Holiday rentals with breakfast in Boone County

Kim was wonderful to deal with. I was in town for a Mizzou basketball and football weekend and this place was very conveniently located as to be close-by for that but also far enough away that it was a quiet, peaceful neighborhood. Upon meeting Kim, I felt very comfortable and at home. She was a delight to chat with and allowed me to have a very nice weekend as a result. I would happily stay here again should I be in the area.

Enjoyed our stay at this place. The dogs loved the backyard and it was close to everything we needed. Very cool neighborhood. We had an issue with the shower but they came to fix asap and it was great from then on. Will be back!

We stayed here while attending a State track meet in Jeff City. This was a nice house in a quiet small town. We didn't get to fully utilize the house, but its a great place to go and relax. A nice deck with tables and chairs to sit and enjoy the peaceful outdoors. A nice friendly small town resturant about 2 blocks away. Each room had window air conditioners so everyone could set their own temps. The house is basically a duplex so parking and outdoor seating is shared. It's obvious the host spends a lot of time making the house accommodating to guests. Lots of little convienences around the house like chargers for phones and wall mounted bed reading lamps. We had one small concern and Cameron responded to my messages literally within minutes. We hope to return soon for a relaxing getaway. Just know its a very small town so get your food supplies before you arrive! (although Jeff City is only 15 minutes away).

Really enjoyed our stay. Very clean and nice attention to detail. Close to Columbia and Jeff City which is what we needed but will definitely come back some time to use a base for cycling the Katy Trail.

This place was awesome for my two day solo Katy ride. It had more beds than I needed, but a full well appointed kitchen, perfect for me. Quiet and friendly neighborhood, a block from the trail. The whole town just has a sweet warm energy to it. Having the half bath downstairs is nice, no need to go upstairs until bedtime. Perfection.

Greatest location possible for downtown Columbia!

Linda’s rooms on cherry was a great experience! Each room has its own theme, and I stayed in the Mark Twain room. Linda was a great host, and the location is very close to the university and right in the middle of the college town.

If you are doing stuff downtown, everything is within easy walking distance. Incredible location - now the other side of that is that you do hear downtown life until bar time. It is public parking - we used the garage directly across the street. The rooms are exactly as advertised, and if other people are in the room next door it is a shared bathroom situation - we didn't have to do that. There is a nice little kitchen if you want to cook meals. The host was very friendly and attentive all weekend, even leaving food in the fridge (eggs, juice, bagels, coffee, cake) and just checking in periodically. Our only complaint was a chirping smoke detector, which she attempted to change batteries and find the problem, but it was going to take more time to fix - wasn't that big of a deal to us. The rest of the house does have full time tenants and the AirBnB part is tucked away at the end of one of the hallways - but everyone was very friendly. Would definitely recommend and use again.

We had a great stay here. The place was conveniently located, very clean, and comfortable. The host was communicative and gave several great local recommendations. We will stay here again during future trips.

“Rooms on Cherry” is a popular spot, so glad we were able to snag a weekend during Kappa Sig Moms Weekend! The four bedrooms and common area was perfect for us five moms. Several coffee shops, restaurants and night life attractions were close by so we walked everywhere. Linda has each room decorated beautifully and everything was clean. She had purified water, coffee pods to get us started, tea, half/half, muffins, bagels and cream cheese. Great time, great place!

As an avid airbnb user, I must admit that this is the most luxurious place I've stayed... and without an ounce pretentiousness. Hosts Gary and Randy couldn't have been more welcoming or accommodating. Gary even reached out after the end of a long day to offer conversation, but sadly, I had to decline due to said long day. I look forward to staying in this lil oasis again, and to visit more. These guys are truly lovely humans and offer the kind of comfort a solo traveler appreciates.

Great place to stay! Right off trail, easy walk to downtown.

Great spot along the Katy Trail. Not much of an area to hang out and watch TV, but that did not bother us as we were on the go all weekend. If you want a comfy couch with a big TV, this is not the spot. But, it was awesome and beds were super comfortable.

We have stayed here before and it is such a fun, cozy convenient location for using the Katy Trail or staying in Columbia. It’s fun to do with family since it’s like a giant slumber party. Deck is awesome.
