This is an AMAZING place! The home is so peaceful and comfortable, the property and surrounding area are absolutely beautiful, and Elin and her family are incredibly kind. Our family felt right at home - and Elin was so nice to let us adopt her dog Visa during our stay :) The location is excellent for adventuring around the Golden Circle, while staying in a quiet retreat each night. I’ll be recommending Elin’s place to anyone I know visiting Iceland! Thanks again Elin!

Wir hatten eine tolle Zeit in der Ferienwohnung von Nortia. Als vierköpfige Familie hatten wir genügend Platz, besonders das Bad ist sehr geräumig. Fludir war für uns ein sehr guter Ausgangspunkt für den Golden Circle und das Hochland Landmannalaugar. Wir können die Unterkunft sehr empfehlen!

Nous avons passé une semaine dans la maison de Hildur qui était parfaite pour notre famille de 5 personnes. Dans un endroit très calme, à la campagne, la maison était très bien équipée, confortable et impeccablement propre. Excellent endroit pour s'installer pour visiter les sites du Cercle d'Or. Nous nous sommes sentis comme à la maison et notre hôte a tout prévu pour que le séjour se passe bien. Mille mercis au mari de Hildur qui nous a aidé lorsque notre auto ne voulait pas démarrer lors de notre départ. Il a été d'une grande aide dans une situation stressante. Nous recommandons cet endroit sans hésitation.

Logement très bien situé à mi chemin d’un côté vers Þingvellir et de l’autre côté vers Geysir et le secret Lagoon. La surface du logement est plutôt grande ce qui est plutôt agréable. Très bon échange avec Larus. À recommander.

We have enjoyed this place, very peaceful and perfectly situated to visit the Golden Circle sites. The housing is quite basic, but sufficient and very comfortable. We recommend this place.

We felt very welcome, there is enough space and a lot of rooms, it is very comfortable, everything we needed was available. And his house is centered between beautiful locations in Iceland. And every time I had a question, he would respond very fast.

The apartment is beautifully designed with great attention to detail – I felt at home right away. The view into the greenery is absolutely stunning and makes for a peaceful, relaxing atmosphere. Everything was spotless and well-maintained, and the hosts were friendly and helpful. I can highly recommend this place and would love to come back!

We were passing through Fludir on our road trip and decided to Airbnb this night. Glad we did because this place was extremely clean and very comfortable!

This was a lovely place to stop during a road trip. The place was spotless and matched the description online. Super convenient that there's a small grocery store right across the street!

Clean, cozy little cabin-like space situated right along the golden circle. You will need a car to get to it. Nicer on the inside than you might first think when you arrive. Would recommend.

We spent 2 nights in Birgir’s apartment during our stay in Iceland (we visited Snæfellsnes peninsula). Everything was clean, we had a private bathroom. Bed was very comfortable. There was also a coffee machine which can be used to make also hot water for tea.
