This architect designed retreat is a perfect for couples or young families. Surrounded by pine trees you will stay in a secluded side annex to our main family house. The area is surrounded by walking paths and quiet country lanes. It is a newly renovated open-plan space with en-suite shower room and private balcony, tree-top views and direct access to a yoga deck. By arrangement guests may have exclusive use of the heated pool and infra-red sauna which is situated at the rear of the main house.

Brambles Pool Terrace Spa

Located on the edge of the South Downs National Park near Brighton, Brambles Pool Terrace Spa is a private terrace on a south facing slope, with a series of log cabins and a gazebo with BBQ and Pizza Oven. The Spa cabin has a Finnish style hot tub and sauna, double bedroom with ensuite bathroom. There is a fully equipped kitchen, a separate poolside toilet and shower. Brambles is ideal for access to Brighton, Glyndebourne, Brighton Marina, Seven Sisters and a fabulous place for remote working.

The Shepherds Hut at The Apple Barn

Enjoy a wonderful stay in our gorgeous, original shepherds hut. Situated in a private, and enclosed field with an outdoor shower and compost loo with a barbeque and dining area. About 100 m from our house. Surrounded by hammocks with access to our large swimming pool, a field with our friendly pig, Emily and our lovely old goat Evangeline. The Shepherds Hut has a double bed, a stove and electricity. With views up to Chanctonbury Hill and easy access to walks and cycling on the South Downs.

Separate from the main property, the space comes with an en-suite bathroom (with bath), a small kitchenette, TV/Lounge area, double bed, and views overlooking the gardens. The main property is our family home with a second B&B space inside, so there is always a host available on site. There may be other guests staying in the main property.

Views and easy access to Cissbury Ring, the second largest Neolithic flint and iron age hill fort in the UK, Chanctonbury Ring, a prehistoric hill fort, and the Downs gallops of Gifford’s Racing Stables.
