Great place for a relaxing weekend getaway. Plenty of parking, also easy commute to Newcastle/Sunderland/Durham.

2Bed Home Whitley Bay Nr Beach&St Marys Lighthouse
Thank you Laura for a superb stay. The caravan was spotlessly clean on arrival. Clear instructions on how to find it, where to park and how to get in. Very friendly communication from host. 10/10 would recommend 😊

Brancepeth
We had a lovely stay - host was very helpful and amenities were exactly as described. Pool and hot tubs were a fantastic addition with easy instructions. Comfy beds and good facilities in the cottage. Thanks for a lovely stay!

Bayview Bliss - Northumberland Retreat. NewBiggin
Love this place, right by the beach, and a beautiful beach too. The host was so responsive and helpful from start to finish. The place was immaculately clean, just as described, lovely and warm with all the utensils and appliances working exactly as they should. Easy to walk to town, with a Co-Op and pubs and restaurants there. Shower pretty good too. Family bathroom and a small but useful en-suite to the main bedroom

Lovely caravan with sea view Sandy Bay
We had a lovely break. The position of the caravan overlooking the sea is one of the best on the site and it had everything we needed. We’d very happily go back for another stay.

Signal House - A Stunning Beach House - 2020 Build
We loved our stay at Signal House. House is absolutely beautiful. It’s in such a lovely location with fantastic views along the coastline. Easy to walk into Amble or along coastal path in both directions. House amazing, spotlessly clean. We hope to come back some time. Thankyou Tracey for a great stay x

Down By The Bay
Lovely stay in Whitley Bay at Claire’s caravan. On the edge of the park closest to the sea so great views of the coast and lighthouse. We were lucky with the sunsets - they were beautiful! Recommended!

Boutique Fisherman’s Cottage - 2 mins from beach
We had not been to the area before but were delighted with the accommodation and with Cullercoats. The cottage was stylish and luxurious, ticking all the boxes for a really comfortable bed, great shower, well-equipped, excellent kitchen and everything you needed for a short stay or a longer one. The upstairs ensuite bedroom had a lovely sea view and was really peaceful. The downstairs double room and separate bathroom were practical as we had family visiting. The neighbourhood was quiet and friendly and the location was superb - the cottage was minutes from the beach, a small supermarket and the Metro. You could walk from the door into Whitley Bay or Tynemouth. The beach was excellent and we swam in the sea. The coastal pathway between Whitley Bay and North Shields with its separate cycle lanes will be a wonderful asset and parts of it are already completed. We settled in really well and very quickly and were a bit sad to leave. Thank you to Vikki.

Hall Yards Cottage
We had a lovely stay at Hall Yard Cottage, the location was in a lovely village, friendly neighbours and great walks on the doorstep. The hosts left some welcome goodies which were much appreciated. The only feedback we have is that it wasn’t mentioned where we could park in the information pack until one of the neighbours told us. The cottage was very clean, dog friendly and we will definitely return.

Cuthbert House - traditional farm workers cottage for 4
Great location. A really cosy country retreat. Very well appointed kitchen...equipped for real cooking! Very responsive hosts before & during our stay. Lots of helpful pre-visit information supplied, especially good places to eat like the Fish Shack at Amble & The Angler's Arms in Weldon - both dog and dog owner friendly!

Glasswing Stays | Newbiggin Beach House
Amazing host and lovely home, clean house with the worlds comfiest beds 👌

Beach house
Amazing little house. Perfect for my work colleague and I to stay in for a long weekend working. Local pubs did good food. Nice walks/runs on the beach.

Coastal Holiday Home
Leslie’s house was ideal for our stay in the NE. The house is in a residential area which is very quiet but you can be straight out to the beach / cliffs or onto the Sluice river towpath within a minute. Absolutely perfect for dog owners and the Kings Arms pub which can be seen from the house is excellent. Lovely walks along the coast to Whitley Bay, Tynemouth, Blyth etc. We would also highly recommend the Castaway coffee house which is also a stones throw from the house. We visited to pick our son up from university in Newcastle so it was really convenient for that too, just half an hour away.

Home from home & outdoor Hot Tub
I was working nights and needed a place that was quiet and near my location of work. I had to change the days at the last minute and Terry was obliging and understanding. Had a brief chat with the neighbours who were also friendly.

Cosy family home .
Ideally situated for the city centre of Newcastle, the attractive coast or the wide open spaces of Northumberland. We had a very enjoyable couple of days exploring the area and then coming home to the welcome of Steve and Viv's comfortable and attractive property.

Water views, log burner, walking, fishing, sailing
Wow what a location and property! We were so excited to arrive and were overjoyed when our high expectations were exceeded! This really is a spot of magic, the views, scenery and local walks are unbeatable and the cottage is truly beautiful inside, with everything you would need for a luxury relaxing stay. We have already talked of when to return. Sunrises from the back garden were spectacular.

Quirky coastal retreat
We were a group of nine and the house was perfect for our needs. We loved the quirky style, it was really well equipped and the kitchen dining area was just perfect for a big gathering. There is a beautiful beach walking distance from the house and easy access to the beautiful Northumberland coast. Wish we could have stayed longer.

Holiday Home in Northumberland with Sea Views
Hi Helen, Thank you for letting us stay at your place, everything was great, we just wish we could have stayed longer. Take care Derek & Kate

Highlights Views, Overlooking Mouth of the Tyne
Had a great stay . House was very clean , bedrooms and bathrooms excellent. View over the mouth of the Tyne really good from the balconies . Would stay again.

The Old Stables
Great accommodation with everything we needed. Andrew, you have a lovely place. Good location - walking distance to local shops, pubs, restaurants and Metro.

Whitley Bay - Coastal Charm - Entire House
Stayed for a weekend to visit family nearby. House is super clean and presented beautifully. Really good location- quiet road but very close to lots of shops and restaurants. Thoroughly recommend as a base when in this area. Thank you

Stunning Home in Backworth Park
Spacious, well-equipped and comfortable house. Close to coast and golf courses.

High Tide, Newbiggin-by-the-Sea
A very good spot for exploring the Northumberland coast and easy to get on the main coastal road or the A1. Newbiggin a fairly quiet place but a nice beach and atmosphere. The house is very spacious and comfortable and very well equipped with everything we needed and a good place to relax after a busy day out and about. Offroad parking at the rear is a little tight and has a bit of a knack to master but plenty of space on street at front if necessary as well. Small enclosed front garden useful for dog. Wider area has a lot of amazing almost empty beaches, many dog friendly even in summer and lots of castles and great restaurants especially for seafood. Altogether would recommend and very good value.
