Family-friendly holiday rentals in Bragança

We stayed in the apartment of Casa do Forno for 5 days and the experience was very good. The indoor pool was very convenient since we got a lot of rain on one of the days. The location is good as a starting point to explore the Montesinho Natural Park. The check in (made in another location and mentioned in the reservation confirmation) was simple and quick. The breakfast delivered every morning was of high quality. Whenever necessary, the farm staff were helpful and attentive. The decor and furniture were a little outdated but functional.

Excellent choice to escape the city routine! Accessible location, with parking and useful infrastructures about 20 minutes by car. Very beautiful and welcoming historic village, calm, surrounded by nature and peace. The house exceeded expectations, being better than in the photographs, besides that it was impeccable: clean, tidy and equipped with everything you need. The huge courtyard, the amazing jacuzzi, the bicycles, the hammock, the skylights, the air conditioning, the fire, the fireplace and the salamander were some of the cherries on the cake, but everything amazed us and made us feel right at home! Reception of companion animals also pleased us a lot. The hosts were impeccable: friendly, available, responsive, accessible and always ready to help or give suggestions on what to enjoy in the surroundings. Dona Paula is a very humble and caring person, who knows the history of the village and sharing it with a glow in her eyes. We hope to return one day!

The place is very nice, the house is very nice, comfortable, spacious. The kitchen is very well equipped. We were very comfortable. The only thing I could say is that it would be good to have shampoo and bath gel in the bathroom, even if it's just for the first day. But, we talked to the host and he solved the problem immediately and kindly, which is to be thanked. In short, we would not hesitate to return.

We were very comfortable, the house is great, in a very good place to get to know the area, and the host was attentive to our questions and needs. As an improvement, I would put latches in the bathrooms, or at least lock the door (one could not), and leave the patio cleaner so that it could be in it. In any case, highly recommended.

Thank you for this stay was lovely, we drove our car to the property accompanied by Rui and Isabella, only because our car is 4WD, the house is just beautiful, there is no one nearby and very quiet. There are also two bathtubs that need to be heated and enjoyed, it's very cool and relaxing! The house in person is much more cozy and beautiful than in the photos, it is a delight. It was especially nice that when I received a burn through my own fault in the bathroom in the closet there was a burn remedy, this is a very safe and cozy house.

Absolutely beautiful, stylish home. It was huge! It would be a wonderful place to come with a small group or for a family. We were just a couple but loved it just as much! The Jacuzzi tub was great and the beds were comfortable. We wished we could have stayed longer. Very good value for the space. Host was very friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend.

It's a great apartment. Isabel was very kind to us, and her husband was very interested in information about the area. The location of the house is ideal for touring the arrivals of the Douro.

This was probably the best experience we have ever had. This place is so private and surrounded by nature, perfect to enjoy amazing sunny days away from the city commotion. The whole place also exceeded our expectations, obviously through photos you don’t get the real sense of the house, but it was better than what we were imagining. Silvia, who had personal contact with us, was absolutely amazing and worked very hard for us to have the most pleasant stay possible. We will definitely be back next year!

Beautifully furnished, clean house equipped with everything you need. The location is extremely quiet, so you have the feeling of being the only house in the area. The complex is very well maintained and the pool is large enough for swimming. Communication with Carla is uncomplicated and friendly, we always had the feeling that we could turn to her in case of problems. We enjoyed every second and there is nothing to complain about. If we choose Portugal again, the accommodation and Carla will be our first choice.

It was an amazing experience! Raquel is very friendly and gave us a lot of advice. The house is excellent, everything is very clean, new, smells good and is very well cared for. The kitchen and utensils are in excellent condition. The heater works well. The shower is very good! The mattress and sheets were great and there were lower and higher pillows (in the room). I 100% recommend it!

We absolutely enjoyed the village and the surroundings, the woods, the river, the fountain, the friendly locals, and the peacefulness with the birds songs as the only sound around!

Spacious & clean with a great view + pool

Peace on the water (at the end of the world) The accommodation was only found after a telephone inquiry, although there are only a few buildings in the village. This is VERY secluded, if you want to stay longer, you should shop well. There were only two cafes and one (closed) restaurant there. The nearest store is about a 1/2 hour drive away. However, it would also be possible to arrive by train. However, it is fantastically beautiful, right on the river, and the traffic of ships, trains and cars can almost be counted. I particularly liked the surroundings with the many flowers, the access to the water and the many seating and lounging options outdoors, both in the shade and in the sun. If you want to take a boat trip, you don't have to go away, the host also does such. You can also rent boats from him, and he gave us tips for fishing. The accommodation is worth its price, is well equipped and there is also parking in the shade. Many thanks to all

Amazing location with incredible views. Beautiful property with great interior design and well chosen artwork, sympathetic to the original school. Thanks to Tania and Carla for the care and attention and for the outstanding breakfast each day. And for doing a shop for us on the first day before our arrival. We would definitely recommend the chef at home meal. Great food and service by the guys with traditional Portuguese dishes on offer. Fantastic stay; we didn’t want to leave….ever! Outstanding! Excellent stay for several in family with children. The area is beautiful and well maintained, the swimming pools are pleasant to cool down during heat waves. The hospitality is perfect; the price in season can be scary initially but the house, the estate and the kindness of the employees justify it. We'll be happy to go back! Thank you Ines (and Angela)

I can't say enough about how incredible this Airbnb was, Carla and her property were so beyond expectations. My family and I felt extremely comfortable there, it is remote but absolutely beautiful. We were not able to use the pool, because the weather was a little bit cold. I jumped in for like 20 minutes and even though it was cold it was very nice. Carla was so communicative the entire time we were there, she made lots of helpful suggestions and helped us to book a tour around the Douro Valley and surrounding areas. She and a friend also cooked us breakfast every morning, which was delicious and helped us to start our day. 10 out of 10, I would absolutely return.

This was the best Airbnb we ever stayed in. The house is specious and clean, the view is spectacular, the pool is beautiful and there are plenty activities for everyone. Above all, Fernanda cooked for us amazing dinners with fresh fish and meat, and fresh vegetables and fruits from her garden. This was delicious. Thank you Fernanda for your hospitality ❤️
