I recently had the delightful experience of staying at Seas the Day in The Strand, and I cannot recommend this place highly enough! From the moment I arrived, I was enchanted by the stunning location and breathtaking sea views. The apartment itself was nothing short of exquisite. Beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean, it offered all the amenities I could have desired. The spacious and inviting layout provided an ideal retreat after a day of exploration. Our host, Sean, was always available and exceptionally accommodating, which enhanced our stay even further. In summary, my time at Seas the Day was an unforgettable experience filled with beautiful scenery, warmth, and comfort. I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone seeking a wonderful getaway in The Strand!

Magriet was there to greet us although self check-in is also available. We enjoyed complimentary coffee, milk and rusks and we were welcomed with chocolates on the bed. The heaters were turned on and the bedroom was nice and cosy when we got there. Magriet recommended coffee shops restaurant and there are also brochures for Ceres attractions in the room. Shower had hot water and towels available for use plus extra bedding in case it got cold, wifi was available , parking secure behind an automated gate and separately from the main house. The accommodation was great , good value for money and Magriet is a super host, I will definitely recommend stay over there if in Ceres. I have stayed and about 60 airbnbs at least, and this is the best one I have ever been too. So many special touches and care in setting up a perfect get away. Honestly you will love this place. Hosts were wonderful as well!

Lisa’s place was absolutely perfect! It was a close drive to town, but located on a beautiful winery that serves breakfast and lunch throughout the day. Lisa’s check-in instructions were thorough and clear. The place was clean, there were snacks and drinks available in the unit for purchase. We felt very safe the entire time. Thank you again Lisa for such a wonderful stay!! We would definitely return :)

Awesome location! Very nice apartment with everything you need. The only thing I missed was a Nespresso machine, but then again, there is lots of coffee places nearby – ha-ha!

Wonderfully positioned, beautifully equipped and just the perfect spot for a weekend away in beautiful Franschhoek. Perfect convenience and such care shown with decor and extras. Holding thumbs we get to visit again.

We had a wonderful stay at this apartment! The location is fantastic—just a short walk to the beach, with plenty of great coffee shops and small restaurants nearby. There are also several shopping complexes and malls in the area, and it’s an easy drive to Gordon’s Bay. The apartment itself is very secure with off-street parking and is well equipped with all the essentials and more. The bed was super comfortable, and everything was clean and cozy. Our host was friendly and helpful throughout. Highly recommend.

Wonderful apartment so well designed for a small place. The kitchen was closed off from the rest of the open plan area which is great - no cooking smells trapped in your bed clothes. Wonderful view - very confortable bed. Everything was spotless. Malinda Burden who kindly met us after 7pm was wonderful. Clear instructions, friendly and responsive. I would definitely love to visit again. The apartment may be pretty ot in Summer, but was perfect in May and a fan is provided.

We had a wonderful stay, it was indeed cozy. Beautiful view, the apartment is very resourceful which almost felt like an extra treat 🤭 Chanél is very responsive which feels super supportive if one is uncertain about anything.

We were warmly welcomed by Simone and we immediately felt at home. The space had a luxurious feel and we truly enjoyed the tranquility the house and area. Before check in, the hosts asked if they could heat the hottub for us to have it ready upon arrival, how nice! The area was peaceful and we could walk to the beach. The hosts were very responsive and even assisted us when we had car trouble, truly nice people. Will visit again!

This unit was one of the best we've stayed in in our worldly travels!! It was even better than the photos. The unit is very large and spacious for our family and the kitchen had eveything we needed to prepare our meals for the week. The patio was also very large and had amazing views of the ocean and moutains. Strand is one of our favorite places to stay in The Cape and this unit did not disappoint. We highly recommend staying here and look forward to our next visit. Thanks Colin!!

What a lovely place! Gorgeous decor, attention to the smallest detail with everything you could need for the perfect stay. We were surprised to find a bottle of cold champagne, white and red wine, snacks and chocolate waiting to be enjoyed. We had a fabulous stay.

the space was exactly as described. Lola was extremely responsive. we thoroughly enjoyed the cheese and wine tasting. very close to numerous vineyards. highly recommended

We stayed for 1 night at Ivan's apartment. You are right in the center and can walk easily everywhere in town. The balcony is looking out to the main street to watch the people. The pool was a nice addition but we weren't able to take advantage of it. What we didn't notice during the booking is that the upstairs bedroom is not closed of from the living area downstairs. Just be aware of that. Would stay here again.

Geweldig verblijf in de winemakers cottage - van alle gemakken voorzien en een prachtige wijnboerderij! Ontbijt, lunch en wijnproeverij zeer aan te bevelen!

On arrival, our wonderful fresh sourdough awaited, a welcome touch we both loved. The cottage was spotless and the kitchen extremely well-appointed, AND there was filter coffee and milk – most welcoming!! We ordered Ubers from the cottage without any issue, as we knew parking in town during the festival was a bit of a schlep. We did not get to see the dam or test the hot tub as we were too busy with the festival. The WiFi password had changed, and a new one was provided swiftly, and comms with the farm manager were good. The only niggle we had was noise from the house next door around midnight and again at 6 am that woke us up and we couldn't nod off again. One suggestion, especially for summer light, would be to swap the blackout curtain in the living room to the bedroom. The light did not bother us but in summer it might filter through the curtains. We will definitely stay at Royal Gala Cottage again!
