Cottage holiday rentals in Brancaster Staithe

Thanks to Max for letting us use this lovely space. Myself and my partner booked in to get away for a few days and this place was exactly what we needed. Quiet, cosy and tucked away but still able to access all of the activities we planned in Norfolk. The house was spotless clean and you can tell Max has put a lot of thought into the amenities provided (even down to the ice lollies in the freezer!) The hot tub was a perfect touch to relax in the garden with some music on and some bubbles. The stay was amazing. Thank You!

Thank you Mary for letting us stay at your cottage, we had a great time and couldn't recommend it enough to anyone looking to have a peaceful getaway! The hot tub was immaculate and we also enjoyed the swimming pool. The cottage was tidy and comfy, and the location is great - close to some really nice walks and villages. Hope we get the chance to come back!

Spacious house. Good sized rooms. Good outside space. Nice and quiet. Bit difficult to get out of the drive by car as it was on a bend with little visibility. Cooking was by AGA ( except for microwave) . That would be great in winter but not ideal during the hottest week of the year.

We had a wonderful stay here, felt right at home. Plenty of space for the 6 of us, comfortable sofas and beds, plenty of towels for the hot tub. The surrounding area was beautiful with a short walk to the lake. The hosts came back straight away with my many questions and we are getting a date sorted to book back in next year. One point to make is that there is pub down the road that although google said was open, it isn't at weekends. There is a great little cafe though on the lake that is a 5 minute walk away. Easy to get a food shopping order delivered and a really nice touch of a cake and bottle of wine as we were there celebrating Birthdays. Highly recommend this place. Thanks for having us.

We had a lovely time here our first overnight trip with our new baby. Brilliant hosts, the bread and eggs were a nice touch. Interesting cup lights in the kitchen. Would definitely recommend. Thanks :)

Beautiful cottage in a wonderful little town full of things to do and see (and the beach is not far away). The cottage is really well-appointed and full of cool things. The hot-tub was also a complete luxury!

Lovely few days staying in South Creake. I visit Norfolk often for the beautiful scenery, villages and coast and this stay did not disappoint. A quintessential cottage in a quiet village but spacious and modern enough for 4 of us. We loved the hot tub too! About 20 mins drive from Wells and Brancaster beaches, lovely restaurants such as The White Horse at Brancaster. Clean and well equipped stylish cobbled cottage.

Beautiful cottage, looked just like the pictures and much more spacious once we got inside. Lovely garden and the hot tub was a bonus. Our dog loved sunbathing on the grass outside and had loads of nature reserves dotted around for us to visit and take the dog on a walk. 10/10 would definitely recommend

Melanie’s cottage was great! We were greeted with prosecco and cupcakes which was a lovely additional touch. Holt is a beautiful town and a great base from which to explore from. Parking is in a paid for public car park- a designated space would top it off.

Great stay with children and grandchildren. Everything was as described. Very minor niggle, their are lots of pigeons in the trees and they had cra**ed all over the outside table, took some shifting. But thats it,value for money everything had been thought about and actioned, welcome pack was a bonus and went down well with first night food from the local chippy. Thanks Emma

We thoroughly enjoyed out stay at Thatch Cottage. An excellent base from which to explore the area. Liz proved a very attentive host and was concerned that our stay was the best we could have. The cottage was lovely and very well equipped. We appreciated the 'gift basket' - a nice touch that makes the visitor feel welcome. What was especially important for us was the 'dog safe' garden. Often host describe their rental as 'dog friendly' but they haven't provided a secure garden area. Liz made sure that her garden was well fenced off and we felt very happy that our dog was able to be free and safe. Thank you Liz.

Beautiful home in a perfect location. It had everything we needed (and more for our young family!) Loved the complimentary hamper and toiletries - was a lovely touch. We'll definitely be back - thank you!

Lovely spacious cottage , perfect for a weekend away exploring the Norfolk coast with our dog Pepper. Emma even let us have a late check out on Sunday which was fantastic. We will definitely be returning in the future Ryan, Emma and Pepper the Miniature Schnauzer

Just got back from a lovely stay at Pebble Cottage. Lovely location. Not far from Wells Next the Sea, where we enjoyed a scorching 31 degrees Saturday. Pebble Cottage is beautiful. So much bigger than we expected!! Everything has been done to such a high specification! Would definitely recommend 10 out of 10.

Having Autistic children makes holidays very difficult for us, but this was the best holiday we’ve had! The pool was by far the best bit, we spent hours in it everyday. It was warm and very clean. The cottage was cozy and had everything you needed. Great location, so much to do within a short drive and lovely beaches. We’ll definitely be back again. Thank you Andy and Fi xx

The cottage was one of the best we have stayed in. Very comfortable and dog friendly.Litcham is a good base for visiting Norfolk and good amenities in the village. Lots of places to walk the dog and the pub was very friendly.

Just had a fabulous few days in Blakeney exploring the North Norfolk Coast. We chose the Tap Room for the positive reviews and great location. The accommodation was as described and just what we needed: a quiet and private setting. Everything had been well thought out and we couldn’t fault a thing. The welcome pack was a lovely touch! George was incredibly accommodating and communicative before and during our stay. His local information was really helpful and we enjoyed some lovely meals from his recommendations. We would highly recommend the Tap Room, and any future guests must try ‘Two Magpie’ bakery, which was absolutely fabulous and open every single day! 😊

We had a wonderful stay in East Rudham. Sue met us on arrival at the property and showed us around - such quiet and peaceful surroundings with a beautiful garden to look out onto, we felt immediately at home. The property is spacious & extremely clean and had everything we needed for our stay - including milk & tea bags for a welcome cuppa after our journey. It's in a great position close to open farmland and an easy drive to the beautiful north Norfolk coast and other local attractions. Sue was friendly and communicative from the outset - highly recommended!

We have just come back from a fantastic 3 nights stay at Angie’s wonderful cottage in North Norfolk. The accommodation was spotless with high quality furniture and fittings. Angie has thought of everything and her attention to detail is impressive! The village of Binham is an excellent location for visiting the main attractions of North Norfolk and there is a great pub (The Chequers) and a great cafe (The Parlour) both within easy walking distance in the village. Angie’s communication from the initial booking through to the end of the stay was excellent. Plus there was a lovely welcome hamper with lots of local goodies! 100% recommended, we will definitely be returning!

Comfortable house in a quiet location & well equipped & maintained to a high standard. Outstanding house manual with laminated sheets for all appliances including heating & TVs. Also well compiled information folder re surrounding area re restaurants, places of interest etc. We would highly recommend Staithe View & Hetti as a Host.

Our stay at The Stables in Clay was really lovely. The accommodation was great … a bit quirky, with interesting artwork in all areas. It was spotlessly clean and had all the facilities we needed. Lots of local information provided by the host and two pubs in the village serving great food. We would definitely return and would recommend The Stables to anyone looking for a peaceful and relaxing stay in the beautiful Norfolk countryside. Thank you Ed.

I highly recommend Poppy Cottage. We booked last minute, but Claire was really accommodating. Check in was easy, there is a dedicated parking space and entrance. This gave us complete freedom to come and go without worry, and the lock-box meant no stress about arriving at a specific time. There was milk and thoughtful extras waiting for us on arrival. The cottage was spotlessly clean and very well finished. The space was generally lovely; well thought out and bigger than I expected, with lovely views of the garden. The village was very sweet, incredibly quiet and felt very safe. The Wi-Fi was very good, the shower was great, the heating was very efficient; the cottage was warm and cosy. The log burner is a lovely addition. The kitchen was very well equipped. We unfortunately missed meeting Claire, but she was still very communicative and friendly and I felt perfectly comfortable reaching out to her (although everything was great and there was nothing we needed!). Thanks for having us!

The Shed was absolutely perfect for exploring the coast and having dinner at Morston Hall! It was very clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. The gorgeous patio garden was a great spot for morning coffee or to watch the barn swallows in the evening. We throughly enjoyed every minute and would gladly return!

Sarah's place is such a beautiful space to stay. Immaculate, comfortable and peaceful. Very thoughtful host , milk and treats much appreciated on arrival. Tesco Express and bus stop 5 minutes away couldn't have been easier. Lovely area lots to see would highly recommend.
