What a wonderful spot to get away! Truly beautiful views and if you like to hear the birds, this a must stay. Very quiet for sleeping. Lots of space for us to spread out in the large kitchen area and the outside covered patio. Conveniently located near Perigueux, 15 minutes to most services. Please note: There are steep stairs to the upper level and you walk through one bedroom with an ensuite bathroom to get to the third bedroom. Second bathroom on upper floor. Worked just fine for our family. Lots of lovely paths for walking. Laura and her family are lovely. Definitely recommend.

We had a wonderful stay. It really is the perfect location for exploring St Emilion. Sophie was a brilliant host and made us feel very welcome. The accommodation is well equipped, private and in a stunning location - we couldn’t have been happier with our stay.

Exceptional welcome offered by Gérald, with very good suggestions for activities and places to eat. The trailer is equipped, clean, and well furnished. The garden is large, and various activities are available, such as petanque, table tennis, and a jacuzzi. We thank our host once again for these few days.

We have just had the most amazing stay here! The house and grounds are stunning with amazing views. The house is very close to Bergerac but is very private in the countryside with vast grounds. We had such a peaceful and relaxing break. Jil was a wonderful host, so responsive and helpful. She sent great instructions for our arrival, lots of recommendations and also came over on the evening of our arrival to make sure we were comfortable and to explain things around the house, which was appreciated. Would love to stay again and will be recommending to friends and family!

We had a great time in the heart of Dordogne. The place is beautiful, overlooking the surrounding woods, the place is quiet and peaceful, if you like tranquility this place is for you. Heated pool and outdoor facilities really very good, being sick as well as my mom, we enjoyed it! The accommodation is functional and very well-equipped, the owners and Jessyca were very responsive to our questions and are present for any concern, very understanding and kind, we thank them 😊

We were met by his beautiful dogs on arrival making us feeling immediately welcome, followed by Gideon who welcomed us like we were part of the family. Gideon and his wife couldn’t have done enough, always being around for a chat, or just for a quick wave and smile. This truly is the most peaceful and beautiful setting to escape the reality of city life. The house its self was beautiful with vaulted ceilings and exposed original brick, they have got the perfect balance of rustics and contemporary. We couldn’t fault a thing and whoever gets to stay here next, is sure to love it just as much as we did!

It’s difficult to describe how special this place is! Situated on a beautiful property, the apartment is accessed through a gate into a courtyard and feels very private. (The place does share the courtyard with two other rental units, which were empty when we were there but it might have felt less private had they been occupied.) A converted barn, the apartment is cozy and unique with beautiful, thoughtful touches throughout. We enjoyed the wood burning fireplace and cooking in the well-appointed kitchen was a pleasure. Hosts are wonderful - warm and welcoming, and available and helpful without being intrusive. They even offered to bake us a savory pie on arrival and happily donated some butter to make our daughter’s birthday cake as the nearby shops were closed. We would love to come back one day and be able to swim and spend more time outdoors - as it was, our daughter loved exploring the yard and woods, filled with delightful surprises. A gem!

We were welcomed as friends and then left to settle in and soak up the surroundings, which are just sublime. The lake and surrounding landscaping are a huge credit to Guy and Christina, just beautiful. I was helped, a lot, by Guy in my angling efforts. I managed a huge catfish which he put me onto, a memorable experience. The carp I caught, all in the mid to high twenties, were all in good condition and were returned in the same state. We would love to return next year, if time and health allow, but if not, a massive thank you to Christina and Guy for making us so welcome, your restaurant is brilliant too! Very pleasant welcome from Anne. Very nice accommodation, well-equipped. Very nice bathroom. The beds are neither too firm nor too soft.

Very nice accommodation with very neat and refined decor, very well equipped, with lots of charm, very comfortable; we stayed there around mid-February and it was quite cool on the ground floor despite the heating, which was not the case on the upper floors; the stove is welcome and very nice but it is not necessarily enough to heat, or not immediately; we therefore highly recommend it but you have to plan to cover yourself in winter even if the accommodation offers plaids for those who are sensitive to the cold; we also enjoyed Bridget's little hello on our arrival, the bottle of wine and the cake! Not much to say about this very nice place, go there without a second thought.

We had a memorable week at this stunning Dordogne home. We felt looked after in every way, the house is really beautiful filled with quality appliances, linen, towels and stylish interior design. The garden was full of flowers, the setting is magical we absolutely loved the outside dining, the breakfast room and the well equipped kitchen. Views, hot air balloons drifting by and a walk to the chateau up above us was amazing. Highly recommend Sandrine and Franck have created a home away from home. Would love to go back. Thanks to our hosts.

Jeanine was a fantastic host, responded to all our queries in lots of detail and was flexible with our check out due to a late flight home. The accommodation is in a beautiful location, very rural and peaceful. Worth having a car to get around.
