as well as being set in a quiet hamlet overlooking fields. The directions were really easy to follow (even in the dark - we arrived at 10pm ish) and the cottage had everything we needed for our long weekend stay. It was super comfortable, clean and the little extras were really appreciated. We particularly enjoyed the Sheringham Park Run, a long walk on Holkham beach, fish and chips in Wells-next-the-sea, The Gunton Arms and surrounding deer park, a little mooch in Cromer and visiting the Sunday market in Holt! We also made it up the road to The Kings Head - really loved the food there and so handy to be able to walk to a lovely pub! Would really recommend as a great place to stay for anyone visiting the area. Our only learning was that both bedrooms are a little short for my partner Matt to stand up in (he's 6'5) but easy enough for the weekend.

A charming converted Wood Shed in unique setting

Superb cottage. Compact but everything we needed. Spotlessly clean. Private, ample parking. Peaceful and so very relaxing. Close to the places we love to visit in North Norfolk and no traffic jams. Probably the best we have stayed in.

Stone Cottage, Secret Garden Separate Entrance

SamRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Fantastic friendly and accommodating hosts. Felt very welcome at all times. Stay was as described, cosy hideaway with a beautiful garden on the doorstep. Added bonus to receive a real quality breakfast spread, particularly the homemade bircher museli, delicious!! Finally, some great recommendations on the local area to eat and drink of which we indulged in two! The kings head at Letheringset and the wiveton bell at wiveton. Would wholeheartedly recommend 👌

The Sidings

The Dome was lovely and clean and welcoming. The little touches that Claire supplied were greatly appreciated. It was a lovely place to come back to after a day out to sit and relax with views over the rolling Norfolk countryside. There were so many places to visit within a half hours drive.
