Lovely place in amazing surroundings. Really special place to relax, and incredible views. One of the favourite airbnb stays. They have made this house a lovely space off the main track. If you come in the winter do bring a 4x4 as it’s at the top of an incline.

Simple a fantastic place to stay. Everything was in great condition, spacious and tidy. The beds were super comfortable. Nature is stunning and lot of interesting places to visit close to the house. Higly recommend.

This is by far one of the best Airbnb’s I have stayed in. The host had everything that you could possibly need plus some things that I didn’t expect (international plugs). She was fast to answer questions and friendly.

Loved our stay in this beautiful home. It was toasty warm with lovely outlooks and space yo relax while still feeling part of the beautiful scenery. The house was well equipped. The host was very responsive when we needed some help to work the hot tub.

I can’t recommend Blueberry Hill enough! If you're looking to experience Iceland’s stunning natural beauty, this is the place to stay. The cabin was a perfect fit for our group of 8, providing both comfort and charm. We loved exploring the breathtaking surroundings—whether it was taking peaceful walks around the cabin or soaking in the views, the area offered everything we hoped for and more. An unforgettable stay in an incredible setting!

Lovely cottage with amazing views. Cottage was clean, cozy, and exactly what we were looking for. Comfy beds and couch. Loved the covered hot tub - we had windy/rainy evenings, so it was nice to soak while having some weather protection! There is a large windowed sliding door you can open as well to let in cool air in. Host was friendly and communicative, check-in and check-out were very easy. Other pros - there’s a cute restaurant onsite, and we didn’t use them, but also laundry facilities. We’d definitely stay again!

Burma’s beautiful home is ideal for anyone who wants two bathrooms (hard to find in Iceland) and plenty of space. It’s in a quaint small town very close to the Golden Circle and not far from Selfoss, which has more substantial amenities. Easy drive to Gullfoss and Geysir, and a small grocery is within walking distance of the house. The views from the sunroom are beautiful. The kitchen is modern, functional, and spacious. The outdoor area, including the hot tub, is wonderful in the evening. The nearby restaurants, including those in Reykholt, are wonderful! We highly recommend this place for people who want extra space and don’t want to stay in the busy capital city. We’d stay here again in a heartbeat!

Anfitriones atentos, un alojamiento precioso en el campo. Paradisíaco, con naturaleza alrededor. Un jacuzzi funcionando 24 horas para relajarte. Inolvidable.

I can only offer superlatives describing my experience with Helga and her wonderful apartment. I felt right at home, and had everything I needed and more. We had a fantastic time at Straumnes cabins. The cabins are very peaceful, and in a beautiful setting on the lake. We were spending a couple of days doing the golden circle and South coast and the cabin was perfectly located for this. The communication was great, the cabin was well equipped with everything we needed, and lovely and warm. Many thanks to our host for a great stay. We would highly recommend the cabin for family's exploring the golden circle that want a peaceful stay in the countryside.

The cabin was a peaceful retreat in Fluðir! Close to Minilik and the mineral baths, with a well equipped kitchen. We had one small issue with check-in (our fault), and Asa very quickly helped to resolve it.

Gemma nascosta! Cottage splendido in posizione bellissima, dotato di tutto il necessario. La vasca esterna con vista sulla vallata è una meraviglia! Host gentilissimo che ci ha accolto personalmente e molto disponibile a fornire informazioni sulla zona. Al centro del “Golden Circle”. Un ottimo ristorante nelle vicinanze (Hvönn) e numerosi maneggi. 2 ore da Landmannalaugar (imperdibile). Fidatevi, non esitate a prenotare. Senza dubbio il miglior alloggio in 3 settimane in Islanda!

This place was ah-mazing! So peaceful and such much to do nearby! We loved our time there and highly recommend it to those who want to peace and tranquility while in Iceland!
