Great place for hunters. A little older, especially appliances, but functional.

Responded right away! And made it feel like home. Will definitely come back again!

This was an older home full of charm and character. It was very clean and spacious, very clean, and was very well equipped. Location was excellent and communication with our hosts was outstanding. Would stay again.

This place was a perfect place for our large group of friends and family for the weekend. Access was great for getting onto the lake for those who wanted to fish and the house was large enough to accommodate the others who stayed back to do puzzles, play games, and watch movies. The kitchen was well stocked and we had no difficulties cooking for the 17 of us. There is one step into the house from the garage, but the master bedroom and the rest of the main floor is accessible. We definitely would consider renting here again.

In spite of anything I've said here that may be seen as a negative, it was only meant as helpful feedback. The service and accommodations were great overall, a very good value and I would be happy to stay there again if the opportunity arises. One last item, the outlet that served the coffee pot stopped working our first day. We could not find a tripped breaker. It wasn't really a problem as we just moved the pot to a different location - actually, I think it's better where we put it being away from a busy part of the kitchen - but I just wanted to make sure you knew so it could be repaired. Thank you.

This was our second year staying here for our annual sister trip. It suits our needs perfectly. The handicap ramp and everything on one level is just what is needed. Hopefully we can return again next year.

Great place. This is my 2nd time staying here for a short fishing trip to Big Stone. Great location and perfect for a couple buddies and myself. Also the beds are so comfortable.

Amazing host! Was extremely windy one of the nights we were there and John let us know if we felt weary we could go to him and Kathys home if need be! Very thoughtful! They also had fun outdoor/indoor games which I thought was a nice unexpected touch.

House was very clean. Great place to stay if you are in Ortonville.

Although the gps had a difficult time finding the house at first, once we got there it was quite, peaceful and beautiful scenery. Lots of wildlife flying or walking about. Only a few minutes drom town. Kathryn was alway quick to respond. Would definitely stay again!
