Completely newly furnished house with a wide view of the most beautiful bend of the Scheldt in Puurs-Sint-Amands (Sint-Amands). The house is located 50 meters from the tomb of the famous poet Emile Verhaeren. Every day, the tides, the countless bird species and the beautiful nature provide various scenes. The landscape never gets boring. Walks, bike rides along the Scheldt, cozy terraces, delicious restaurants and sailing with the ferry: all this is Sint-Amands.

This historically valuable farmhouse with thatched roof, in the hamlet of Korsele in the heart of the Flemish Ardennes, is the perfect base for wonderful walks and to enjoy the culture in Ghent and Oudenaarde. Cooking can be done on an AGA. In the summer, you can sit in the garden. A grapevine adorns the shed and gives shade to the terrace. It's lovely to wake up to the mooing of the cows. The gîte is an old charril with modern comforts. 2 levels: Ground floor: bright open space with fully equipped kitchen + living room (double sofa bed, coffee table, TV, wifi) and, kicker Mezzanine: 2 double beds, shower room, separate toilet. Our spacious 4 floor house, built in 1880, is located conveniently close to the central train station (Gent-Sint-Pieters) and alongside Ghent's Citadel park. The art museums are a very short stroll through the park and the city centre is easily reachable by tram (3 stops) or walking (20 minutes) from our very peaceful neighbourhood.
