Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Blue Springs

Cottage in the country was just what we needed for our weekend in KC. Great location for Kauffman and Arrowhead games. Lots of options for other entertainment and places to eat. Very nice 3 bedroom 2 bath getaway. Beds and pillows were some of the best.

We enjoyed our stay very much. The home was lovely and beautifully decorated. The beds were very comfortable and we had all the amenities we needed.

We have stayed at this home on several different occasions and it never disappoints! The location is perfect, the house is beautiful and the host always goes above & beyond!

Great place to stay! Felt very homey and everything was clearly labeled with instructions on how to work everything. Christine was also very communicative throughout the stay and opened that door do ask literally anything. Loved the book that she has right in the door with different things to do around the city as well as great spots to eat throughout the day!

Had a great stay! The place was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. We especially enjoyed the BBQ setup — it made the evenings fun and relaxing. The basement was a fantastic bonus space, very cozy and well-kept. Everything was smooth from check-in to checkout. Would definitely recommend and stay again!

Our family all met in KC to celebrate Christmas. The house we originally booked 6 months ago had a plumbing issue and we couldn’t stay there. We had to scramble to find a place for 6 people for 3 nights during Christmas and it was 6:00pm. This place saved the day. The owner quickly responded to our reservation request and we were walking in the door 30 minutes later. It was comfortable for 6 of us and we were able to prepare some meals in the kitchen. Everything was clean and we felt safe walking and running in the area. Made for a great Christmas celebration with our family. Definitely recommend.

We absolutely loved our time at John’s place. Everything was very clean, instructions were clear, and John was very responsive. We would recommend this place to anyone and if we’re back in the area we would love to stay here again. 5 stars!

Mary Graces listing is probably one of the best, if not the best AirBnb I have stayed in. She was very friendly, and responsive. The unit is a FROG or Full Residence over Garage, but had all the amenities of an apartment. Comfortable couch, big television, good AC, stocked kitchen, and comfy bed (on the softer side, but that's what I like). Bathroom was the crown jewel, I'm envious of the shower head, and amazing water pressure, my Son enjoyed taking baths in the deep tub. Mary was very sweet and even sent us local recommendations of things to do. If you're visiting Worlds of Fun, you can't get any closer, don't think twice just book!

The apartment has amazing views of the city. It was a beautiful place to stay and close to the streetcar and all that downtown has to offer. I will definitely stay again next time I am in Kansas City.

Absolutely magical stay! Holly and Leo have created something truly special at their hobbit-themed home. From the moment we arrived, everything felt like a dream. Pie Time was absolutely incredible—worth every bite and every penny. The ice cream shop just down the street was impeccable—smooth, creamy, and full of flavor. And the coffee shop they own? A must-visit. The cappuccino was rich and velvety, and the avocado toast was fresh and delicious. The baristas were so kind, making the whole experience even better. We stayed during our anniversary, and Holly and Leo went out of their way to make it feel truly special. The shower was next level—such a relaxing escape. And sitting outside under the full moon, bathed in its soft light, was peaceful beyond words. This place isn’t just a stay—it’s a memory we’ll never forget. Thank you, Holly and Leo.

The place was amazing and Melissa was helpful and great with communication! The location can’t be beat and the place was clean and inviting. The beds were comfortable and everything was thoughtfully prepared for guests!

We loved our 2 night stay for a wedding in the area. Cute little downtown, comfortable beds, nice bathrooms, plenty of room for our party of 7. I would highly recommend

The house was beautiful! Exactly like pictures and so many extra touches. Beds and linens were comfortable, kitchen was stocked with everything we could need, great WiFi, plenty of parking, easy access to the highway, but also close to a lot of cute local spots! Megan and her team were very helpful and responsive. Great for our long weekend!

Overall it was a good stay. There were a few minor issues like trash left behind on the porch and the couch bed was dirty when pulled out, but Kevin and Ashley were responsive and took care of them quickly. The smell and noise were not anything the hosts could control, it was very definitely other guests in the same building who had weed and were noisy. It was not too bad, just definitely noticeable and more so because I have small children who were trying to sleep. As far as location, it’s right off The Paseo so not an area I’d “take my kids for a walk in” but good in terms of location for the activities we had planned and it was easy to get in and out of.

We were in town for a wedding at The Ridge in Richmond. Everything in Richmond was booked and the bride recommended looking in Excelsior Springs, which was 25 minutes from the venue. not a bad drive at all. Robin's place is in a nice location in the heart of Excelsior Springs. our booking included both units. They were beautifully decorated and had everything we could possibly need. The beds were very comfortable. All of the extra touches were nice. There was ice already made, filtered water, and two bottles of water for us when we arrived. The kitchen was really nice to have. We really enjoyed our stay and wish we could've stayed longer. The pictures don't do it justice. Highly recommend Robin's place of you find yourself in Excelsior Springs or nearby.
