Fine little cabin 40 sqm with a good kitchen, bathroom with shower, 1 bedroom queen size bed (and baby crib). Attic with mattresses for 4. Living room with a sleeping couch for 2. (Sleeping place for 6 good friends.) Good cabin to stay in, warm and cosy. Good to have as a base because there is short drive to Reykjavik(80 km), south and west side of Iceland. Short drive to nature of the South: Golden Circle, Waterfall Faxi, Seljalandsfoss, Skógarfoss, glacier, mountains, lakes and rivers.

Near Gullfoss and Geysir and only 100 km to the capital city Reykjavík. The cabin can accommodate 2-4 persons. One bedroom with beds for two people. My place is close to The Golden Circle and the Highlands. The place has picturesque view. You can see Hekla, Eyjafjallajökul, Langjökull through the windows of the cottage. Closed to the cottage is Skálholt church, one of Iceland´s most important historic sites. You’ll love my place because of the comfy bed, the coziness, the kitchen, the hot tub. My place is good for couples and solo adventurers. Only 2 km to Health service. If you have back problems we have a soft mattress for you.

This luxury house is located in a beautiful private place in the middle of the Golden Circle. Enjoy the northern lights without any light pollution. We want great comfort for our guests, all beds are with high quality bed linens from Lin Design. The kitchen is well equipped. The terrace is equipped with furniture and a Weber gas bbq. A neat little house in a beautiful setting. Cooking area with refrigerator and sink. Bathroom and shower in private room. A good house for an individual or a couple. Heated with electricity and is warm and tidy. Swimming pools for 10km away, both on Flúðir and Reykholt. Shops in both Reykholt and Flúðir . When it's like that, it's really nice to see stars and the north .Welcome to walk through the woods, which is all around with paths. From Selfoss 45 km.

The Mountain Villa was fabulous - all 8 of us thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The kitchen and bathroom facilities were very well equipped and perfect for our needs. The sulphur smelling showers took a bit of getting used to but overall everything worked well including the sauna and hot tub. We even enjoyed playing with the a few games in the garden. We also loved sitting in the glass dome in the evenings - another fabulous feature of the house. Very highly recommended as a base to relax and to explore this amazing country!!

Front Lake A-frame Cabin with extra hut.

We stayed at this place for two nights ( 3 adults and 1 kid). It is very well equipped, you'll find everything you need for grilling or regular cooking. Views are breathtaking, and if you're lucky with the weather you can just chill outside and enjoy the fresh air. Hosts were very friendly and quickly answered all our questions. Instructions are perfect. One thing to note - if you use google maps, don't put the address there, use the coordinates. Address is correct, but google maps directs you to wrong location ( though, not far from correct place ).

The Farmhouse w/hot tub

This was an absolutely amazing stay amid a beautiful horse farm, just a little off of the beaten path and still very easy to get to and close to many wonderful sites of interest. Kristján and his family were incredibly welcoming, the house was pristine and larger and even more comfortable than expected from the photos, with excellent heating and all of the amenities we could have wanted. It was a great place to stay with kids, and our hosts were incredibly generous about sharing their knowledge and love of animals with us and our children. I highly recommend it.

AMAZING!!! Runar’s place was even better than we could have imagined. The Northern Lights were extremely visible to the naked eye 3 of the 4 nights we stayed. The back deck was lovely to watch Aurora dance in the sky. The furniture and bed (we only used 1 of the 4) were extremely clean and comfortable! To our surprise, the bathroom floor was heated, which was a lovely touch! We absolutely loved our stay here. It was extremely peaceful and secluded but also so close to town. We have already started talking coming back to Iceland and staying here again. It is the perfect home in the perfect location on the Golden Circle.

Brekka - cosy cottage with a view!

This is an amazing cabin for a nice and peaceful break. The view and surroundings are incredible! We went at the end of October and it got to -4C some nights, but the cabin is nice and cosy and warm - and the hot tub perfect for whatever time of the day you want to use it. Because there's no light pollution, the clear sky's were awesome, sat there looking for shooting stars! On our last night we experienced some spectacular Northern Lights - incredible!! The nearest town - Borgarnes - is a 25 minute drive away and has an awesome bakery. Also supermarkets and a local swimming pool. There is a very steep drive up to the cabin which we couldn't drive up in our Cat B hired car, so parked at the bottom and walked up (helped us work off the cakes we had from the bakery though!). Would highly recommend for a peaceful stay within pure countryside.
