Anna & Kevin are very responsive & we felt very welcome. The house is large (we were with 4 persons) and well equipped. The garden also has a lot to offer: nice swimming pool, cosy sitting area & hot tub. A lot to discover in the surrounding area, a car is highly recommended.

Amazing stay, you must try Richard’s food, so very good. We had such a great time we have booked to go again next year.

An extremely pleasant extended weekend in a place full of charm. Julie is cheerful, attentive and considerate. I've rarely seen such a hearty breakfast in other cottages. Likewise, we also tested the proposed meal: excellent value for money. Finally, the jacuzzi session in the troglodyte cellar ended up charming us. I highly recommend this listing.

The accommodation is very clean, very well-equipped in a building that has a lot of charm and all in a very quiet environment. We were hosted very well and the instructions on how to use the various equipment were very clear. Special mention for the jacuzzi which is always nice. We would definitely recommend this place.

We had a very nice stay, the place is beautiful and peaceful for a weekend close to nature! Justine and Davide were flexible, and communication was simple, effective and very pleasant.

Excellent stay in this rejuvenating environment! Very good communication with the hosts, impeccable accommodation, perfect bedding. The private jacuzzi was a real treat, with the added bonus of the privacy screen installed the day before our arrival, allowing us to enjoy the jacuzzi in complete privacy. We recommend it without hesitation, and we will not hesitate to come back!

This tranquil place is perfect for a stop over or as a base to explore the region. It is close to the motorway and yet far enough from it no to be heard. There is a medium size supermarket and a large pet store nearby which is convenient. The village itself is worth a visit, especially on market day. The beds are very comfortable and the bedding of great quality. The log burner is user friendly and efficient. There is plenty of wood made available. The grounds are vast and very pleasant. Our labrador took full advantage of them. The owner is very friendly towards both dogs and people. The mairie has recently changed the street numbers but google has yet to receive the memo so it sends you to the wrong address. Make sure you double check the address with the owner before your arrival. This was a real find for us after travelling through France for 3 months. It is a perfect mid way stop over if you are travelling up or down on the west coast, especially with a dog. We'll be back:)

First of all, the estate is surrounded by nature, near Saumur. Many visits within a limited perimeter. For children, the pool is very nice for a return visit. The apartment suited us perfectly for the 3 of us.

What to say... a very good welcome from our host, the house is spacious, the bedding perfect, everything necessary for our comfort (appliances, TV, wifi...) Very clean house, a beautiful plot in a very quiet space... And of course 20 minutes from Puy du Fou, which makes it a perfect place. Thank you again.

We loved our time at Orchard cottage. Emma and Tim went above and beyond to welcome us, offer tips on good locations amd even offered to run us up to a local wine tasting. We were able to enjoy some "down time" relaxing in the beautiful garden, using the pool and reading in the hammock. And we also visited 4 local chateaux. We particularly enjoyed our day in Saumur. I highly recommend this venue for a fabulous experience of rural countryside and visits to some of the beautiful chateaux that the Loire region has to offer.

Beautiful accommodation, authentic, no fuss, everything is planned for a pleasant stay. Lots of attention for children with board games for all ages, costumes, outdoor games. 35 minutes from Puy du Fou, 50 minutes from Les Sables d'Olonne.... We appreciate the basic necessities to be immediately comfortable (laundry, soap, groceries, enough to have lunch...) as well as the beds made. We also appreciate the possibility of going to see the animals, picking a strawberry or collecting an egg... Excellent value for money!!!

Amélie and her parents were very welcoming. The house was clean and as described. Bonus: baby equipment that made our stay easier. Very nice environment, peace guaranteed. I recommend it.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the farmhouse, at La Blatiere. If you want to be off the beaten track in a very pretty and relaxing location, this is ideal, whilst there are also plenty of places to visit within an hour or so. The pool was also a big plus, which we used every day. The roads are very quiet with no traffic. We visited local places and also had chilled days 'on site' so the pool, the bikes to borrow and the games room were fun additions to have. The accommodation was very comfortable and well equipped. a little gem that seduced us all, young and old in a quiet little village. What to visit nearby, enough to rest in this quiet place to have fun thanks to the pool and also thanks to the nearby outings, enough to eat and drink thanks to the different restaurants in the area (for adorable prices), enough to marvel at the shooting stars at night... in short, a refreshing vacation thanks to great people, good advice and concerned about our well-being thank you again and we hope to see you soon

We had a pleasant weekend at Christina & Freddy's cottage! Communication was easy, and the welcome was very warm. We were lucky to have great weather that allowed us to enjoy the terrace (the major asset of the accommodation, in the middle of greenery🌿). The cottage is well located, close to many places to visit and activities. Note: we thought we were arriving in a "quiet and isolated" place, it is located on the edge of a fairly busy road. This did not prevent us from having a very good time, and we will gladly return if the opportunity arises! Calypso & Baptiste

Everything was absolutely perfect, the accommodation very clean, small touches - homemade jams, candy for the children - the bed and bath linens were nice and in good condition, the kitchen well-equipped. The welcome was warm and Emeline was very available and found us all the information we could need for our visits to the area. Everything you could wish for to have a good vacation, and even beyond our expectations!

Staying in the area for Puy du Fou, we took the reservation at 4 the location and the accommodation was great! We will be back!
