Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Breckland District

We had a really enjoyable stay at Holly's airbnb. the place was as described, in fact there was more in the kitchen than we had anticipated which was great. As a group of 8 (made up of couples and friends) there was loads to keep us occupied with the games room and to our surprise, there was a cupboard full of other board games. The garden is totally secure which is great as we have a dog so we didn't have to worry about them roaming outside and Holly had provided maps and directions for local walks which made taking him for a walk much easier. We had trouble getting the hot tub to a suitable temperature and Holly was on hand to help us resolve quickly. All in all, a great stay and we all had a lovely time!

The accommodation was beautifully furnished and decorated to a very high standard. Everything we could need for a comfortable stay was provided. Mark supplied a lovely welcome pack, which was much appreciated. The private garden was a delight. Mark was friendly and helpful. We would not hesitate to recommend the hay loft.

An excellent location as a base to visit coast and inland locations. A tight turn off the main road - so just be aware of cars speeding round the corner. Attention to detail was excellent from the hosts - fresh flowers, dog blankets and the largest welcome ‘pack’ we’ve encountered, including a number of homemade products - over and beyond expectation. This was a lovely little house to base ourselves for our trips around Norfolk. Lovely comfortable beds and a big, spacious lounge and dining room. A gorgeous little courtyard which, unfortunately, the weather prevented us enjoying much! A great place to stay and not too far to drive to anywhere in Norfolk. The Park and Ride at Thickthorn is excellent for getting into the heart of Norwich and visiting the cathedral and castle there.

We had the most wonderful time staying at The Little Barn in Topcroft. It is a well kept and comfortable cottage, with all the amenities you could want. We loved the location as it is tucked out of the way of the busiest areas but still well connected to the coast and towns/cities for trips out. Hannah is a superb host who will go above and beyond to make you feel welcome and settled (providing us with some delicious home made apple juice too!). We will definitely be returning and would recommend!

Great place will be back in the future

We had a really lovely stay at Mayflower Cottage. The cottage had everything that we needed and was in a really beautiful quiet location. Easy driving to all the costal locations that we wanted to visit. Very quiet surroundings and we were able to have a really good sleep in a comfortable bed. We especially enjoyed a walk each day in the country lanes to visit the goats in a field a short distance from the cottage!! We had fabulous weather and were able to enjoy eating in the peaceful rear garden. We also had a fabulous meal at the Beeston Ploughshare. Really good food and very friendly and welcoming staff. Our stay at Mayflower Cottage was well worth the price paid and we hope that we are able to have a return visit.

Louise was a fab host. Flexible check-in. She even kept the blinds shut and windows open for me as it was such a roasting day and I wouldn't be able to check in until later. Blissfully comfortable and I slept like a baby. Would love to stay again & would recommend to all.

Booked at very late notice but thankfully Ben got back to me quickly and was very responsive throughout the stay. The cottage is beautifully decorated and has everything you need and more. Felt very cosy and relaxed there. Loved the working stove. Great spacious parking facilities. There’s a hotel about 10 mins walk away that serves good food. Perfect location for exploring Norfolk.

This is a very special find. Every detail of the flat has been prepared with love and care. It’s a creative quirky space full of beautiful things. The location is only a couple of minutes from the start of the arty precinct leading into Norwich; lots of cafes and bars and studios on the walk into town. I used the back stairs once I got in- just easier to navigate . Communication from Tony and Caryn was friendly and clear and went above and beyond. Thanks😌

The apartment was very close to the Tuesday market square so very convenient for all the historic parts of town as well as the high street shops and restaurants. We were pleasantly surprised by how spacious and comfortable it was

Lovely flat with really nice fixtures and fittings. Owners very responsive. Easy acces via key box and clear instruction. Great base if you want to see North Norfolk. If you don't, it's a very good location with pubs and takeaways within short walking distance.

A lovely peaceful spot with pleasant village walk to the river from the door, as well as easy access to the main road. The accommodation was very comfortable with everything we needed and felt homely and clean. The riverside location was lovely, although rather more overgrown than shown on the pictures. Would definitely stay again.

This is a true 5 star place! If you are looking to stay in the heart of Norwich, this is the perfect place. You can tell the owner takes pride in this home as it is well-maintained and in excellent condition. It is a tri-level home which has so much charm and character. We loved the spacious living room, very clean kitchen, large master bedroom, and bunk beds for the kids. Everything was as described and shown in the pictures, only better. Finally, Paolo was a great host and was very responsive, gave great check-in instructions, and was very friendly. We would come back in a heartbeat!

Our first Airbnb experience, and we were very impressed. We had a gig nearby, and our usual hotel choice was full. Rather than opt for a room in a pub, we decide to give Airbnb a go. The booking experience was excellent and very easy; communication was timely and gave clear guidance; check in was super easy, with parking extremely close. Once inside, the flat was spacious, spotless and perfectly equipped. We only stayed for one night, but you'd be happy here for weeks!

We loved our stay at Chris's apartment! Its in a beautiful part of Norwich, lots of great places nearby and walkable to the city centre. Everything was super comfortable, the place is really cool from a design perspective and appreciated a full stocked kitchen (spices, oil etc) for cooking. A note that the light gets into the bedroom pretty easily but I always travel with an eye mask and ear plugs - so would recommend that if you're a sensitive sleeper.

A super apartment within easy walking distance of the train station, restaurants and all of the attraction Norwich has to offer. The apartment is really cosy with a very comfortable bed and well equipped kitchen. Access is really secure and easy. Although I had no need for a parking space, this is a great service that the apartment offers. Highly recommended!

First time using Airbnb and we hit the jackpot with Sarah. Visiting our Son at University, the Flat was a great base. Very reasonably priced, quiet location, free parking. The flat was clean and comfortable. Sarah was very informative and quick to respond to any messages.

We had such a lovely stay. The flat is very clean, nicely decorated and the outdoor area is beautiful. The sauna was fab and we loved taking a dip in the water. Would definitely stay again!

Marisol’s spacious annex apartment was a great place to stay whilst I was in Norwich for just one night. It’s very close to the hospital and UEA. Marisol was a lovely host and the check-in/out process was super easy.
