Stunning location, responsive host, great set up for our family getaway

Chelsi is a fantastic host, so communicative, friendly and so helpful. We thoroughly enjoyed our time at the forest house. The bedrooms were lovely and spacious, the tv in the living room is amazing and we loved the conservatory and the hot tub. The coffee and tea amenities provided were very generous and thoughtful. Chelsi provided great recommendations for places to visit and walks into the forest straight from the house. We would highly recommend staying at forest house.

From the moment we booked our stay at Deer Cottage, the communication was absolutely superb. Tina, the host, was incredibly accommodating, even allowing us an early check-in which meant we could settle in and start relaxing a little sooner than expected – a lovely gesture! Deer Cottage itself was nothing short of delightful, living up to its description perfectly. It was an ideal spot for some much-needed R&R. Every single detail had been thought of to ensure our comfort, from a lovely hamper of goodies waiting for us, to robes and slippers. These thoughtful touches really made the stay feel special. We highly recommend Deer Cottage for anyone seeking a comfortable, relaxing, and well-appointed getaway. We can't wait to return!

We hired Ash Tree Barns as a short break for our extended family to celebrate an 80th birthday. It was perfect for our needs with plenty of space for everyone. The property was lovely and clean on our arrival and had everything we needed. We spent most of our time enjoying family catch-up time at the pool table, in the hot tub and in the gym. Even ‘Nanna’ had a go on the exercise bike! Jade was very easy to deal with and quick to respond to any of our queries. A great host and a lovely venue. Thank you.

Fantastic Host and Venue. Always happy to help with any requests and even decorated the house to celebrate the Birthday Girls. High recommend going to the local Fox and Hound Pub for food, its literally a 30 second walk away. Will definitely be heading back here again for a nice relaxing break!!

It's not often that a place exceeds your expectations, but this place certainly did, it is absolutely beautiful, everything about it was perfect, there were 8 of us staying here and each and everyone of us loved it. Marcus was lovely to deal with, he recommended a restaurant/pub for a Saturday lunch, "The Red Lion" in Debenham which was about an hours walk away and the food and service were exceptional. We had a fabulous weekend.

We had a lively stay at Helen's, the garden is huge and is fenced (which was handy with a toddler), it has a playground and a small house for kids that our daughter loved. It also has a direct access to a field with two horses that were happy to be pet. The house itself is very large, clean, with a play room and lot of books and boardgames, and a very well equipped kitchen. We felt instantly at home. Helen even gave us spices we had forgotten and needed ro cook a dish. And of course, there was the jaccuzzi! It was the perfect gataway for a long week end. Would 100% recommend!

This was a gorgeous house which we are so grateful to have stayed in. Claire was incredibly helpful and the property was just as described. Such a beautiful part of the world, nestled in lovely Finchingfield, the house was quiet and secluded and had everything we needed.

We had a wonderful stay! The place was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. We especially loved having a BBQ, soaking in the hot tub, and taking in the stunning view of the water. Honeysuckle, cabin was really amazing, nice and clean very comfortable and extremely well equipped with quality bedding, toiletries along with everything you could possibly need. This is somewhere I would be very happy to visit again. The host Richard was very helpful and on hand if you needed him, but left us to enjoy the peace and tranquility, in this beautiful relaxing setting.

Lovely barn conversion with lots of space and great facilities. Plenty of parking available.

We had the most amazing family stay for our mum's 60th birthday. The house was beautiful, interesting and fun. It had enough for all ages to do and the outside pool, tubs and eating space was perfect. We were so lucky with the weather and instead of going out to do expensive activities we made the most of the house, fishing, park and pub (so family friendly). We would definitely come back but would avoid the middle of summer as the house did get extremely hot, especially upstairs. It wouldnt put us off going back though. Stayed here with my partners family for the weekend, we had such a lovely time. We made good use of the pool table and the football table. It was very spacious with 7 of us and 2 little dogs. Would definitely recommend!

We had a lovely time at Sam's home. Myself and partner stayed with our 11 month baby, 2 year old, and 3 other family members. We all agreed that the good aspects of this home were VERY good and enabled us to have a brilliant time. The garden, pool and outdoor shower were the definite highlights of the stay. Inside the house was clean and the layout and space worked well for all 7 of us. As stated above, certain features of the stay were outstanding which is why we gave it 5 stars but there are a few aspects we felt could really take it to the next level. Not being able to flush toilet paper, electric bin not working, big crack in top landing window, bizarre food left in fridge, freezer and cupboards (beetroot in fridge, cat food in cupboards), door handle broken in downstairs bedroom leading to garden, dishwasher full on arrival, blinds not rolling down/up properly etc All things that are easily sorted and would ensure the same high standard throughout.

Beautiful place, very relaxing and peaceful. Spotlessly clean and provided everything I needed for my stay. Home from home! Ian was very efficient and kind. Would definitely stay again. Thank you!

The place if you want a quiet, peaceful getaway surrounded by the best of the Suffolk countryside. We had amazing weather for our one night stay. The bath was brilliant (takes a while to fill, bear in mind). The cabin was cosy and homely. I can imagine a winter stay would be equally wonderful. Being a Sunday evening and wanting a more substantial meal than was available at the closer (and offering food), we walked the The Poachers Pocket. About 1hr 10 mins at a leisurely pace along quiet lanes and bridleway. Looked like there was all you'd need to cook at the cabin and a large fridge. Would recommend to family and friends.

Had a fantastic long weekend here with family. With two toddlers the place was very secure with lots for them to do. The play area was a big hit. The under cover pool was amazing and the jacuzzi. Perfect stay. Would definitely recommend. Lots of space for 11 adults.

Amazing lodge, very clean and had all the amenities needed. We stayed for 1 night for my husband’s birthday and the little touches were lovely. A bottle of prosecco and orange juice plus milk in the fridge, toiletries in the bathroom and robes for the hot tub! The hot tub was so nice, especially sitting inside and taking in the views! Lovely place to stay for a few nights. Peaceful and very private which was a nice change from being in a crowded town. Suzanne welcomed us as we arrived and showed us around. Would 100% recommend and definitely would stay again!

We had the most amazing stay at this beautiful lodge for a relaxing hen do weekend! 💕 The setting is peaceful and quiet, with lovely views over the golf club, perfect for enjoying the hot tub and soaking in the scenery. The lodge was spotless and really well kept, with plenty of towels and everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The kitchen was fully equipped, the living space was cosy, and we genuinely didn’t need to bring a thing. The gym, pool, and other facilities nearby were a real bonus, such a great touch for a bit of wellness and fun during the weekend. Karen was incredibly helpful with the arrangements and full of great information about the local area, which made planning our stay so much easier. The neighbours were absolutely lovely too, which added to the warm, welcoming atmosphere. We honestly couldn’t have asked for more. we’ll definitely be booking again!

We had a lovely stay at the lodge, it was so relaxing and peaceful! The lodge itself had everything you needed and felt very homely. The little Pizza bar was amazing would recommend the food, a perfect place to play pool and have a drink aswell. The workers were all extremely friendly and helpful. I have already recommended the lodge to some friends and will definitely be back at some point!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ My family and I had the most amazing time at the Malibu Lake House! The location was superb, and the views of the lake were absolutely breathtaking. Every morning, we woke up to the serene beauty of the lake right outside our window—truly a sight to behold. Helen, our host, was incredibly helpful and always responded quickly to provide any information or assistance we needed. Her attentiveness made our stay even more enjoyable and stress-free. This place is genuinely special and one of a kind. We loved it so much that we've already booked to go again in August. The Malibu Lake House provided a perfect getaway, and we can’t wait to return for another fantastic stay. Thank you, Helen, for making our stay so memorable!
