Holiday rentals with breakfast in Bolton District

John was the perfect host, readily available and very helpful. The house was lovely, but what was also unique was all the small added touches John arranged for our arrival like fresh produce in the fridge, full bowl of fruit, large assortment of chocolate, nuts and other items, even new toothbrushes if you needed them along with many other things that you don’t normally expect. House is in a great position, very close to the town centre. Would thoroughly recommend.

Jade was a very helpful host. The area is traditional for the area, lovely nature reserve on back of rear garden for walks. The cottage is just lovely. Warm and cosy. We will definitely return here.

Lovely private annex in pretty, and peaceful surroundings with everything I needed. Great for a two day stop over. It all felt very welcoming, the bread, milk, juice and of course the little bottle of prosecco was also a really nice touch.

Neil's West Derby house was a joy to spend time in.The little back garden was a nice extra. The house is spacious for a 2 - bedroomed cottage, everything was clean, bright and comfortable. Neil had left us some thoughtful treats and breakfast. Communication with Neil was excellent. We didn't get to meet him, but he is clearly a warm and caring host, very responsive to our queries. West Derby village is charming, full of lovely bars, pubs and restaurants. Neil recommended some of his favourites. Croxteth Country park is a short stroll from Neil's place, and provides great walks ( and a cafe) in the middle of the city. Local buses to the city centre are plentiful and frequent. We left the car at Neil's and took the bus ( 12 and 13 are best) to explore the Pier Head. the river Mersey and the new shopping centre , Liverpool 1. A delightful stay. We would choose Neil's house for our next trip. It's a real gem

What a beautiful place. I booked this over a year ago for a group of us attending a wedding locally. We absolutely loved it. It had everything we needed and was only a 10 minute walk into Altrincham. Their home is decorated beautifully, the back garden was perfect for us to relax in and have dinner in the sun, it felt like a real home from home. Frances was a great host and was very helpful and responsive to my many questions. Would highly recommend!

Mike’s place was perfectly described and 100% matched what we needed for a weekend away in Manchester. It was well equipped with everything you could need, and spotlessly clean. Mike was always very quick to respond to any communication and ensure everything was ok. The garden was a lovely space in which to sit and relax. Would highly recommend.

We loved our stay at Gina’s and hope to come back sometime soon. Hebden Bridge is a friendly, charming village - so lovely - and Gina’s place above her fused glass studio is so pretty and filled with light and pops of color. We could walk all over, including in a nearby park and along the river. Thank you, Gina!

Oh my goodness, they had thought of everything!!! Having given us a lovely warm welcome we discovered there was food to get us going in the fridge, the facilities were above and beyond and the setting unbelievably beautiful. The first Airbnb I’ve been to that has toothpicks, postitnotes and binoculars!!

This was a comfy, clean and well furnished place to stay. We appreciated the friendly welcome and café drinks on the house (and a good eclectic mix of records!). Special thanks for being so flexible with checking in, and for not minding our mad dash away. If we're back up in Bury, we'll be sure to stay again! The only thing for others to be aware of is it is located near some pubs/nightclubs that were quite noisy when we stayed on a Saturday night.

If I could give 10 stars, I would! I stayed with my dad for 2 nights for a concert at Anfield Stadium. The location was perfect - a bus stop around the corner, Anfield Stadium up the road, and a pub and chip shop next door! The flat felt like a home away from home, it was very cosy and had everything we needed. We enjoyed the cafe breakfast, and the staff in the cafe were very friendly and accommodating. Helena was always very helpful and lovely to talk to. We could not have asked for a better host!! I'll definitely be staying here again when I visit again and would recommend it to anyone! Richard’s place was just perfect. I was visiting for an emotional event. The memorial to my dad who passed away last year. I was looking for somewhere to stay which had soul and was peaceful and not too far from the university. I loved this place and Richard was so down to Earth and friendly and welcoming. I really felt at home straight away and loved playing records on a record player. Really wanted to stay longer and will be back! Thank you so much Richard for your kindness.

We had the pleasure of staying at John and Dorothy’s wonderful home and were warmly welcomed upon arrival. We were shown to a spacious and beautifully presented room with our own private bathroom, along with access to a comfortable and well-kept reception room. Everything was spotlessly clean, and the bed was exceptionally comfortable—we had a fantastic night’s sleep. The following morning, we were treated to a delicious breakfast featuring fresh strawberries, blueberries, and blackberries, accompanied by yogurt, a generous selection of granola and cereals, as well as toast and a variety of jams. It was a lovely and thoughtful touch that made our stay even more enjoyable. John was a friendly, attentive, and gracious host throughout. Jenny was a great host. Thoughtful and responsive. Great location for an easy walk into Hebden Bridge - right next to the canal towpath. Good public transport links too.

Had a fantastic stay at Pondon Mill this weekend. We were made to feel so welcome, the breakfast was fantastic. We did establish our dog is scared of cats, but as Barbara suggested we just need to get one of our own to train him. We will definitely be returning. Amazing setting, lovely people. Fantastic place to stay with so much history. Thank you for having us!

Ruby is a very helpful host, lots of friendly communication before arrival and during my stay. The location is excellent for visiting the Christie hospital where my husband was having treatment, literally over the road! There is a small Sainsbury's just down the road towards Wythenshawe and other supermarkets within a 20 minute walk in Didsbury. Having off road parking was another big bonus as on road parking can be time limited. The bed was comfortable and I had everything I needed for my stay, including snacks, breakfast cereal, tea and coffee. If I need to stay in this area in the future I will definitely try to book here again!

Helen is a wonderful host and I can’t recommend her enough ! The room is cosy and clean, communication is smooth, and her cat will make you feel at home in no time. Thank you for another lovely stay !

Great place to stay, the whole place is pretty clean, had a very homey vibe, and jack includes a lot of amenities that other places don’t even bother giving. Honestly an amazing place to stay, which the common area on the middle floor it gave almost like a high quality college dorm vibe. 100% would recommend. The only thing to mention is that during the summer the nights can get a little warm due to the lack of AC, but that is not the hosts fault as ACs are not the most common thing in the UK where usually the weather doesn’t get to warm. If I’m every coming back to Manchester, will definitely have this place in mind!

It was a nice stay, in a lovely house. I felt like I'm at home with my privacy even when the house is shared with the owner. The playfull dog I really liked him and I can say that he is a very obidient dog. Regarding Angela I cannot complain at all, because she is always ready to listen and help me, giude me, when she have time obviosly as she have her own busy life.
