Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Bonnie Doon

We enjoyed a lovely long weekend by the lake. The cottage was cosy and comfortable and in a great location with a gorgeous view over the water. The kitchen was really well-appointed with plenty of everything we needed to make a meal. The beds were comfy and the shower had great water pressure! It rained most of our stay but we kept warm and dry with the lovely fire and watched DVDs - there were loads to choose from. When the rain cleared it was an easy drive into Mansfield and the hosts left great recommendations for coffee, shopping and meals. We also went for some lakeside walks and tried our hands at fishing - all right out the front of the cottage. Our host was so responsive and friendly offering great recommendations and advice and made check-in and check-out a breeze. Loved our stay. Highly recommend.

Absolutely stunning property with breathtaking views and a great layout inside. Everything worked perfectly with regard to kitchen equipment, heating, hot water, wifi and TV. Sunrise and sunsets are special times to take in the views. It was a quiet getaway by friends to celebrate a birthday. Everyone left with great memories. Thanks 🙏

Andrew and Annemarie's house is wonderful. The house is spotless, has great linen, and ample comfy sofas and space for our two families with young kids. Very large and comfy beds in the main bedrooms and solid bunks in the kids room (plus lots of toys!) The house comes with excellent instructions, fully stocked with all the things that make life so much easier - soap, shampoo, tea, coffee, oil, wood for the fire, etc. Located on the edge of the utterly charming Marysville, it suited our needs perfectly. We walked into town both days and visited the cute local shops, cafes, pub. There are kid-friendly bushwalks close-by and for mountain bike riders obviously Lake Mountain is fantastic - just a quick 20min drive up the hill. We'd love to return for more adventures and cosy nights by the fire. Andrew and Annemarie are very kind, responsive and helpful hosts- thank you Andrew and Annemarie!

Wow! Wow! Wow!!!!! Jamie and Steph’s place is like a scene from Yellow Stone, the place looks amazing 🤩 in the photos, but it’s even better! In real life. The house is situated and designed to have breath taking views no matter where you are in the house, it’s super clean and superbly functionally organised. Jamie and Steph were quick to respond and gave fabulous recommendations for swimming in the area, my family loved the stay and did not want to go home, neither did our dogs, lol, their is a lot of land, our dogs were in dog heaven being able to roam around the large gated area of the home. We plan to visit here every year, it was that good 😌 you won’t know how good until you actually experience it, you won’t regret it, infact, kinda don’t want everyone to go, then you may get my spot😅 but this place needs to be shared. Hope you have a experience to rave about like we did 😉

It was a brilliant stay! The house is much better than in photos and our expectations. Everything was very well equipped, very tastefully decorated and very well thought out. The surrounding area is very beautiful as well, we enjoyed having the horses in our backyard. We highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a peaceful, serene and magical escape.

We had such a wonderful stay at Two Rivers Lodge in Acheron. So quiet, peaceful, homely and relaxing. The property was beautiful inside and out. I think I found my happy place here. My family and I will definitely be returning.

The cottage was the perfect location for a self-catered riding holiday - decent-sized kitchen and Wangaratta, Beechworth and Bright are all ridable from the cottage gate. The rural surrounds make for a picturesque and peaceful location.

Ahhh the serenity. The place was perfect for a long weekend, high on the hill overlooking Yea, but within walking and riding distance of the town below. It was presented perfectly and was one of the best equipped properties we have stayed at.

We were met by Steve who gave us an upgrade to a better room because the first wasn’t ready. We were given free access to the property which is in a lovely setting. We would definitely recommend Debby’s for a relaxing stay.

We had a great stay. The accomodation was cosy and the bed was huge and very comfortable. The outdoor pool area was lovely with a brilliant view over the lake. We also really liked the easy access to Harry’s cafe from the back of the complex, for a morning coffee and croissant.

Very convenient if you’re going skiing to Mt Buller and don’t want to pay 3x the price for a similar apartment in Mt Buller Alpine village. You’re only 25 minutes door to door to the carpark, and a bus takes you from there to the lifts. The apartment is simple and has everything you need. The surroundings are just breathtaking. Very peaceful area.

Place exceeded expectations, was there for work and this place was a wonderful place to clock off go for walks to the beautiful scenery around the lakes of nagambie. Host was friendly gave clear instructions, pool was amazing overlooking the lake 👌🏽 highly recommended.

Very nice secluded place for a short getaway. Cozy and dog friendly. Definitely recommended for those who want short getaway with your fur babies.

Without question, our favourite place we've been in Australia. Absolutely stunning views, a beautiful atmosphere, romantic, quiet, private, comfy and classy accommodation - and moments from amazing winery's and food. The cute goats and other animals are adorable and abundant. Whether you want to gaze at the plentiful stars on a clear ngiht, cosy by the log fires or walk up the hill for some spectacular views - its all there. As for Marty, the host - he's the cherry on top. Friendly, kind and an incredible person. Genuinely, you can't find anything better than this. We had a great few days at this cute little cabin. Our toddler loved feeding the chickens on the property. The fire made it so warm and cosy and Robert had set it up all ready for our arrival which was a nice touch. Everything was clean and comfortable. Perfect for a little country getaway. Loved our stay. Everything matched the description. Beautifully styled and felt right at home. The river at the bottom of the property is spectacular and really adds to the overall charm. Saw local Kangaroos and Deer down by the river. Bed was comfy, heating with the electric heater was ample and plenty of firewood on hand for the Coonarra fire. An easy 20min drive into town. Felixa was really responsive to any questions and helpful. There’s no TV but that’s mentioned in the description. There’s plenty of games etc to keep you occupied. Wi-Fi worked fine.

It really is a magical place, ideal for relaxing and connecting with nature. In addition, it is close to Mount Buller, which is ideal for the snow season. On the other hand, the accommodation is perfect, even much more beautiful than in the photos. I would definitely stay here again and I recommend it 100%.

It was very enjoyable experience and peaceful location and homeowner’s responsiveness is appreciated, It's truly feels like home with all the necessary stuff were there. Christ is a lovely host and has very small house in a very peaceful surroundings. However, Chris was unaware of the booking the place was not ready for us to check in. Though we had to wait for a few hours for the place to be cleaned up, we enjoyed the surroundings and river meanwhile.
