This was our second time at Phils, first time to celebrate my 70th second time for my husbands 75th. When I asked my family where they wanted to celebrate my husbands 75th birthday it was Phils place. Its perfect for our multi-generational family, amples of space and the pool and hot tub are the icing on the cake. We all had the best time and we made lots of memories. Thank you Phil for the use of your lovely home.

Had a long weekend here for my partners birthday. The home was amazing and Angela and the team put lovely finishing touches to the house for us and such a short walk into the middle of Holmfirth, we definitely plan on coming back again and would definitely recommend there is so much to do within such a short radius Thank you again

The property and the location was absolutely amazing , me and my friends have made some amazing memories there. The property felt luxurious and there were soo many personalised gifts for us upon arrival which were much appreciated. the host was very responsive whenever we had any questions I would absolutely recommend to anyone who wants a country escape and I know I want to go back in the future.

our stay at staycation cottages in bakewell was lovely. the love nest Lodge was very quaint and well equipped. the bathroom was especially layed out nicely. I enjoyed the access to the football playing area, pool area and the swimming pool. we used the bbq area once and made full use of the boot room for leaflets and information for our stay would definitely return back

Lovely stay, the farm was beautiful and the animal feeding was the highlight of our childrens’ stay. Pool was great, super clean everywhere, and they provided maps of local walks which we utilised too. Couldn’t have asked for much more.

The house was absolutely incredible and excellent value for money. It was in stunning surroundings, the hot tub was amazing and the exclusive booking system for use of the pool was a lovely addition. The house was spotless and full of character and the private garden was also wonderful. The beds were really comfortable and there was just the right balance of charm, space and comfort. We definitely struck gold when booking this gem. Thanks so much for all of your support in making this a trip to remember!

What a wonderful stay at Manor Farm. The house was beautiful, well maintained, extremely spacious and very comfortable. The surrounding countryside was stunning, with great food being served in nearby pubs and plenty of places to visit. Great space for youngsters too, with the wildlife - baby rabbits, sheep and birds and of course the swimming pool and games room, all of which they loved. Thanks to the hosts for their welcome and hospitable atmosphere.

We arrived at Holmfirth afew hours early and had a look around. it’s a beautiful little village with lots of walks at the heart of it. I reached out to Ben to see if we could check in early, not a problem he said with his very prompt response. When we entered the house we were pleasantly surprised on how cute the house was with all amenities you need, especially the kitchen which we used several times. The bed is luxurious in a beautiful room. There is a stream across from the bedroom window, when you go to sleep you can hear it clearly which I personally loved, it actually helped me sleep too. Lots of surrounding walks and lovely restaurants to visit. Nothing seemed too much trouble for Ben, the owner. He offered everything we needed for our perfect little stay. Thanks again. We’ll be back.

This is a lovely terrace house ! Super cosy and warm, really nicely decorated . I absoutely loved the style and vibe of the upstairs - such a Comfy bed - big bath ! There were also little touches like biscuits , coffee machine and sleep spray ! Loved it

We had a great time at Daniel's, a really fun base for a long weekend for some old school gamers. Lovely open plan kitchen diner with a small lounge to socialise in and a really comfy separate lounge too. Really comfy beds and some really character in the gaming rooms. Great host and if we do get the chance we'd definitely return. Hoyland does have some traditional shops, pubs and takeaways but If you're looking for a more bustly lively nearby town, you're probably better venturing closer to Sheffield but if you want to bed in for a couple of days with friends, this place is perfect!

My mum stopped here when her house flooded and she loved it that much ahe has extended her stay. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking to stay in the area.

Oh my goodness. What a gem! We are four school friends who meet up for a weekend together every year. We try a different place each year. Not any more. The cottage is beautiful: brilliantly equipped, stunningly decorated and so luxurious. Amazing garden, hot tub is fabulous. Roger was brilliant-great communication, so helpful on arrival, and on hand should we need anything. This will be our go-to EVERY YEAR from now on. Thank you so much Roger. 😊

We enjoyed Lewis’ property immensely and felt totally relaxed and right at home from the moment we arrived. Lovely place from which to relax and explore the local towns, villages and countryside. Highly recommended.

We had a lovely weekend in Sarah’s beautifully clean and spacious house. The location was perfect for us, being so close to the station and a short walk up the hill into Penistone. Sarah was a great host and made our weekend very relaxing. We would love to come back and stay here again.

Claire's place was fantastic. A true home from home. Everything you could need. Super comfy beds with lots of space. Will definitely stay again when we next visit the area. Thank you very much.

I stayed at Jo's place for 2 nights with a group of friends and it was so lovely. Beautiful accommodation and thoughtful touches by the host to welcome us to our stay. The whole place is presented well and had everything we needed. Great parking, as we managed to fit 5 cars on the driveway. The views from the house are gorgeous too. Conveniently near to a Tesco Express and a short drive to Huddersfield. Would happily return!

Yet anotha amazin stay in the best place in Yorkshire!! Everything was as clean as a whistle, as always the pad did not let us down and an amazing host, be back real soon!!

Absolutely gorgeous property, all the facilities/amenities you could want. Beds are comfy and all the electrical goods are easy to use. Highly recommend this place as a base for exploring Thurnscoe and the surrounding areas. Lovely, green space just opposite with a small park. Short walk into the village. Hosts were really proactive, making sure we had all the instructions to make our stay a smooth and relaxing one.

This was an ideal spot,close to ameneties but very quiet. The bed was lovely and comfortable, the whole place spotless. We highly recommend it.

A beautiful well maintained cottage for two. Very clean and tidy and had everything we needed for our stay. Rosie popped in to introduce herself and deliver a bottle of wine, crisps and chocolate which was lovely as we only had a two night stay! We would certainly book again if we were in the area.
