Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Brighton and Hove

I had a wonderful weekend, staying at Abi's super-comfortable, beautifully furnished and very well equipped house. It really did feel like home from home. Parking nearby was really easy (thank you for the permit!), and it's a short walk into town - time of public transport on the doorstep, if required. I highly recommend the Flour Pot Bakery, just down the road, fot fantastic pastries and bread. Communication with Abi was great throughout, she could not have been more welcoming and helpful. This was one of my best ever stays, and I wholeheartedly recommend Abi's house as a base fur exploring Brighton and East Sussex. Thank you, Abi!

fantastic stay with Bethany, we rented the place for some of our team that travelled overseas. checked the place out, and popped in on the guys, was a beautiful town house just at the start of the Hanover area, lovely bare brick walls, beautiful stairs, very well maintained and cleaned. in terms of a host, responded really well, very helpful and nice to talk to. five starts from us!

Gavin and his family instantly made us feel welcome and comfortable in his gorgeous family home. We rented their home for one night so we could celebrate our grandads 80th birthday in Brighton and it was the perfect spot to come home too after seeing family. Gorgeous spacious home, really love garden space. Gavin was amazing with communication and we were even allowed to bring our dogs which was super helpful! Thank you for a great stay!

It was a lovely and very clean house on a quiet street. It's not far from the center and the sea, on the top of a hill. Hilary was extremely helpful, above and beyond. She acted on a short notice and sent us detailed instructions and recommendations on parking options. I definitely recommend this place.

What a great find! We were a family group of 9 including 2 young children, the house was definitely big enough to accommodate us all with spacious rooms, a stunning kitchen area, comfortable beds and spotlessly clean bathrooms/en suite. The kids enjoyed all the games on offer, especially the ping pong table. Tony was a real hit too. Susie is a great host, offering great local advice/recommendations and was so kind to allow us an early check-in. We had 3 cars with our party but only permits for 2 cars however Susie's lovely neighbour happened to be around when we were deciding what to do with the 3rd car and offered us some of her additional permits for a small amount of money, this allowed us to all be parked outside the property with no concern about moving the cars, it really was a bonus. I would recommend this lovely house to any large group, close to beach and shops and Brighton town centre.

We had a great stay at Kate's place for the marathon weekend. Kate's communication was excellent throughout and the fact she went out of her way to sort the parking permits for us beforehand was much appreciated. The house is exactly as described and had everything we needed, it is walking distance from all the local amenities (and the marathon route which was perfect!) and also a stones throw from regular public transport to enable you to travel further afield without having to get in the car. I really can't recommend Kate, as a host, and her house enough - I would definitely look to book with her again if we were to return to Hove! Thank you Kate and family for sharing your home and for enabling us to have a great stay!

We had a wonderful stay, and the house and area were perfect for our family holiday. Laura was really flexible and always replied to my questions and queries within minutes, and suggested lots of ideas to fit my family's needs. Spencer was there to meet us and show us around, which was really helpful, and we immediately felt at home as the home is so welcoming and relaxed feeling. As we had no car, the location was perfect - the train station is at the end of the road, and the bus in and out of Brighton is less than 5 minutes walk away and very regular. We loved everything about the house, and Laura and Spencer were great hosts. Thanks so much, we've had a really great time.

We had a really relaxing and comfortable stay at Annemarie’s place. The rooms were all perfectly clean and very homely. She made us feel so welcome with the thoughtful supplies provided. Overall a lovely stay and would definitely recommend to anyone looking to unwind in peace and quiet.

Great location, walkable distance to the station, to town, to amenities etc. We had everything we needed. The beds were comfortable, the house was very clean. The place is exactly like on the pictures. The shower room is on the small size but the shower jet is strong enough to make up for it. We were only there for 3 days, we didn't cook and didn't need parking so I can't comment on that. I would happily book the same house again.

Such an amazing flat, beautifully decorated. Jasper left such clear instructions for everything. Loved the area of St Leonards. Would recommend to everyone!

My daughter and I had a lovely stay at The Old Cooks House. It was cosy, clean and comfortable. The beds were great and we both slept well on all nights. Jackie had left a plethora of goodies for us for breakfast and snacking and she was really helpful in guiding us to places to eat out. It was a lovely break.

Marsha is the fastest-responding host I've ever come across - ok I haven't used Airbnb that much but I've communicated with a lot of hotels etc. and she responded to everything in like a couple of minutes, amazing. The house is perfectly located near the train station and peaceful yet close to all he action. There is a cute family of foxes living in a neighbour's garden that you can see from one of the bedroom windows. My wife felt that one of the bedsheets was a little stained and she switched it for another one she found in a wardrobe, but that small point wouldn't stop me choosing this place again the next time we visit St Leonards for sure. Strongly recommend. Oh and fantastic filter coffee, which we drank while sat on Marsha's cool arty stools near the kitchen window. There is a lot to be inspired by in this place. Marsha let us leave our bags and pick them up later - sorry for taking the keys with me that morning and locking the cleaner out. Hope we'll be allowed back!

The carriage was lovely and situated in a perfect spot , 5/10 min to nice pubs , beach and funfair . The kids loved the alpacas in the field next to us . Only one issue , not enough cooking/bbq pots pans and utensils for 4 adults and 3 small kids but overall we had a great time and would love to stay again .

Worth every penny! We stayed here for 5 weeks while I did my cabin crew training at the CAE. Beautiful property just like the photos, squeaky clean, private and everything we needed to make it home!! Sarah is super responsive and helpful in every way. Clean linen and towels every week as promised, bed linen was so soft!! Brighton is a 20 minute drive & great for the weekends.. Sarah gave us lots of great recommendations, which we loved! Thank you so much again Sarah, you are a beautiful person inside and out!! Xx

perfect stay to explore Brighton - Hannah is an excellent host and has an wonderful flat location very easy to access from station and walking to all parts of Brighton. flat exactly as described

Me and my wife had a lovely time here. Just the right get away we needed. The Wood fired hot tub was a dream, Spent the entire evening in the hot tub. It really is a lively place to stay.

This is a beautiful gem of a place and extremely good value. The garden house is cosy and yet supremely functional. It has been well thought out. The kitchen is excellent with a gas stove, two ovens and an air fryer. There is an electric shower and large screen TV. The beds are very comfortable and up in the roof creating a very snug place for rest. I loved the place and will be back.

Little Hawthorn is absolutely stunning. Such attention to detail, Gary and Shona forgot nothing, everything you needed and more was there. Immaculate throughout and extremely comfortable. We loved it! A very generous welcome basket on arrival at Little Hawthorn, just what you need after a long journey. A lovely touch and very much appreciated. I cannot praise Gary and Shona enough as hosts, chuffed to have found their beautiful little property. I will definitely return. Thanks again, Lou and James x

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the cabin over the Easter weekend. Groombridge is a lovely, tucked away area and the cabin feels very remote and peaceful. Christopher made us feel very at home and I cannot recommend the pizza more! Perfect dough recipe. Comfortable sleeping and spacious for 7. Highly recommend ⭐️

Really lovely cabin and location, perfect stay for us and two dogs with the enclosed garden really convenient for this. Very clear instructions on how to find and so peaceful and a great short walk into the forest. Would love to return again soon.

Really enjoyed my stay here. The space is really well laid out and thoughtfully put together — it felt very comfortable and easy to settle into. The bed was genuinely one of the comfiest I’ve ever slept in, which made a big difference. Check-in was smooth and easy to coordinate, and everything was exactly as described. The bathroom was spotless, and the kitchen was well stocked with everything you’d need in terms of cutlery and utensils. Joe was a great host, friendly, responsive, and made the whole experience really straightforward. Would definitely recommend staying here!

This is one of the most beautiful places we’ve ever stayed. Rowan has designed everything so exquisitely and the cabin is surrounded by the most enchanting woods

Anna and Shaun were welcoming and helpful. The cabin was perfectly located in the midst of the South Downs allowing us to walk straight out of the cabin and into the beautiful countryside. A great location to explore the Whitterings and further afield. Cosy, warm and perfectly catered for a couple with great kitchen utensils to cook basic meals and breakfast. The cabin even has a cosy outside area which we thoroughly enjoyed sitting in on a summers evening with the view of the South Downs.
