House holiday rentals in Braga

It was fantastic time in the Tue’s house. The garden is really spectacular.

The house is renovated and very comfortable, we would like to have noticed by the description that the outside area is far from the house.

António and Suzana are great hosts. Susana was super helpful and responsive, welcoming and the house was spotless! There was always help on hand. 100% recommended

We had such a good time. We loved the villa, WIFI was excellent, surroundings were so peaceful. House was very clean and the staff were very attentive. Couldn’t fault our stay, would recommend this place to anyone. Also love Bull the dog, very friendly! Thanks again!

Five stars to Casa de Cardido and to Rui and Alexandra for being wonderful hosts. We were a little late checking in, but Rui greeted us with a smile and a very generous tabua of local cheeses and meats. The hosts go above anything expected, with a sound system at the pool, exercise equipment, and fresh bread delivered daily. The house is a traditional Portuguese home - and it feels like a “home” not a rental. We spent two weeks here and it felt like staying with family. I noticed that one review commented on how close the highway is. Please know this is not a problem. You can see the highway when approaching the home from the road, but you cannot hear it and it does not interfere with the experience. This is very high quality stay with caring and involved hosts that will make sure you have all you need. I highly recommend.

The stadium was great, I just recommended that they better explain the location, since the indicated coordinates did not take us to the house, we had to consult on Booking. They could also have specified where the firewood and charcoal were. Kind Regards

The house is as it appears in the photos. It's very nice. It offers a setting in nature and with total tranquility to spend a few days of total rest and reading. It is also close to Braga and Guimaraes if you want to go on excursions. There is a restaurant very close by that you can walk to and eat well. Concensao is super friendly and very nice, always attentive if you need anything. Although she lives upstairs, it is a totally private space.

Very nice house, rather spacious, completely faithful to the photos. All three bedrooms are upstairs. Perfect for 6 people. Ideally located to visit the north of Portugal without being far from Porto. Stores within 10 min and the train station 5 min away allows you to reach Porto in 50 min for €2.90! An exceptionally beautiful house with a very good value for money. There are four really nice double rooms, so really suitable for up to 8 people. Three bathrooms, a large and really well equipped kitchen and the highlight: huge living room and dining room. The garden is also very nicely laid out (and there will be a pool soon too!). The location is fine (pure residential area) but you can walk and cycle directly from the house very nicely. In 10-15 minutes by car by the sea and in 45 minutes in Porto. The house is very well appointed, designed with a lot of love and absolutely recommended!

Thank you Samuel, you made our stay a really enjoyable one. Your personal attention to detail was very welcome. We loved the place, the ambience was special. It had everything we needed and it was in a beautiful part of the country. Very quiet but close enough to get provisions and meals out if needed. Samuel was a perfect host.

Great stay at this property. The area is beautiful, the place is peaceful we were able to enjoy a good barbecue and the pool with a great view 🤩 Clean and well-equipped accommodation, good bedding. Responsive host, we had good recommendations for restaurants and visit! We'll be back with pleasure next year for the WRC Rally of Portugal

Great place to stay, enjoy the nature and surroundings

It was a very wonderful stay, my wife is our two dogs. It was amazing. We loved the place, the house and very good, the space is very large, ideal to go with the family. Many greens and a beautiful waterfall on the edge of the house. Awesome was an amazing experience and I'm sure we'll come back more often. Joana is the super helpful António. It was 5 star. Relatively easy access (mountain roads), located in a small village 5 minutes' drive from a supermarket and cafes/pizzeria, stone house completely remodeled inside, equipped kitchen, well-decorated living room, a large balcony with a spectacular view and a very cool pool with cold water.

I’ve been looking forward to writing this review! Casa da Cera was the best experience I have had with a rental. Sandra’s place is exactly as she described. If you haven’t been to Guimarães, it’s hard to imagine how the apartment is in the BEST central location! I stayed for almost 3 weeks and would have stayed forever. Sandra is a wonderful host, always available. She has a parking pass available for renters and the lot is safe, indoors and within 5 minutes walk. There are groceries, shopping, pharmacy, restaurants, cafes, right outside the door of the home. There are a lot of stairs, so this is not a rental for anyone with mobility issues. But if not, it is the perfect base for exploring northern Portugal!

The home was exactly as pictured, gorgeous views, & pool/home were clean with nice furnishings. There were the expected and unexpected amenities (throw blanket, clothing dry rack, BBQ tools, pool shower, towels for 6, hangers, coffee and sugar). The rooms were bright and sunny, with electrically switched storm shutters to 100% block out sun/street light. Besides the basics, the kitchen included dish rag, sponge, towels, an expresso maker, French press, electric water kettle, decent knives, and the all important wine opener. Europe is not big on paper towels, and we didn't find them here nor at the market (weird). As planned, we were in a slightly remote, quiet area, away from tourists. We enjoyed the town of Vieira do Minho for meals & shopping and some lovely hikes 45min drive away. Paulo was a great host - accommodated our late arrival, met us for a property tour, responded promptly, and was helpful during a short power outage. Loved our stay - hope to return!

Although we only stayed one night, the house is very comfortable and well located. Pedro is very friendly and attentive to make everything okay for the guests. We loved the area and all the information Pedro gave us was very helpful.

We were a group of 4 adults, a 9 month old baby, a 2 year old, 2 dogs, and the house was perfect for everybody! Great space inside and outside (dogs enjoyed a lot exploring around, very safe), big bedrooms - each one had its own bathroom (they provided a cot for our little one), and a very well equipped kitchen. Isaque and his mom were very responsive, caring and available, made our stay super comfortable, providing some nice little "gifts" and local treats for us to enjoy along the days. We had a lovely and peaceful time. The pool is amazing, it had nice views as well. Not much to do around the area (I'd recommend to take everything you need for the entire stay), just little walks or hiking (you need a car to reach the closest town or the mini market), so if you are looking to spend some days with family, just enjoying nature and away from the every-day-rush, this is your place.
