Cabin holiday rentals in Boyne Valley Township

We had a wonderful stay at this cabin. So many things to do for everyone (2adults,2kids&the dog). We fished, relaxed in the hot tub, made s’mores in the fire pit. We played at the lodge on the cold rainy Friday, it was incredible (don’t forget to bring towels). The cabin was nicely located on top of a hill. You could see the water from the front yard and the few neighbors we saw were very friendly and welcoming. The kitchen was well stocked and the washer and dryer made things so easy for us to clean up. Doreen and John were very quick to get back to us with any questions. The little air conditioner and individual heaters were perfect for this time of the year. The lakes were beautiful and filled with fish. The boys had a blast. We can’t wait to come back when it’s a bit warmer. We will definitely use their place’s again, looking at one on the water for our next trip. 10/10

This was the perfect location to explore Northern Michigan. It was so close to many places we wanted to visit. The resort itself had so many amenities. We loved the pools and the beautiful neighborhoods. I highly recommend it because it’s a peaceful landing spot after a day of exploring the breathtaking region.

This was the perfect place for our weekend getaway. The house is in a quiet area with easy parking and views and an easy walk to the bay. Check-in was simple, with Kate providing great instructions for the keypad to let ourselves in. The house was cozy with all amenities as described, and we felt right at home. All the Traverse City attractions were easy to get to, and Kate provided great recommendations. We had an awesome time and would definitely stay here again.

We loved our stay at Wildwood Lodge! The property is on a barely traveled road and feels secluded (only one neighbor is visible but it does not impede on enjoying any of the hang out areas). The house was really well appointed with amenities (towels, kitchen gadgets/utensils) and was kept very clean. Loved the oversized couch to hang out on and then front porch for morning coffee. The small front fenced in area was perfect for our pups. We will definitely be back!

Such a peaceful place to stay. We enjoyed going out on the lake with the kayaks every morning. It is very close to a charming downtown Gaylord that has shopping and groceries close by. We had a great time.

It was a great cabin with full of things provide to do to spend the days away from home. Enough to do for days we didnt have plans to enjoy some cards around the open fire or enjoy some time in the hot tub, or have a friendly game of corn hole

Kyle’s place was in an excellent location. We were able to take a day trip to Mackinac Island, explore Petoskey and Harbor Srings nearby and have some nights in by the fire. We especially enjoyed all the available firewood and the kids loved exploring in the woods. Everything was as described in the listing and we appreciated the spices and oil available for cooking. We would definitely stay again.

We stayed this weekend to break up the dullness of winter. Our kids loved the cabin and the clubhouse. It was such a cozy space to relax. I loved the wood stove! I would recommend to my friends!

A hidden gem—nestled in the woods, yet close to everything. The charming cabin was spotless, well-stocked, and its back wall of windows opened to an enchanted view. The serene river out back—with a dock, kayaks, and fire ring—made it feel like a private retreat. Our visit was part of a brief family reunion getaway with our two sons and daughter-in-law, and Emily was wonderfully responsive, warm, and accommodating. Though brief, our stay was incredibly relaxing—kayaking, sitting by the fire with s'mores (provided!), enjoying the outdoor shower, and sipping morning coffee on the deck while soaking in the calm. We truly didn't want to leave. Highly recommend this gem to anyone seeking comfort and nature in one perfect spot.

We spent the weekend here for our honeymoon and it was wonderful! It was great to escape for a few nights - we loved the private location & all of the amenities with the cabin (record player, dvd player, coffee maker, etc.) as well as the campfire area. This is very close to Torch Lake, as well as only ~45 minutes from Traverse City so there is plenty to do if you are looking to go out. The cabin was cozy & relaxing, so you may just want to stay there the whole time. I would caution future guests to prepare yourselves for the drive in - it’s hidden in a wooded area, so your car may be stuck in the mud or blocked by fallen trees - just be prepared for that. Otherwise, this was the perfect getaway & we can’t wait to return!

This is my second stay, but certainly not my last! Cozy and clean, with all the thoughtful touches! Love sitting on the couch in the morning with a cup of coffee and looking out at the woods behind the cabin. Sunday morning we had a porcupine visit. Nothing threatening, just passing through. Rick is always very responsive, and the cabin is spotlessly clean! Close to Roscommon for South Branch AuSable canoeing/kayaking and also close to Grayling for AuSable Main Branch access. For pit is a treat. Quiet and peaceful retreat and located centrally for river access!

We loved Dave's place! The house was very comfortable and access to the lake was excellent. My family loved being able to fish and play in the lake when we weren't out sight seeing in Traverse City. We had the resort all to ourselves the week we were there, so it was our own private oasis!

Michael was very responsive. He had courtesy to text before coming to the cabin. He has a great personality and very friendly. The cottage was beautiful, clean and peaceful which is what we were looking for . We had such a relaxing time that we are planning for next years trip and staying there. We had cottage 1 and what a beautiful view of the lake. My husband was able to fish with boat provided and enjoyed himself.. Overall wonderful experience. Thank you Michael.

The Cabin was exactly as advertised, a peaceful retreat in a quiet area with a cool hippie vibe. I loved the old General Electric appliances and the atmosphere of the entire property! Annie was very proactive in letting us know to reach out if we needed any thing. We were able to relax and enjoy the serene nature of the property. We were also within a 30-45 minute drive of everything we wanted to do. I would recommend checking out lavender hill farms which is close by the area! Thank you Annie and Jeff for allowing us to stay at the peace retreat and enjoy a restful weekend!

Such a beautiful stay! My husband and I stayed at Kathy’s place with our 2 kids and we had the best time! So much to see and do in Traverse City and then coming back to relax on the beautiful dock and porch was perfect! The chair in the dock gave the best naps and we loved exploring the lake with the pontoon boat! We had everything we needed in the cozy cabin and Kathy was very responsive and helpful! We can’t wait to come back!

This was exactly what we needed for our anniversary!! Some peace and quiet, break from electronics, and BEAUTIFUL surroundings!! Can’t wait to come back!

The condo was clean, cozy and in a perfect location to enjoy all that Boyne mountain resort had to offer. It was only a short walk across the parking lot to the Boyneland lift which made it so easy to go back for food, dry gloves or a short rest. We would definitely stay here again!

My family enjoyed the peace and beauty, especially sitting by the river. The house was very charming and the window seat was absolutely lovely! Great location to take an easy day trip to Traverse City.

Amy’s cabin was perfect for our stay! It was super cute, private, and conveniently close to Boyne. The location made it easy to enjoy everything the area has to offer while still feeling like a cozy getaway. Even when we ran into a small issue, Amy responded instantly and helped us resolve it right away. Her attentiveness and hospitality made our stay even better. We would definitely stay here again!

Incredible cabin, location, and wonderful hosts. Our overall experience at the Cozy Cabin was remarkable. Roy was great. The location was so peaceful and heavenly. we absolutely loved everything about our stay. We hope we to stay here again! Thank you!
