The accommodation is simply magnificent. It is in the middle of nature, very quiet and very close to nature. You can hear the birds, the water. It is simply a magical place and perfect for arriving at yourself or enjoying the peace. I loved to meditate or do yoga by the water. I would come back anytime. Thanks so much for the nice days.

We loved our stay, where we could enjoy the tranquility of the space, the surrounding nature, the leisure facilities, and to punctuate these wonderful days spent with the family, the hospitality and authenticity of the hosts, which allowed us to differentiate this experience from others of the genre. Tiago did more than expected. From welcoming cake, unexpected wine tour and requests answered immediately. When we panicked about the fires, he calmed us. This Airbnb is a haven of tranquility. Fresh fruit from trees!!! Vale da Cambra unspeakable beauty and hospitality. Not a lot of English speaking, but at the end we got what we wanted.

Beautiful, remote area! The house does have neighbors right next door that are always visible, so you are always seen when on patio deck or using jacuzzi (not too private). We didn't mind too much, but some people may care about lack of privacy. We would have liked to enjoy morning coffee on the deck, but neighbor ran a tractor and wood chopping saw next to the deck for hours each day, so it was impossible to use deck and enjoy any silence or nature sounds. Kitchen needs to have pots and pans that are compatible with with the induction stove. We did find one that worked, but the others were incompatible. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and the region is gorgeous for nature lovers!

We are always very well received at Luís in Vilarinho. Warm and friendly welcome. The house is very clean and comfortable. The place is peaceful in the middle of nature. Many activities nearby.

Maybe not for everyone but us we experienced the house and surroundings as a little paradise. The house has character and the whole lot around it is beautiful. It is quiet and has lots of space. The pool is real pool, and not an enlarged sort of bath tub. A beautiful view is included. The house is well equipped, everything worked well. The shoreline is a 40+ minute drive and worthwhile visiting. One can walk kilometers on the wooden board walk or bike along. Even to Porto along the shore which is really not far away. It passes Afurada………… you may want to plan a stop there for excellent sea food at a very reasonable price Hiking trails are in the area. Do some smart shopping for groceries and the like at a supermarket, we did not find anything close by. Maybe a minus for some, if you like to go out and enjoy night life nearby, that is a no-go.

Super flirty place to visit as a couple . Very cozy, cuckoo and taking care of every last detail . Super clean . With all kinds of details to make a great stay. Wonderful views of the river . It has all kinds of utensils in the kitchen and other rooms of the house . Very comfortable. We visited Ribadavia with our pet who really enjoyed the huge plot of the house . Ribadavia is beautiful , a medieval corner worth visiting . Finally , our host , Victorio , attentive at all times for us to enjoy our holidays. A super host and their place highly recommended . We felt very comfortable. The house is simple but functional. The garden and pool are great. Bernardo was always easy to reach and took good care of everything.

Gabriela was a lovely host. She checked in regularly with us and was super friendly. We had the best time in the perfect little hideaway. The nature is beautiful, the house is super nice and the Pool was perfect for hot summer days.

We arrived at a simple beautiful unit, a quiet, clean place, lots of plants and a flap that gives a peaceful, calm and comfortable atmosphere, there is a common complex where there is a mini consumer, ping pong and snooker table, swings, hammocks, pool, and a mini ball court. Ana is very friendly and nice made us feel at home and good, helped us with recommendations and made sure to hear that everything was fine and we didn't miss anything. It was simply the best experience of our trip. Highly recommend! Great experience.

This is a great place. We all loved it. Rustic on the outside and like a home magazine on the inside. Beautiful area of the world. Would go back.

We had a lovely stay at Joana’s cottage. It is in a peaceful and private setting with great views, and yet handy for lots of different places to visit and things to do. We walked in the hills, went to the beach, and wandered around lovely small cities and little villages; all within easy reach. The cottage itself is really comfortable, super clean, has great amenities and tasteful decor. Would thoroughly recommend as a wonderful base for visiting a beautiful part of North Portugal.

We received a very warm welcome from Bartolo. Interesting, old apartment, part of a much larger farmhouse building. Antique furnishings and high ceilings give this Airbnb a very quaint feel, like going back in time. Plenty of blankets and hot water bottles for the unseasonable chilly nights on our arrival. We loved the ambience, the creative renovations which were being carried out whilst we were there, didn’t hinder our stay in any way. Beautiful views, animals in the grounds, wonderful kind people, made our trip very special. We took the train into glorious old Porto from Mindelo, leaving our hire car nearby. Do walk along the boardwalk in the nature reserve on the coast nearby. Characterful old villages and towns nearby for coffees and meals out. The Romantico drive along the Douro is a must, choose a dry day for the glorious views. We toured the old city and loved both sides of the river. Lots of musicians play there, it was a pleasure to lunch, listen and relax.

A most beautiful traditional house, thoroughly modernised, nestled above the Miño River dam. Such generosity of spirit in the facilities offered. Hosts Lourdes and Julio even made a dash to the Information bureau on a Sunday morning to make sure we were set for our stay. They have wonderful resources about the best places to see and eat in the Ribeiro. Neighbours are delightful and the neighbourhood safe and secure. Community ovations are fast and easy; you will be sad to leave.
