Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Blue Bay, Curaçao

Beautiful beaches nearby, but restaurants and shopping are sparse. Be prepared to drive to get anywhere. However, we really enjoyed getting away from it all as a girls trip. We made use of the hot tub, pool and patio. We felt safe and secure the entire time. The hosts are lovely and helpful. Was able to spot sea turtles from the overlook ...and plenty of fish! The views are absolutely amazing. We enjoyed hanging out in the cave, but did not take use of the SUPs or swimming there. Kitchen had all the essentials to make some meals. Beds are comfy, and we appreciated being able to wash towels and clothes through the week. The neighbors have dogs, which was ok as dog lovers, but we definitely got to know all their names by the end of the week. AC worked great!

We absolutely loved our stay the villa was gorgeous and everything and more that it says online. Attention to detail was amazing. Anything you needed they had it. Being able to walk straight to the beach and have a margarita was amazing if you're thinking of staying here do it.!!

What a lovely house. Super nice outdoor space and within walking distance of the nice swimming pool and beach where you can enter for free with code and use the beach beds. We had a wonderful time with 6 of us. We recommend everyone to book this house. You won't regret it. We want to celebrate holidays here every year.

What a nice stay Casa Sandfort was for our family with 2 children. With a warm welcome by Susana, pleasant and fast communication, good service and help after some questions regarding the bathroom, and a lovely garden with swimming pool, our vacation has succeeded enormously! The location is quite central, a large supermarket nearby and the beach of Blue Bay around the corner! A car is definitely recommended. If we come again, we would like to stay here again!

Utter perfection! The location is amazing, the house and surroundings are beautiful, and Hynrich was easily one of the friendliest hosts we’ve had the pleasure of meeting. The location of the house is in a more secluded area, with sea views in the back (including stairs and a ladder for snorkeling right in your “backyard”) and mountain views in the front. We even saw 3 deer in the neighborhood twice! The house was spotless upon arrival with extra amenities, including a welcome basket with snacks and drinks. Very thoughtful and makes you feel right at home. We were able to talk to Hynrich on a few occasions and he is beyond friendly and helpful! Even though there are neighbors nearby, their houses are set further back making everything feel very private. We spent most evenings grilling, sipping wine while in the pool or on the rooftop deck while watching the amazing sunsets with the soft sounds of reggae wafting through the air. Again, utter perfection and we can’t wait to return!

Everything was great! The hosts were great communicating and checking in on us throughout our stay. They also gave us a ton of reccomendations. The location is amazing for exploring the town and different restaurants/beach clubs. It is within walking distance to a ton of places. Its right in the center of the island as well so its super quick driving to any side of the island etc. The only recommendation I have is to get some good bug spray. You want to leave the doors/windows open for airflow and the mosquito's were really bad when we went (which I have that issue in general, they just eat me up, my husband didn't get bit too badly) but I would reccomend getting some sort of mosquito repellent or bug catcher bags etc. to place in the house. The bedroom has the A/C unit, we were very comfortable sleeping at night. It was a great experience overall!! I would definitely recommend if you're looking for a more local feel/vibe for your stay!

We had an incredible time in Curaçao thanks to this amazing house. The check in went great with Rose’s husband, very kind and helpful. Both were very easy in communication and responded very quickly. You will never get tired of the view from the pool. You can easily lose track of time while swimming. All the amenities you need are there. The house was simply wonderful. Thank you so much for the lovely stay!

Beautifully decorated, super functional, squeaky clean apartment centrally located in Curacao. This modern apartment is located within a gated community only a few minutes drive from Willemstad and other central locations. You definitely need a car here but I would suggest that staying anywhere in Curacao. Inside you'll find cozy beach vibe decor, king size bed and comfortable furniture. Big patio off the bedroom with a great view. Really an excellent option value wise considering everything you get compared to some of the hotels and other airbnbs on the island. Highly recommended.

We enjoyed our stay at this very nice one bedroom apartment! It offered the convenience of air conditioning, washer, dryer and dishwasher. All the comforts of home in a beautiful vacation setting. The host (Daniel) was extremely friendly, responsive to our requests, and accommodating. We feel as if we have met a new friend. The Blue Bay complex offers a myriad of activities including a gorgeous golf course and tennis courts and best off all, a gorgeous beach! An added bonus is the warmth and friendliness of the residents and the guests at this complex. It felt wonderful to be transported back to a time where a smile and good morning greeting to one another was the norm and a great way to start the day! If these are some of the must haves for your vacation, we highly recommend this apartment at Blue Bay Village!

Had a great stay with all required amenities for a family stay. Cleaners came halfway through our 2 weeks stay to change sheets and provide clean towels which was great. Very quiet surrounding and easy access to resort amenities.

My husband and I absolutely loved it here! The resort is beautiful and peaceful, we loved spending time outside and were pleasantly surprised by how quiet the area was. The villa was nicer than it looked in pictures. Small kitchen but fine for cooking breakfast in the mornings. The air conditioning upstairs works well. Bed was comfy, on the firm side but my husband prefers that. The views are breathtaking, we loved sitting outside and looking at the beach and the iguanas (they are everywhere but don’t bother anyone). Staff was very friendly and helpful throughout our stay. They greeted us with big smiles every time we saw them, helped my husband find his misplaced sunglasses, and helped us pick the best snorkeling equipment for us (we rented masks and towels for the week, very affordable). Playa Lagun was our favorite beach we visited (out of 6) so we were very happy to be staying right on it. If you are hoping to snorkel, we found this was the best beach to do that. Lots of sea life!

Everything was exactly as described. We felt like we were the first guests (in a positive way) because everything felt so new clean and fresh. We really enjoyed our stay and found the area really fun. It’s great to be able to walk to so much.

The apartment was very clean and well laid out. Communication with the owner was clear and responsive. A cute place to stay near Blue Bay.

We had a friendly welcome and a very pleasant stay !! Great accommodation in a safe area. Walk distance to the ZANZI-beachclub. We had previously contacted the host and received a lot of useful information. He gave us lots of recommendations and help, is a very good host, replies quickly and mostly on the spot. We have had 2 very nice weeks! Contact went smoothly. We were picked up by Bep and Theo, very nice people with lots of tips about the island. The contact with Bep also went very well. I would highly recommend Marleen’s place!!! Location is great- 7 min walk/2minute drive to the beautiful beach at blue bay. The beach is beautiful with everything you need. There are several restaurants to choose from with cute beach bar. There is decent snorkeling offshore. The apartment itself is clean and organized with modern appliances. The balcony is perfection; enjoyed the view every morning over breakfast and coffee and relaxed on the sun chair after a full day of adventure. Would absolutely stay again.

Where do I start? This place was absolutely fantastic! Clark’s father, Marco, was truly heaven sent—he went above and beyond by providing transportation to and from our Airbnb. The place itself was clean, private, and wonderfully quiet. My guest and I chose to rent a car, and it was definitely the best decision for getting around easily. On the last day of my birthday trip, we unfortunately got a flat tire, but Marco came to our rescue, helping us change it and making sure we got back to the Airbnb safely. He’s an amazing human being who also gave us great local recommendations. Overall, I highly recommend this place and the incredible hospitality.

Aida’s apartment was a gem! The apt was beautiful and clean, exactly like the photos. Private and quiet location. Aida and her team were responsive and provided great recommendations. Would definitely stay here again!

We loved our stay at Monique’s! The location was ideal for our needs. We were close to downtown but far enough away to have some privacy. We enjoyed the option of having a beach in our backyard that also had drinks, food, and chairs. We felt safe in our location and liked the gated community. Monique’s place has all the essentials and plenty of room! We loved the balcony for early coffee and nightly conversations. We would stay again!

Marly's accommodation exceeded all expectations! The house is super equipped, it has the best orientation of the complex for private parking, the deck/gallery and access to the super pool that the complex has. Marly was attentive throughout our beautiful vacation that we spent on this beautiful island. Undoubtedly, because of its strategic location, the silence of the place, the possibility of swimming in the pool before and after going to the beach and the breeze that runs throughout the house, we would return here without hesitation! This location was perfect! Beautiful plantings and a spectacular beach. The property is very well maintained and we felt safe and relaxed the entire stay.

Patrícia was very attentive throughout our stay. The house was great, super organized and cozy. The outside area is super hot and relaxing. Everything was very clean. In the house there is a notebook with several guidelines and tips, this was very helpful. We love the house and in addition it is inside a condominium, so it is super safe!

Absolutely enjoyed my time staying at Rene and Valerie’s gorgeous Airbnb!! The space was stylish, spotless, & nestled peacefully in Willemstad. I appreciated the artwork to admire, the pool to swim & cool off in after a long day of exploring, and the appliances/seasonings when I wanted to cook or reheat meals. As a solo traveler, I felt safe and protected and Valerie/Rene were always proactive with communication while on the island. My only regret was not staying here longer!!
