3 Bowsden Hall Farm Cottage

JoannaRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
My parents and I had a wonderful stay for the weekend. The house was immaculate, warm and very well presented in a lovely little village that is only a short distance from Holy island, Bamburugh and Alnwick making it an ideal location to explore from. My son loved the steam train from Heatherslaw to Etal which is only a few miles away too. We were all very comfortable and would definitely recommend staying here and will likely return in the future as there is so much to do and we know how good the accommodation is. Thankyou!

Rural Secluded cottage

JulieRating, 5 stars3 days ago
This is a magical property! We were just in awe of the cuteness & the beauty of the surrounding countryside. It is so well finished, comfortable, & peaceful. The bedding was very nice & beds were comfortable. Ample room for two couples. We didn’t cook much but all the supplies are there. There are pictures of the restoration which we loved. So thankful for the effort to save this amazing home. We absolutely loved the house, the donkeys, the garden, the remoteness of the location. We were even treated to an evening thunderstorm which made everything all the more cozy. It was just perfect!

Arts and craft style lodge

HeleneRating, 5 stars6 days ago
I stayed at the Lodge with my adult daughter for four days. We wanted a base close to the Cheviots to spend a few days exploring and walking in one of the few hilly areas of the UK we did not know. And that's precisely what the Lodge gave us: easy access to the hills from the west (via Town Yetholm), east (via Wooler) or north (via Hethpool). We ate in every evening: meals were easy to prepare in the well appointed kitchen, and it being June we were able to eat at the table outside until quite late, enjoying the absolutely glorious view of the hills nearby and on the opposite side of the valley. Although the Lodge is situated right beside a road T-junction, the traffic was so light we were hardly aware of it. Cattle lowing in the distance and a pack of hounds being exercised in the morning are the sounds we will remember most. To conclude: clean, quiet, well equipped and, for us, wonderfully situated. I could not recommend the Lodge too highly to a small party wanting a restful break.

We had a great stay at Findara. Lovely cottage to stay in with great decor. Situated in a peaceful location with a secure garden that our dogs could run around in. Lydia gave us some good recommendations for places to visit and eat. Would recommend to stay here.

excellent place to stay absolutely beautiful and everything we needed. Oliver went above and beyond for us prior to our stay which we appreciated such as ensuring the garden was secure for our furry friends. thank you Oliver.

Lots to do here at ‘Beach Daze’

KevinRating, 5 stars1 week ago
June was a perfect host , was there if we wanted her and was very helpful. She met us outside on arrival and gave us the keys to the property. The house was very homely and spacious for 2 people and very well equipped. Would highly recommend It is well located with the beach about 100 yards away at the bottom of the street with easy access into the town and the harbour-side. Everything you need is close by with small coop supermarket , bakery and coffee shop within 200 yards.

Crookhouse Bowmont

This property is a real gem in the most beautiful location, the views are truly stunning ! A little way off the beaten track but the peace and quiet with the wonderful views were definitely worth it. Warm and cosy cottage with well equipped kitchen, comfy beds, handy welcome information and local recommendations, we couldn't have asked for more. 5 nights was not long enough, we wish we had stayed for longer!
