This house blew us away and we’ve stayed a lot of spaces. Honestly, it’s one of those rare places that’s actually better than the photos. Every room was so clean, and beautifully designed but still felt incredibly welcoming and comfortable. Our group of eight had tons of space to spread out and unwind. We only stayed three nights but instantly wished we’d booked the whole week. It’s the perfect distance for all the day trips we wanted to take. We explored Halifax, Peggy’s Cove and even Lunenburg and Wolfville (loved this place, it’s so cute!). I mean then there’s the games room, lake, pool and water toys. If you're on the fence—don’t be. I would highly recommend to anyone to book this house and book longer than you think. We’ll absolutely be back, and next time we’re staying for the week!

This home was beautiful! It was perfect for our team away day. The location was perfect, the home was cozy and Danielle was always available to answer our questions.

Fantastic hosts. Dream heritage property with total privacy and a heated pool in a park like setting; we booked that property pretty much every year for the last seven years. Rob and Barb are constantly improving the property, there is always something new to discover, whether it's a new appliance, or a brand new landscaped river frontage inviting you to sit and watch river and ocean life whilst sipping a glass of tasty red provided with the welcome basket. We enjoyed eating out at the Lunenburg restaurants, as much as we enjoyed cooking a delicious meal at their place, which is fully equipped, one can easily cook up a gourmet meal. Golden! WOW!! Firstly. I was a little reluctant to book as there was no reviews when I made the booking. This turned out to be a blessing. The place is absolutely freshly renovated. And completely spotless. Secondly, I am an Airbnb landlord myself, so consider myself a tough critic. OK, I can’t find a single negative thing to say. It exceeds the pictures in every way, house is incredibly luxurious, clearly designed and built by professionals, and most importantly, is decorated and equipped through the lens of people who understand hospitality. Lunenburg Harbour is across the water, like a postcard. Gorgeous swimming pool, two working fireplaces. Gym, beautiful kitchen with high-end brand new appliances. General store at the end of the road looks built for a movie. If I had the money, I’d buy it from them and never move out. Had a brief question for the owner, her response was immediate and detailed. 10 out of 10. Will absolutely come back.

It was a place like more than a home. Feeling of residing in a resort. We liked very much. In future when ever we plan to visit this side we will see that we come and relax in the place

Another Great Stay at The Land Yacht! This was our second time staying at The Land Yacht, and it was just as wonderful as we remembered. They have everything you need for a relaxing and comfortable getaway. The indoor pool was amazing, and the views of the ocean are absolutely breathtaking. One of our favorite moments was reading a book in the solarium while listening to the rain—pure bliss. The peaceful atmosphere, thoughtful amenities, and beautiful setting make this a truly special place. We can’t wait to return again!

We almost don’t want to share this hidden gem—it’s the kind of place you’ll want to rebook as soon as you get home. Thoughtfully designed with high-end finishes and stunning views, everything about our stay was exceptional. The wood-fired sauna, fireplace, and comfy beds made it incredibly relaxing. It’s close to the resort yet feels like a private retreat, spacious enough for our family of five while still warm and cozy. With a fully equipped kitchen, BBQ, and tons for the kids to enjoy—like the bunk room, bean bag chairs, and proximity to nature—we hardly wanted to leave. White Point Beach is just a short bike ride away, with Carters and Summerville only 10–15 minutes by car. Already dreaming of our next visit!

Our stay at Lynn’s was excellent! The home and surroundings are beautiful—definitely peaceful, very quiet. We cooked in a bit since restaurants are a drive and everything needed was onsite. Lynn was an extremely responsive host and shared helpful info about the greater area, too. We enjoyed our stay and recommend the home!

We stayed at Mark's Place for two weeks of remote work and vacation and it was great! The location is just secluded enough to feel like you've gotten away but it's also an easy and pretty drive to Lunenburg for shopping and dining. We enjoyed watching the tides change from the living room couch and from the hot tub. Also, Mark's Place is fully stocked. It had every upscale item imaginable in the kitchen and each bathroom had its own set of towels, hairdryer, etc. It was also easy to communicate with Mark and his cleaning team and - for those who care - the WiFi was able to handle multiple laptops, phones and other devices without fail. As an added bonus, during our stay, we saw many different birds in the water and on the lawn, a deer family and a porcupine family.

The house was amazing. Very remote and quiet. But only 30 minutes to busier locations with shopping, restaurants, etc. Within 10 minutes, RoseBay Bistro & Market and Dear Emma Pizza (incredible!) provide all you need otherwise. The beach is incredible. Sitting in the chairs at the edge of the beach, over the dunes, is the perfect spot for morning coffee or a happy hour cocktail! The house design is like a piece of art - the many levels and nooks make it a very unique experience. It is well furnished with all sorts of things you might want to enjoy your stay. Very thoughtful. We look forward to a return visit.

Michael and Rachel were excellent hosts, and proactively sent the instructions on their house the morning before our arrival. The house actually feels bigger than the pictures imply and was the perfect location for a young family of 4. The beach is right across the road with accessibility from a few points, including a staircase. The house gets wonderful sun light and breezes, with stunning sunrises and sets. It’s also an easy 15-20 minute drive to Lunenburg. Everything was very clean and organized, and the house has everything needed to cook, relax, and even entertain for rainy days. Would definitely come back and recommend to couples and small families. Thanks again Michael & Rachel.

Beautiful lake front property and the sun room/living room is amazing...especially in the morning. You could sit and watch the ducks play and swim all day. Small outdoor deck off the sunroom is perfect for quiet morning sunrises also. Was easy to find as it's just off the main road and only a 15-20 min drive to groceries, take out/dine in, or that morning Tim's coffee. Main Queen size bed was comfortable and linens were clean. We had an amazing time and would recommend this place as a nice lakefront escape but not buried away in the woods. 5 star all the way and we would book here again.

As soon as we stepped inside, the beautiful surroundings and view of the lake made us feel instantly relaxed. The peaceful location and well appointed cottage was just what we needed for a restful vacation. The use of kayaks was amazing and swimming was lovely. Our daughter brought her stand up paddle board and enjoyed time on the water. Beds were comfy and complimentary morning coffee got the day started well! Time went too fast, so we’ll book a longer stay next summer!

If you are looking for a peaceful seaside retreat this is it!! Alecia’s place is well away from the main road and incredibly peaceful. The property is very well equipped - especially the kitchen!! We cooked pretty much all of our meals here and she thought of everything!! Thermostats in every room. Plenty of windows to have open or closed as the weather allowed. Comfy furniture. Beautiful beach to walk on and many more close by. Quiet nights. Friendly wildlife (shore birds, deer, rabbits). Alecia is a friendly and responsive host. We had a few questions and she was always quick to answer. Very helpful!! Highly recommend!

My favorite airbnb ever! So clean and comfortable and well-stocked, also really beautifully decorated. Private but also a convenient location. I loved greeting the animals at the farm next door every morning and hanging out on the beach or in the garden. Angie & Scott were super helpful and welcoming. I hope I can stay again!

The place was very organized and welcoming. It had everything we could need, it was in a very clean condition, and very well equipped. There was a guide with things to do and places for food. One thing to keep in mind is that there is an open roof so id recommend bringing eye masks. It was fun watching the wild life out the window.

Charming home that is very clean and well cared for with nice design touches. Well stocked kitchen. Appreciated the chance to do laundry. Cozy spaces that are suitable for small groups. Outdoor space was not as inviting as anticipated.

The Pearl was a beautiful place to stay! From the furnishings and artwork, to the amenities (like a hot tub and sauna) and private surroundings, it had everything you would hope to find in a vacation getaway. Liz put extra care and thought into this home, and it shows. Fresh bread and eggs for breakfast, scented candles for a cozy ambiance, wood for an indoor fire or a heat pump for added warmth, and soap, shampoo, lotion, etc that is free of many allergens and chemicals) just to name a few. I honestly could have left half of what I packed at home as this place has it all! My only regret is I wish I had more time to spend there. Don't delay in booking this space.

Rocky Mountain Lakehouse was an amazing mini get away with stunning surroundings. The property had everything one would ever need for fun activities and relaxation. The owners have thought of every detail. We loved our stay even though the weather didnt co-operate 100%. It was exactly what we needed and hope to return in the future. ❤️

You will not be disappointed with this gorgeous well appointed home. We had 12 family members with us and we had plenty of space for everyone ! We were very comfortable in every room. The beds are wonderful with lovely bedding. The views from this home are extra special. Particularly the partially covered upper deck. We watched osprey and eagles flying over water from the comfortable outdoor furniture We enjoyed the wood burning fireplace in the evenings.
