Cottage holiday rentals in Bowral

We loved this beach holiday, so much so that our dog refused to get in the car to come home! It was exactly what we needed. A very quiet town, right on the water. We would love to go back and hope to do so. Such a gem of a location, this should be a “Rare Find” AirBnB, it truly was magical.

The cottage is lovely facing a paddock of horses and cows. We loved being so close to nature. The interior was warm and full of character. We loved loved our stay. We came for winery tours and wine tastings famous in the local area. And in the evening enjoyed warming up in the outdoor jacuzzi that Sam kindly made up for us with a fire. Highly recommend this experience.

Our only negative about our stay is that we didn't choose to stay longer. Banksia Park cottages in Kangaoo Valley are located in a truly magical place. Beautifully scenic and serene and totally surrounded by nature. We sparked up the fire pit as soon as we got there and had it going until we went to sleep. Everything was great

We very much enjoyed our stay at Sandra's place. The outdoor bath was awesome, still super private but you can hear the waves which was really lovely. I did a lot of cooking and the kitchen was well equipped to facilitate this. There were lots of areas to chill and relax which was great. The neighbourhood was very quiet which made for a serene stay.

We had such a lovely weekend. 2 families with 2 kids and 3 dogs. place was loved by all. Kayaks for guests to use, we took our paddleboards, great spot for fishing, private jetty. Grassed area with shared BBQs and an enclosed balcony to keep dogs and kids contained. Very relaxing and peaceful. Definitely recommend

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Byres, such a peaceful rural location, rolling green hills the sound of the cows and yet only 9 mins to Berry and 7 mins to Shoalhaven. The house was well equipped, we made great use of the outdoor spa and the coffee machine, glad that the rooms had fans and the master had aircon, comfy beds. Loved it all! Would definitely recommend this property and we hope to book again in the future.

Absolutely beautiful cottage set amongst some of the most beautiful gardens and trees, amazing spa hotub and the cosiest fireplace on cool nights. Highly recommend.

We throughly enjoyed our stay here! It was the perfect quiet romantic weekend getaway for my husband and I. We saw kangaroos in our backyard everyday and saw some beautiful birds as well. The cottage was adorable and extremely cozy! We would absolutely stay here again and can’t wait to come back.

We had a great weekend at Luke’s house, it was a great location with a short easy walk to a beautiful beach. The house had all we could ask for BBQ, fire pit, outdoor eating area and great views. Beds were comfortable with plenty of sleeping options and all the appliances imaginable. Luke was quick with his communication and gave us a very generous late check out . Highly recommended.

Charming little cottage set only 5 minutes from beach side town of Huskisson. Loved the farm-feel to the home - lots of green space for our pup to run around in and for us to explore. Hosts keep a tidy and functional space that we would absolutely recommend

We had a lovely stay at Knoxberry Farm with our 4 yo. Location is excellent, lovely outlook from the large windows and deck to trees and field beyond and just a few minutes drive in to town. We went for scenic runs along the quiet road. The cottage is compact, we loved the big beds and hotel bedding, very comfortable. We did all our cooking on the bbq on the covered deck in sunshine or torrential rain, great setup with a fire pit in the garden as well.

What a wonderful place! Wheelchair accessible, very quiet, rural vista and within easy reach of towns and activities. Our last stay at Mungo Lodge in February was just as good. Looking forward to our next booking.

We loved our 3 night stay. Beautiful and comfortable, it had everything we needed. Our cavoodle loved rxploring the grounds and felt right at home. The welcoming bottle of wine & coffee pods for the coffee machine were a nice touch. We'd love to come back and stay again sometime.

We love the peaceful surroundings and the green rolling hills at this wonderful cottage- it's our 3rd year in a row and we look forward to next year already :)

A group of us had a lovely stay at Theresa's place, from the home made cupcakes to the thorough instructions, we really appreciated the effort put into hosting us. The place is exactly what you'd expect from the picture of the house in the rolling hills, thanks Theresa!

We had the best time at Ken’s place. Photos do not do it justice, the cabin is stunning and the property is beautiful. We booked last minute and Ken was super responsive, kind and flexible. I noted in my messages that we were so excited for the fireplace as it has been cold, when we arrived, the fire was preset for us and the cabin was nice and warm. There was hay we could feed the horses, the kids really loved that experience and the cabin is well equipped. The bath is really luxurious and deeper than normal, perfect spot for a glass of wine and some relaxing. We already have plans for a longer trip to Berry to return to Ken’s place. The location is great too, only about 1km from the centre of Berry but so quiet and expansive that you wouldn’t know. Overall, this is one of the nicest AirBNBs I have ever booked. We will be back.

Bigger and better than the pictures! entertainers delight, it was the perfect spot for myself and a group of friends for my 35th Birthday. 10 minute drive into Berry which was great, but we just loved our time at the house. so relaxing and the house and property was stunning!

We spent three nights at Bombora Beach House, and it was a wonderful experience. As soon as you enter the house, you feel right at home. The space is warm and cozy, filled with thoughtful details and everything you need for your getaway. The house is just minutes from the beach and within walking distance of the town's restaurants and shops. Cathy was incredibly friendly and helpful from the very beginning. She even provided us with a local guide featuring her favorite dining options and activities in the area, which was extremely useful for planning our days in Huskisson. Thank you, Cathy! It has been lovely to discover Huskisson and stay at your place!

We stayed at Caitlin & Michael’s cabin for our honeymoon and absolutely loved it. The space was comfortable and well laid out, with a cosy bedroom, large luxurious bathroom, and a kitchen and living area that felt like home. The wood fire was a real highlight and we appreciated the generous supply of firewood, kindling, and matches. Their local food recommendations were incredible—we followed every one and had no regrets. We also enjoyed cooking in the well-equipped kitchen and using the BBQ. The peaceful location was stunning, with no nearby noise and beautiful local wildlife all around. Whether it was sunny or rainy, the cabin was the perfect place to relax and unwind. We’re already planning to return. Thank you, Caitlin & Michael, for an unforgettable stay!

The cottage and its gardens were beautiful. We had a very comfortable stay and would definitely recommend to others. Glenn was very helpful, and the muffins were a lovely touch.

Had the best time at Canyonleigh. Tranquil location, gorgeous animals and access to a river. The place itself was very well equipped, clean and tidy. The best part about the entire stay however was Mel. She was extremely responsive and available for all of our queries. She offered a farm experience to us in the morning. When we needed honey, cinnamon and extra towels she was quick to provide. Furthermore we needed a ride into Bowral and she not only offered to give us one, but gave as quite an informed and impassioned tour of the area. We had the best time and would love to revisit again. Our cup feels very full now and I am really grateful!

Lil's Cottage is a fabulous place to stay - on a quiet street yet very close to restaurants and boutiques etc. I loved that the cottage is quite old yet is beautifully maintained and furnished inside with all mod cons. The kitchen is well provisioned with everything we needed, even books and games for children (and there is an incredible playground just up the road!). A shame we did not get to stay longer to use the lovely outside deck. I would highly recommend this place, and Sarah & Craig as hosts. They responded very quickly and were very obliging and flexible. And of course Berry is a beautiful town and a close drive to South Coast gems like Gerroa and Shoalhaven.
