Cozy cabin on Grindstone Lake with access to Lac Courte Oreilles lake as well. Both are considered pristine for musky and walleye. Sevenwinds Casino and Big Fish Golf Course are minutes away. Downtown Hayward is only 15 minutes. You have access to the community dock and shared frontage to crystal clear Grindstone Lake. The Snowmobile trail runs immediately in front of the cabin. Ice fishing right off our shore produces walleye, crappie and perch. We have a fisherman’s haven just waiting for you!

Enjoy a quiet, relaxing week in the north woods of Hayward, WI! Our 2 bedroom, 2 bath cabin sleeps six comfortably (queen, 2 single beds and a futon). Cabin is two levels and 1500 square ft. The cabin is located on the Namekagon River with direct access to Hayward Lake and the public boat launch just a few hundred feet away. You really get the best of both worlds here as the cabin is tucked away in a private, wooded area but is also walking distance to downtown Hayward and other attractions!!

Perfect place to get away and relax. We loved the little walk down to the dock on the small, private lake. The fire pit was well thought out and stocked with plenty of wood for tons of s’more’s. Ping pong table was great entertainment. We will be back!

Osprey Hideaway: Near Hayward, Kayaks and Beach!

We stayed here for a snowmobile trip. Stacy was very flexible with rescheduling due to lack of snow for our first trip. There was ample parking for two trucks w/ 30ft trailers. The short drive off the black top as well as direct shore access to the lake was a huge plus. We found plenty of bed space as well as room to cook and congregate after we got home for the night. We will definitely be staying again.
