House holiday rentals in Bretteville-sur-Ay

We had a very nice family stay at Géraldine's place which is ideally located: we went to the beach on foot every day and we took full advantage of the access to the heated pool as well as the bar (yummy the waffles and ice cream), the children's playground and the educational farm at the nearby partner campsite. The sunny weather only enhanced the experience. The deckchairs and garden furniture on the terrace are a real plus! As well as the many toys made available for children. They had a great time, we felt like we were at home. Not to mention the large amount of dishes made available in the accommodation. Friendly and very pleasant stay!

For a stay in Normandy, this is the ideal rental, located between Mont St Michel, St-Malo on one side and the landing beaches, Caen, Deauville, Etretat etc. on the other. Philippe welcomed us upon our arrival with kindness, a small bottle of cider in the fridge as a welcome. He listened to us in relation to what we wanted to visit and sent us good detailed addresses throughout our stay on the different visits and dining places and various things to do in the area. It's 100% satisfaction, we highly recommend it. Thank you again Philippe for all your advice, your welcome and your kindness. See you soon.

What an amazing place the pictures don’t do it justice. There was everything you need and more, it is very well equipped, from kitchen equipment, pool equipment and everyday necessities! We have two young boys and everything you require is already there. Our boys loved it, especially the play area and pool. Lovely hosts, lovely home and very clean and tidy If we are in the area again in the future we would no doubt book this again.

Absolutely wonderful place. The house had everything a family would need and more. Situated 4 minutes from the sea side it is a perfect spot for those who enjoy evening walks on the beach. Heated pool was a luxury and when the weather was a bit cooler we made most of it. Plenty of places to explore all around. Would definitely recommend for families looking for a peaceful break. Great hosts, beautiful place, a home away from home.

We had a great time with the family. Stephan welcomed us very warmly with a great island meal. Very large, and spacious accommodation, it offers a lot of activities, billiards / foosball / barbecue..... The jaccouzi is a big plus. I highly recommend!!:)

We had a good stay in Barneville! The accommodation is completely in line with the description and photos, and is very well located. Everything is well thought out to welcome travelers, the game room and the pool are very appreciable (we enjoyed the pool with young children despite its depth). And above all, we thank Céline for her responsiveness and kindness!!

Céline and Stéphane's house matches the description. Due to the weather, we could not make extensive use of the garden, pool and the available offer, bicycles, boules court, deck chairs. The pool was kindly already heated, you could swim relaxed. We were satisfied with the stay and the interaction with Céline, wishes (heating) were immediately fulfilled.

Even better than the photos. Superb cottage in the grounds of Sandrine's beautiful house. Perfect location for visiting local D Day memorials and Ste Mere Eglise. Would definitely return .

For us, it was the first visit to Normandy and we felt absolutely comfortable from the first moment in Anne's house. Beautifully and elaborately renovated, but also furnished with a lot of taste and feeling. There was nothing missing. The contact with the neighbors was also very warm and nice. The tranquility, the surroundings and the region have done us a lot of good. The contact with Anne was uncomplicated and extremely friendly. Also, for all the information. We can only recommend this contact and will definitely come back.

The house in the dunes is beautifully located and at least as beautifully decorated. Everything is very clean and well cared for and Marion responds quickly and is helpful. You can walk into the dunes on the beach or relax in the pool or on a lounger in the sun. The only thing that was a little different than I thought is that the house is a little close to the public road. Not many people come by, but it is just a little less private. This would not prevent me from recommending this house and coming back again. It is also still very quiet and peaceful. Thank you Marion!

amazing view, beautiful, clean, well received by Marie-Line. She gave tips for visiting sights. 5 minutes' walk from the beach. There are plenty of eateries on the beach where you can eat cheaply (by Belgian standards). Bakery at a small 3 km. Top accommodation, top location and TOP view!!!

Very nice house, quiet. very well-equipped. The building located on the land with many games and activities for children (and adults!) is a real plus. Everything was perfect, availability of the host if needed, I recommend to anyone who wants to be comfortably accommodated to visit the Channel.

It was a great stay in Amandine's beautiful house. Everything was very tastefully decorated, modern, nothing was missing and it was very clean. Amandine was very helpful and yet discreet. We can recommend everything without restriction and will be happy to come back.

We had Avery enjoyable family holiday. Sophie and Michel were very helpful and went above and beyond for us. Lovely surroundings, close to the beach and small local shops , restaurants and a playground. The house itself was spacious, and clean with plenty to keep the children busy outside. Couldn't ask for more and highly recommend.

Thibaut's place was a highlight for us. The house is restored with much love and attention to detail. Our kids loved the beautiful garden, equipped with a slide and playhouse and the small nooks in the house. After a busy day hiking and exploring this absolutely stunning region, we appreciated the super well equipped kitchen and cosy living room. A big plus for us was also the small supermarket in Barneville which was open even on the bank holiday and Sunday. One of the beaches is in walking distance and others reachable by car after a short drive. Many thanks again for all the great advice on what to do. We look forward to coming back.

Wow! What a fabulous place! A gorgeously renovated old Property with a modern approach and still keeping a character feel. Everything that was needed was available and more! Delphine was so helpful and responsive when we asked questions. The area is stunning, we visited Mont st Michel (2nd trip), Cancale centre, port, Dinan, Dol de Bretagne, Dinard. We swam on the hottest day at Plage port Mer which is a gorgeous beach. One thing to note only is that you need to reverse or drive out on to a sometimes busy side road. The house right on the sea was overwhelmingly beautiful. Very tasteful and cozy. The kitchen is very well equipped from A as Austernbrecher to Z as Zitronenpresse, everything there to cook extensively. Internet super fast ! Sufficient thought was given to sockets and strips to charge electronic devices comfortably. The pellet stove is easy to use and brings a cozy atmosphere when it storms and is cold outside. The surroundings are wonderful for hiking and cycling. Small supermarket in Quinéville. Other good shopping in Quettehou (also great organic shop!) An unforgettable vacation!

Accommodation in accordance with the description, close to several starting points for hiking or cycling. Close to Carteret Beach and close to Hatainville Beach. We had a great time with our kids. Communication with Grégoire & Amina before/during and after the stay was smooth.

Léa and Alex have done something really nice here. The house is spotless and beautifully decorated, with quality materials and cookware. There are at least 4 different seating areas and the outside space is very well-designed. We loved the big windows, the views and the general location. Léa responded quickly to our messages, making check-in and check-out very easy. Their place truly has the Wow factor and we recommend it highly !

The house is beautiful, perfect for a family, very spacious and equipped with all the necessary comforts. Only 50 meters from the sea, the location is ideal for enjoying the beach and the calm. La Petite Rucgueville is located in a very quiet piece of nature, which was perfect for us. The dogs could romp in the garden and our daughter could also play there well. The layout of the house is very successful, a terrace that directly adjoins the kitchen is perfect. Since towels and bed linen are available and the beds were even made, the holiday could start immediately. Merci Hélène!
