Parking with boat and RV hookups, private V-Dock dock with 8x8 sundeck and swimming ladder, firepit, free firewood, charcoal grill, and spacious yard for activities. Incredible fishing, a complimentary canoe, kayaks, and swimming with beautiful view and sunsets. Big Stone Lake on one side and wildlife/farm fields on the other...remote and comfortable.

Ortonville is a cozy little town amidst the farm fields of west Minnesota, right on the border with South Dakota. We accomodate up to four people on four extra-long twin beds. We have seating, wifi, a TV, coffee pot, refridgerator, microwave, and self-check-in. *Our bathroom is EXTERNAL, is a shared bathroom with other guests on the property, and requires a slight walk. * Welcome!

Little Mill Road House

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. You can jump on a bike or take a walk on the tarred path located right across the road that leads into the Big Stone Refuge. Ortonville has Big Stone Lake great for fishing and our area is also awesome for hunting. We do allow pets but if left by themselves in the house please kennel them. There is one bedroom with a queen size bed and a murphy bed and futon in the living room. Plenty of parking for boats, trailers, etc.

A wonderful cozy basement dwelling just east of the South Dakotan Border. The accommodations were very homey and spacious. Dawn was a very hospitable host. The bike barn down the road is very cool if you’re into motorcycles. The location doesn’t have much around, very peaceful in my opinion. It’s a worthwhile pit stop to crash a few nights while on route to a distant location!

Our family stayed at Kelli’s place and it was better than I had hoped for. Property is beautiful and had everything we needed. The kids loved the sandbox and toys! I loved sitting on the deck with my coffee in the morning -so peaceful!! The house was clean, roomy, and very well appointed. Nice touches everywhere!! We had a wonderful stay and will be back!!

I needed a room for the night because I had business in a neighboring town the next morning. The farmhouse address showed up easily on my smartphone’s map, and Karen sent helpful photos of the house and how to access the upstairs guest room. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and there was a bathroom conveniently located across the hall. The room also had a microwave, mini-fridge, and television, which was a nice touch. Karen and her husband were friendly and even joked with me about driving a Dodge—apparently, they think a Chevy would be a better choice! If you're looking for a quiet, comfortable stay in the country, Karen’s farmhouse is a great choice. Also, it's not expensive and that helps.
