Holiday rentals with beach access in Bird Rock, San Diego

This was just what we needed for our stay! Easy walk to the bay, and to surrounding restaurants. Quinn gave very clear instructions on where everything was.

Had a birthday getaway trip for my fiancés birthday and this place was perfect! It’s a great location for walking and easy access to the boardwalk we used the free bike rentals daily it was awesome. Thank you so much highly recommended this spot ✨

Walking distance to beach and bay!

The place is super convenient for our La Jolla half marathon event. Super pretty location and lots of restaurants near by to grab food.

It was a wonderful stay! Exactly as described with all amenities! We utilized the bikes a lot to get around the beaches! It was lovely and I will certainly remember the spot if we’re in the area again and recommend to friends! Thank you again Rex!!!

The studio was perfect for a weekend getaway. Very clean and even looked nicer than the pictures. It’s walkable to the beach and a few restaurants. Would definitely recommend!

This place was an absolute gem. Waking up to the sound of the waves and being able to walk everywhere made our stay so relaxing. It's the kind of spot where the beach feels like your backyard and adventure is always just around the corner. Falling asleep to the ocean breeze was pure magic. All in all, a fantastic escape — we’d recommend it in a heartbeat.

This was a great airbnb and Jassica was extremely responsive. It was walkable to many areas in la jolla, quiet at night and had a lovely backyard. Would definitely stay here again if visiting la jolla.

This place is absolutely spectacular, gorgeous interior throughout, the deck and the thoughtfully designed outdoor areas with the large kitchen for cooking are all lovely. Perfect location within walking distance of some of the best food and coffee around! But best part was the host, so great at communicating and so thoughtful. We had a toddler with us and they let us check in more than 4 hours early so she could take a nap and as we were leaving our flight was severely delayed and they let us checkout late. The best part of airbnb is when you get to stay with hosts that are wonderful and kind people. We would love to stay again and will try any time we come back to La Jolla!

We had an absolutely perfect stay! The home was cozy, beautifully maintained, and thoughtfully stocked—perfect for our little family getaway. The beds were incredibly comfortable, the neighborhood was quiet and lovely, and everything about the space made us feel right at home. There were even board games for our entire family to enjoy! Meghan was a truly amazing host! She was so warm, welcoming, and responsive. She went above and beyond to ensure we had a great experience. Our kids had the best time and have been asking when we can go back already! We’re so grateful for the memories made here and would return in a heartbeat. Highly, highly recommend!

Studio-sized place with amazingly-well-appointed kitchen (you could actually cook or bake there!). Bedroom mostly taken up with HUGE (California King-sized?) bed; pretty comfortable, but unnecessarily playground-sized (even for 2 good-sized adults). Lighted walk-in closet (nice!); good for out-of-the-way storage of suitcases, cooler, etc.). Beautiful residential neighborhood with ocean views, CVS, restaurants, shops - all only a short half-block away. Thermostat reasonably intuitive, as were all other appliances. Occasionally heard residents upstairs, but of short duration, not particularly intrusive, & only during the day. All in all, would happily book this place again!

Sydney and Jack's home was the perfect place to celebrate a special family occasion. It is beautiful, clean and stocked with the right supplies. I had a letdown when I had to come home to my house :). They were so lovely to work with and were great communicators. We loved the location - especially for coffee and the beach!

The location is unbeatable!! Neighbors were friendly and we felt so safe! We loved the upstairs perch and the common area that was outside!

There was plenty of space for everyone to spread out, and the kitchen and bathrooms were modern, clean, and well-equipped. The surrounding area was beautiful and added to the relaxing vibe. Excellent place to stay! What a great location and view! Gorgeous. Walkable to so many wonderful places. Great food, beaches, stores, beach boardwalk and more. A close drive to the Zoo, La Jolla and beautiful parks. Not too far from the airport. The place was very clean. We would most definitely stay here again.

A Perfect San Diego Coastal Getaway! I recently had the pleasure of staying at Carl's beach home in the Pacific/Mission Beach area, and it was nothing short of amazing! From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the charming beach cottage. The decor is super cute, combining cozy beach vibes with modern comforts, making it feel like a home away from home. The location couldn't be better! Just a short stroll from the beach, we enjoyed daily walks along the shore and stunning sunsets. The nearby restaurants and shops added to the convenience, making it easy to explore the local scene. Carl was an exceptional host, providing us with all the information we needed for a smooth stay. The cottage was clean, well-equipped, and had everything we needed for a relaxing vacation. If you're looking for a perfect beach getaway, I highly recommend Carl’s beach home. location was perfect. peaceful. close to beach and shops. liked the layout of apartment. spacious not cluttered. easy to maintain.. appreciated having free netflix and amazon prime. .Lastly Cassandra, generous host. allowed extra time for checkout.

Such an amazing place! My husband and I have been meeting up with our friends for 6 years now and this is the first time a kid has joined us. My son loved the beach and it was so nice to be so close and to have our own space but to also be able to walk to restaurants and things around. Kiran was so kind and was able to answer any questions we had very quick. We’ve already talked about going again!!

Chris did a great job making sure we were able to enter and we were happy. The place was spotless, newly renovated with the latest designs and literally right on the beach and boardwalk with incredible views! I highly recommend the home and PB in general!!

Great location on Mission Beach. Emmy's book of local suggestions was great for finding good food in the area. Centrally located to all different San Diego attractions which was great. Loved the beach being right outside the door as well as the ability to walk all around Mission Beach. My family and I even walked to Pacific beach. Emmy was wonderful with checking in on my family. I would definitely recommend.
