Comfy detached rural cottage Devon -hot tub, views

JonRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Lovely cottage, had everything we needed for a great week. Well appointed kitchen and bathrooms. All the crockery, utensils and pans you need for cooking. Hot tub was certainly a favourite and well used! Nice to have plastic ‘glasses’ for use outside. Great selection of games was a nice surprise. Being able to walk the dog right from the doorstep made it so easy - we really enjoyed exploring the smallholding. Hosts were very quick to respond with answers and support. Yes, the Tesco delivery man did manage to find us and unload :-)

A luxury cottage at Glen Silva Farm

AbigailRating, 5 stars4 weeks ago
Had a wonderful stay at Silva Cottage. The cottage was beautiful and had everything a person could need and very clean. The location was amazing set in woods and so so quiet apart from the birds which were a delight to see and hear especially watching the comings and going’s of Woodpeckers on the bird feeder. The hot tub was spectacular.Set in the woods nothing could compare to sitting back and enjoying the tub with a glass of fizz. We had a great recommendation from Lorraine for an Indian Takeaway which delivered to the cottage and ate a great lunch at The Tamar Inn at Calstock. Great location for walkers with Dartmoor on one side and Bodmin Moor on the other plus the coastal path. Would highly recommend this property and would love to return.

The Net Loft, Croyde

KevinRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Just back home after 5 very relaxing nights at The Net Loft. A beautiful, secluded hideaway with everything anyone could want/need for a few days away. The accommodation is extremely well equipped with the best appliances. The bed is so comfortable! With the bifold doors open sitting in the lounge area was so relaxing. It is a quick walk into the centre of Croyde where there are plenty of bars and restaurants to appeal to all tastes and budgets. Would definitely recommend The Net Loft. We will definitely be back. Thank you AnneMarie.

Littlecott Retreat

HollyRating, 5 stars3 days ago
The place was really nice and absolutely spotless when we got there. Nigel and Perry were both very nice and helpful and responded very quickly to messages. The only things is one of the windows didn’t have a blind which made it very bright in the mornings and struggled to sleep in. Also the sat nav brought us in a different direction from the directions on the listing which was a little confusing but Nigel was stood outside waiting for us when we arrived so wasn’t really a problem. Just something to mention. Overall it was a really nice stay and would recommend.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Fantastic Stay in Perranporth! Loved our stay here — spotless, stylish, and super comfy. The location was perfect: peaceful, yet close to the beach and town. The hot tub was a real highlight, especially after long coastal walks. Great hosts — we’ll definitely be back!

Rural annex, private gardens, stunning views

PeterRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Just spent a week at this lovely place. Beautiful view when relaxing in the garden and so peaceful. Accommodation was spotlessly clean, we didn't want to leave . Unfortunately we didn't get to meet the hosts as they were away on holiday. Communication through this site was clear and friendly. I would definitely recommend this place.

The Granary

IanRating, 5 stars6 days ago
Katie and her family were very friendly and welcoming. The Granary was available to us well before the check in time and Katie advised us on best directions to find the farm. The accommodation was very clean, well equipped and felt like home from home. A lovely touch was the fresh Devon time and milk. The shower is very powerful but there is no curtain/screen to enjoy it to the max. Although towels are provided, take a big bath towel if you like to wrap up. The Granary is located on the courtyard of a working farm but is extremely quiet. The patio, down a couple of steep steps, is set in a little garden overlooking the Tamar Valley. It was fabulous to sit in, after a days walking to enjoy the peace and watching the huge variety of birds visiting the bird feeders. A great place to stay for visiting the Tamar valley and surrounding area. We would definitely recommend it to anyone and will return again when we are next down in Devon.

A charming, colourful, country cottage.

Ros & GawainRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We spent three very comfortable and enjoyable days at this renovated stone house that sits in the heart of Stratton, right next to the beautiful historic church. The house has a lot of character, feels very homely and has all the facilities you need for a visit. Jess and Andrew were very helpful and quick to respond. It's a great location to get to Bude, a short drive or a 30 minute walk that takes you along lanes into the heart of the town. We'd definitely stay at this place again.

Sandpipers Cottage - garden, rural, coast 8 miles.

DeborahRating, 5 stars1 month ago
We had a lovely few days at the Sandpiper’s cottage. Beautifully clean and comfortable and in peaceful and beautiful surroundings. Francois was a lovely, friendly host, leaving milk and eggs for us and welcoming our little dog as well. The field nearby was a haven for nature and the whole place was relaxing and had everything we needed for our break in Cornwall.

17th Century Farm Cottage Getaway

HannahRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
My partner and I spent 4 nights at Ash Cottage. We had an amazing holiday! Before our arrival we had great communication from Serina, and once we arrived she could not have been more welcoming. We went round with her one morning to meet all the animals and got to feed them too! The cottage was sparkling clean and had everything we needed. We also hired a hot tub which was definitely worth it! The farm was very peaceful, but also close to the local town and beaches in Bude- the best of both worlds! I would highly recommend a stay here and we would love to visit again!

Bolthole - “a place that you can go to when you want to get away from your usual life and escape from other people” This is exactly what you get. With a cosy atmosphere and stunning view in the heart of one of the most beautiful parts of the country. Plenty to do and ideal for doing nothing. Loved it.

Penhalt 12 Cottage,Penstowe Kilkhampton,Bude

IanRating, 5 stars3 months ago
We had a great stay visiting friends in Kilkhampton. Everything about the property was as described. The kitchen was modern and well equipped. The TV is large and sofas comfy. The beds were comfortable. I slept in the room with two single beds and had to put them together as they were quite narrow and more suitable for children. The shower is very good- hot and powerful. Parking is easy and convenient. My mother could not access the shower which is within the bath, so worth considering accessibility if this is a factor for future guests reading this- my bad to be honest. Electricity uses a pay-as-you-go meter. Top-up cards are available from the nearby holiday complex office (3 minute walk from the property). However it is only open for 3 hours a day in the afternoon and not Sundays. We stayed during a very cold week in March and spent £55 on electricity for the week as we had to use the elec heaters a fair amount which was quite alarming! No doubt it would be alot cheaper in summer

Charming cottage with garden near Bude & beaches

IanRating, 5 stars2 months ago
What a beautiful cottage in a peaceful location. It could have been difficult to find, but Jamie's clear photo instructions took us right to the door. Fabulous location, straight onto the canal, and a delightful 3km towpath walk to Bude. Also easy direct access to the coast path. We asked Jamie for recommendations on where to eat and all of his suggestions were spot on. You are spoilt for choice in Bude. Thankyou for the lovely Cornish cream tea on arrival. We will definitely be back and recommend this cottage to our friends and family. Ian and Tina from Bedfordshire.

Beautiful views, very warm indoor swimming pool, games room with soft play, pool, ping pong etc. we were lucky enough to book the cottage with our outdoor space that was enclosed so perfect for our toddler. They had thought of everything! Stair gates, plastic cutlery, changing mat! It was amazing! Would highly recommend here! The farm animal feeding was amazing on Wednesday morning with Ruth! We all loved it! Kilkhampton not too far away either & Bude was beautiful! Would definitely recommend to anyone!

⭐️Cosy 2 bedroom cottage with terrace on cliff edge

LisaRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
If you are hesitating about booking Cliff Cottage in Portloe then please don’t even question it…just book it! By far the loveliest Air B n b we have had the privilege to stay in. Annie and Giovanni are perfect hosts. Charming, warm, always available and welcoming but never intrusive. Together they have created a little piece of heaven. The cottage is gorgeous and perfectly situated. The incomparable views, peace and tranquillity, creative interior design, attention to detail, thoughtful extras and the comfort and cleanliness of the cottage combine to create something truly magical. They have literally thought of everything. We felt instantly at home. My husband spent most of his time staring out of the window enjoying the views and we loved spending time in the garden and enjoying the sound of the waves. Loads to do in the local area. Stunning coastal walks in either direction and the village of Portloe captured our hearts. We truly did not want to leave.
