House holiday rentals in Boyne City

Makayla’s place is gorgeous and she’s a wonderful host. The place could have had less (cute) decorations for those traveling with young kids. We hid most of them but missed one or two that eventually became casualties of the 3 year old. But Makayla handled it with grace. And was so kind in her exchanges going so far as to mail back the toddler’s favorite PJs and stuffy.

We had a wonderful stay at Richard's condominium! The condo is apart of a larger resort, Shanty Creek, and with the passes that were left for us to use, we were never bored! We explored the Lakeview Hotel and pool amenities there, the private beach, and the Shuss Mountain resort as well. This was especially nice for the 12 year old we had with us. There was a couple staying next to us (not under Richard's purview), who had loud dogs who would not stop barking but after messaging Richard, we heard them very rarely and then not at all, so we really appreciated the timely response we had from him and the action he took by informing the HOA for that condo. The little touches here and there were also really appreciated, like the fan/lightbulb fan charm cords so we knew which cord was for the light and which was for the fan. We plan on coming back for sure! Highly recommended place for people of all ages to enjoy.

The cabin was even better than expected! Nicole responded to every question that I had within 10 minutes. This was the perfect place for a kid free getaway and I think it would be just as fun in the winter as the summer. The location was perfect for visiting other cities if you want to travel around. We went to Petosky and Boyne city and visited Northern Michigan speedway on Saturday night. We will definitely be back!

Liana and her place are amazing! She is the best host you could ever hope for. She’s so nice, quick responses, very accommodating and welcoming! Her home is wonderful! Plenty of space and things to do. Very peaceful area too. Would highly recommend both her home and her as the perfect host!

This was probably the best AirBnB I’ve stayed in to date. The cleanliness was near pristine, it had anything you could possibly need (the water station was a lifesaver!! And so thoughtful too). She provided multiple recommendations of activities to do nearby with my family, places to eat, and great instructions for being able to use the amenities within the community. Not to mention the home was beautiful. It was perfect for a getaway and I would absolutely consider booking again if I were ever in the area. We didn’t have a dog with us, but I love that they also had a large dog kennel on site for those that do bring a dog. Overall, a wonderful stay and experience!

We have stayed at Timber Valley multiple times as a family and it is always a yearly highlight getaway for us. Kristi's place is very cozy and inviting especially being surrounded by the woods and nature. The house is the perfect size for our family of six and we have even had additional family stay with is in the past with more than enough room to accommodate our needs. Kristi is always responsive and helpful with any questions or concerns that come up. You can't go wrong with a stay at Timber Valley!

We loved this place. Just like home away from home. Great location. All of the amenities that we needed. Lots to do. Great restaurants nearby and sights to see are a day trip away.

We absolutely loved our stay at Riverhead Rentals. We had family up from Texas and wanted them to experience a quaint Michigan lake town. The house was close to everything in Boyne City and being walkable was just perfect. The house itself was spotless and tastefully decorated, with the perfect kitchen for entertaining. We enjoyed time out on the deck and playing games that came with the house. We had the good fortune of meeting the owners, Michelle and Chris, and they are as lovely as their home! We will definitely return and book this lovely home again.

Great place kids loved the space and it was close to everything we wanted to do def would visit again

Great location within 5 minutes walking distance of coffee shops and the downtown area. The home was cozy and very clean which we appreciated. We traveled with 2 kids under 5 and 2 small dogs and had more than enough space. There was some construction going on down the street during our stay, but it didn’t cause any issues for us with noise. It was a quiet neighborhood otherwise.

The cabin was cozy and had great views. Parking is a bit limited if you have more than one vehicle but we made it work. Robert was great at responding to all my questions. There was also plenty of staples like salt, pepper, toilet paper, paper towel etc. I would definitely rent this place again.

Well appointed place with comfortable furniture and all the necessary accessories. Clean and well decorated. It was obvious the owner had or has cats at one point. Hair was found throughout the house and we are highly allergic causing a very uncomfortable stay. Additionally, it wasn’t clear in the description this place is attached to a private business that shares the same house.

One of my favorite Airbnbs I’ve stayed at. Clean and cozy home with a beautiful view and right next to everything in Boyne City. I felt right at home being there and I enjoyed every second being there!

We loved our stay! Robert was super responsive and helpful, even assisting with an early check-in which was so appreciated. The home was so conveniently located as well, but still felt peaceful and secluded. 100% recommend!

We had a wonderful stay at Tonya’s cozy cottage—it was the perfect blend of comfort and charm. The views of the lake were beautiful, and sipping coffee on the covered porch each morning while staring out at the water was a highlight of our trip. Inside, the cottage was warm and inviting. My kids were obsessed with the spiral staircase (definitely their favorite feature), though parents of little ones might want to keep an eye out—it’s whimsical but my kids wanted to use it as a jungle gym. The beds seemed to be three full-size ones, which were comfy, but posed a slight challenge when all of our kids wanted to pile into one bed with us like cuddly little barnacles. Tonya was a thoughtful and responsive host, and we’d happily return for another peaceful getaway!

You certainly won't regret renting the place. I'll start with the cons. I feel both are very minor things. One, the owner hires a cleaner and even though the place was overall extremely clean, the cleaner hadn't cleaned the microwave, vacuumed the living room rug or wiped down the dining table. It's important to note this is at no fault of the owner. The cleaning lady just needs to do better in that area. Everything else was spotless in this pretty big cabin. Lastly, the hot tub doesn't get incredibly hot. It's warm. That won't be a problem when it's hot out and the sun is out but after the sun went down it didn't keep you warm. The pros (there are too many). Lol. Big Cabin, everything was top of the line from furniture, towels, appliances, etc. Every appliance you need is there. 4 bathrooms total. Very quiet, very private. But the biggest flex is the owner. His responsiveness was amazing and you really get a good Godly vibe from him. He was very apologetic about the cleaning issue

Great stay for the weekend. Peaceful and beautiful view of the lake. We seen bald eagles and caught fish off the dock. We would love a place like this to spend weekends away. Definitely would stay there again.

This was a sisters getaway..Pam’s beach cottage was such a pleasure!! Very clean and organized..decorated so nice .. Everywhere we wanted to visit was within a few minutes to a couple hours ..very easy driving!! I would recommend Pam’s cottage ..it is a different kind of layout and the bed in the loft you do have to climb a ladder..but we managed all and so glad we did !! Very nice area..I think you will enjoy as we did ..Pam is a really a wonderful host and if anything is needed she always answered!! Highly recommend..thanks again!!!

Absolutely fantastic! Our recent Airbnb stay was everything we hoped for and more. From the moment we checked in, the process was easy and a breeze. The place was squeaky clean and spotless upon arrival, which immediately put us at ease. We really appreciated the nice touches like the provided amenities, and the fireplace added such a cozy ambiance to our evenings. The privacy of the location was also a huge plus. We truly felt like we had a peaceful and relaxing retreat. We'll most definitely book this place again the next time we're in the area!

This place was absolutely gorgeous and perfect for our ski getaway. There was an issue with the heat the first night, but Adam responded and it was fixed fairly quickly. He also offered us different options for support from the problem.
