Sam was an excellent host! She caters for every need and is very warm and welcoming. The treetops has everything you need, was very clean and tidy and the hot tub was a bonus. We will definitely love to come back and highly recommend it to everyone! Would give 10 stars if we could.

Fabulous location, Firle is lovely, great walks, super pub The Ram, and very close to Glyndebourne where we spend Sunday at the opera.

Barry's place for perfect for our night before le shuttle. It has everything we needed and was so nice to have eggs, bacon, cereal and milk supplied as we couldn't take some of things with us to France. thanks so much.

The accommodation was wonderful and very comfortable. Excellent quality bedding, towels and furniture. We (pregnant lady, husband and elderly mother) instantly felt relaxed and enjoyed our stay very much. There were thoughtful touches throughout like good quality toiletries, (organic!) milk, tea and biscuits, etc. The terrace and garden were also a real treat. Care, generosity and attention to detail was evident. One of the best places we stayed during our three week trip in the UK. Claire gave clear instructions and was very responsive. Thank you, Claire! We look forward to returning one day.

Peaceful location and gardens, v cosy little place. We enjoyed relaxing in the garden, visiting the village and nearby areas; the reservoir, Sissinghurst and Hastings. James and Sarah were very responsive to our questions and requests.

I have stayed with Elizabeth several times before and as always she is a welcoming host, any little problems and she is quick to deal with them. The property is quirky, with slopping roof, kitchen has a combination cooker and airfryer. Fresh eggs are supplied from the free range chickens and ducks. It is in the countryside and at places the roads are single carriage way with passing places, so no rally racing.

I really loved my short stay at The Outbuilding. It’s beautifully decorated, the space is so well curated and an interior dream (just my cup of tea!) and overall the space has been really thoughtfully designed and very comfortable. Amy was lovely and super friendly, as was Jago (the most beautiful floof who just wanted to hang out!). I loved that my little dog was so welcomed and having use of the garden was so appreciated. I felt very comfortable there. Rye is a 10min drive, Camber just 17mins and the little tea room in Appledore does a great sausage sandwich (and just a few paces away). Really nice and friendly staff there. I’d definitely stay again and highly recommend!

It’s all been said before but… it was beautifully presented (top quality fittings, furniture etc), everything thought through for convenience and leisure… it’s like walking through the door to a warm hug! Also the bathroom is luxurious - have stayed in a few nice hotels but never had a roll-top bath ‘experience’ as good as here! The little outdoor area is an absolute haven and looks onto beautiful rolling fields (view that can also be enjoyed from the sofa if it’s drizzly). We were visiting family but I would have been happy to have spent a more time at the property relaxing with a good book etc. Can’t recommend highly enough - Joanna works very hard, but makes it look easy by being so relaxed and welcoming in her manner.

Stayed before, will stay again. A lovely little apartment within a 10 min walk to the local beach and some lovely views. Apartment spotless, well laid out and has a lovely courtyard to enjoy the sun and cool evenings.

Our visit was all too brief to this lovely B&B. It was a delight to arrive at the spotlessly clean , pretty cottage in such a peaceful setting. Caroline is a charming host and was especially helpful in communicating prior to our visit. Thank you. Hopefully we will return!!

Set in a lovely village, Appledore. This place is a great nights stay for anyone looking for a trip to Rye, Gusbourne vineyard or Port Lympe reserve. The studio is exactly per the pictures, very clean and the host was friendly. There is a small shop, coffee shop and pub all within a minutes walk. Would recommend this for a night away. Comfortable bed and good shower.

I was working on the Isle of Sheppey and was looking for somewhere to stay rather than a hotel room. Mark's place was great, really easy to reach and everywhere was within a short drive away. It was really quiet and comfortable, a great place to relax after work.

I had a lovely stay here over the weekend with friends! It was a relaxing evening before the wedding. The place was very clean, and the host was responsive and accommodating. I highly recommend it. Thank you! 😊

It was our first holiday with our baby girl and we all loved it. She enjoyed it so much and was so happy watching the ducks ( by the way we named all of them) and enjoying the view. Charlie was amazing, responded quickly and respectfully and we had total privacy. You can find everything you need there and feels like home. We will be back again. Thank you

Claire was a lovely host. She was kind and helpful and responsive to contacts made. The Nest is a really peaceful location surrounded by greenery and birdsong. Good kitchen and bathroom and lovely outside space. East Hoathly has a great little pub - very friendly landlord/lady and a wee coffee shop with excellent coffee!

Great accommodation, all on one level, in a friendly village. Avril & Paul left us to ourselves but readily engaged when approached. Beautiful setting with lovely garden, view of the Southern Downs easy, short walk to village store to buy bread, cereal, milk and banana for breakfast.

We had a wonderful stay & were made to feel welcome & comfortable. Bread, milk, granola & marmalade were lovely touches. Lovely furnishes, kitchen & bathroom. Our 2 dogs were very welcome aswell, stunning walks as soon as you open the stable style door, fantastic scenery & farm land. We visited the Rose & Crown twice for yummy food with excellent service & dog friendly. For us this was the perfect stay, thank you xx

Eve was a lovely host and her cottage was exactly what we needed for our New Year getaway. The fireplace and heaters ensured it was always cozy, and the property was located a stone’s throw from the beaches and train station too. We would 100% come back and stay again. Thank you to Eve and her adorable dog Moon!

The lodge was excellent, really spacious and had a lovely rustic feel. The kitchen was very well equipped and the little welcome pack was appreciated. The bedrooms were large and the beds very comfortable. The location by the side of the owners property was very nice - in amongst the trees, with gorgeous views of the lake and there was plenty of garden to enjoy in the sunshine. Moreover though it was access to the lake that made the weekend. We enjoyed wild swimming, the kayaks and yoga by the lake. It's a really beautiful spot and less than ten minutes to the beach too. Shawn was a lovely host too. I would highly recommend this place. We went with another couple but we'd love to return with the children.

Our stay at Badger's Oast was perfect. The apartment was very comfortable, quiet and right in the middle of a glorious part of the country. Helbecia was an excellent host and we absolutely would recommend this as a place to stay.

The location of this beautiful listing is idyllic. I was only here for one evening while away for work, I was made to feel at home immediately by the farm dog (Ash). You’ll tire out far before he does while playing fetch. The peace and tranquility of the farm is so pleasant to be around. I was fortunate to have good weather and enjoyed a long cycle around the county. The farm eggs were very welcomed and I purchased more to support local. If you find yourself in the area, you’ll struggle immensely to find something more beautiful and well valued. I’ll certainly be back in the future.

Our second stay at Sunflower Cottage. As before everything was perfect. We enjoyed sitting out on the patio to have our breakfast looking out onto Philippa’s beautiful garden. We will certainly be back to stay again when visiting our family who live close by.
