Stella Beach House was the perfect getaway for my family and me. The location is absolutely stunning, with an array of excellent restaurants nearby. The house itself was impeccably clean, and we thoroughly enjoyed the amazing pool. From the very beginning to the end of our stay, Amit, Chaminda, and their team were incredibly helpful with everything we needed. They prepared delicious meals for us almost every day, which truly enhanced our experience. Overall, we had a fantastic time and would highly recommend Stella Beach Villas to anyone planning a vacation in Sri Lanka. It's a wonderful destination for everyone looking to relax and enjoy a beautiful getaway.

It was a pleasure to stay here. We had everything we needed. Nihal helped a lot: with transfers, sightseeing, food, house, etc. We didn't have any problems. He's a great host! I highly recommend it!

Wow wow, we had an incredible stay! The housekeeper Ari and his wife amita were so so kind, the oceanfront location was impeccable, we had an issue with the electric, but thanks to Rebecca’s quick and helpful service it was taken care of promptly and professionaly, I would highly recommend this property!

We spent a whole month in this house and were delighted! Spacious, cozy, with a lovely chill area by the river where you can relax and enjoy nature. I especially liked the rooftop – the perfect place to do yoga. The kitchen is fully equipped, so it was convenient to cook. The beds in the bedrooms are comfortable, slept great. The beach is only a 5-7 minute walk and the surf spot in Weligama is about 25 minutes away. Overall, it was a wonderful experience and we are grateful to the hosts for their hospitality!

The beach hut is a wonderful place to stay in a beautiful green location. The hut is basic but has everything you need, just a step away from the beach. The hosts are very helpful, and their restaurant across the street is definitely worth a visit. This place is highly recommended!

It was such a Nice Place to live! 5 min to Mirissa Beach But still a quiet Place.

Best place to stay in Marissa….family had a great time…perfectly matches the phots and descriptions. I would definitely recommend this place. Very very proactive host goes out of his way to help the customer. Very close to the beach 🏖️.

We spent a month here – it's almost a perfect place! The Internet is ideal for work, including video calls. Comfortable bed with new mattress. The bathroom is a delight! The toilet and shower are separated from each other, and the hot water is really unlimited hot water and with great pressure. The kitchen has everything except the Turks for making coffee, but it's a small thing. We made friends with our dogs and played often. They really bark, but only when someone comes, which in our case was very rare. The hosts are wonderful people, it was easy and pleasant to communicate on all issues. There is no noise insulation between our and neighboring apartments at the expense of a thin door in an adjacent wall. We rented this apartment too and used them as a separate office. When someone arrives at the villa, you can hear absolutely everything that happens on the street at any time of the day. In any case, my rating is 10 out of 10 because all the listed pros more than compensate for the minor shortcomings. Thank you!

Wonderful spacious place with fresh renovation and mesmerizing ocean view. Very easy to to contact your host and staff. Lots of places around, 1 minute to the ocean. There is a minimum set of detergents - shower gels and shampoos. Clean enough, but the kitchen is starting to feel a little musty. For this season, it can look a little expensive and I want to expect more details at this price category - slippers, bathrobes, toothbrushes, more towels, shaving accessories, but these are more points for improvement, still this is an apartment, not a hotel. 11/10 :)

We came in a group of 4 friends. Never seen such spacious villa. Comes with 3 bedrooms (two located on top and one at the ground floor). Spiral Staircase might be difficult for elderly. First thing that I must praise is the housekeeper, his name is Lakshan and he’s the most attentive boy ever. He’s always ready to assist. He helps to cook and reheat too. Theres ample of place for us to chill. From the living hall to the kitchen to the outdoor seats we basically fully utilized the space. The only downside is that it’s a little far from the Main Street coz the small lane seems quiet at night but it’s convenient to order food via apps so we never had to walk out. By the way; we arent pet lovers but the two doggies are sooooooooo well behaved.

We had a wonderful stay at Catherine’s cottage. Location was good; walkable to the beach. It is hard to fully explain just how spacious the cottage is - every room is large and well thought out, even the outside veranda is enormous. The children loved the little pool, it was absolutely perfect to end our Sri Lankan adventure. Thank you.

Coccocabana is a beautiful place to stay at the beach of Sri Lanka. Enjoy the garden, swimmingpool, the house , the waves ( in the swimmingside), the restaurants, shops and go everywhere with a tuktuk! There’s so much positive to tell about it…. Come and see it by yourselves.

We- my husband and I and our two kids (2 and 11 years old) had an amazing time at Eranga's place. The small swimming pool with a deeper space for the grown-ups to stand in was perfect for the little one and to cool of, the view to the ocean through the tropical surrounding was so beautiful and Eranga was one of the best hosts we ever had on airbnb. He was so friendly and always available, arranged for us to see baby turtles released into the ocean, we always had drinking water and other supplies in the kitchen.The restaurants around have delicious breakfast, lunch and dinner, so there is nothing you could miss. Highly recommend this place!

We had a fantastic stay at the villa. Clemence was very responsive, and the two helpers were always available and cooked excellent meals for us. The house was a dream - beautifully designed with great attention to detail which sets it apart from other properties in the area. It’s spacious, well-equipped and everything was in great condition. The location is also great, a short walk from the sea. A very comfortable and well-run place - we’re already looking forward to returning to this or another property owned by Clemens

We have just got home after our trip to the Tropical Beach House in Hikkaduwa. What a totally lovely time away. Great communication with Gavin prior to the visit and out in touch with Darmith (house keeper) and taxi transport for arrival. We arrived at 2am to be met by Darmith and Saji (security) and felt at home straight away. Darmith had collected fridge essentials before we arrived so we were set up for the following morning. The house and gardens are lovely, the sound of the ocean 24/7 is just perfect and the house was spotlessly clean with good facilities. Sangrita helped to provide us with Sri Lankan breakfast foods, loved the Dahl curry and the hoppers but also gave us an awesome Brit breakfast of eggs and bacon! Chandra was on hand at night to cook a bbq which was tasty and varied. We used Tuk tuks to get out and about during our stay which were easy to find. Any issues we had were resolved quickly. Lots of local bars and eateries along the beach or further into Hikkaduwa.

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful villa, located right on the serene and picturesque Talpe Beach. The calm, crystal-clear waters were perfect for calm bathing, and we were lucky enough to spot massive turtles every morning! We loved the option of cooking for ourselves, and the fully equipped kitchen made it easy to prepare meals. The vibrant markets in Galle, just a 15-minute drive away, offered an incredible variety of fresh seafood, fruits, and vegetables, which was a real treat. If you prefer, Anjalee, the lovely housekeeper, is also available to cook you breakfast. The villa was impeccably clean, and the communication with Jack was seamless and clear from start to finish. It was the perfect place to unwind, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience!

Sahan’s beautiful airbnb is a little gem in Weligama. I would 100% recommend. He greeted us at check in and made sure we had everything we needed throughout our stay. The place itself and the pool especially are absolutely gorgeous! The perfect location for a little retreat. Thanks Sahan!

Sophie is a wonderful host—friendly, responsive, and helpful throughout our stay. The villa exceeded our expectations; it’s even better than the photos! The location is perfect for a beach holiday, just a short ride from Unawatuna where you’ll find great restaurants and bars. While getting an Uber or cab can occasionally be tricky, tuk-tuks are always readily available and add to the local charm. Highly recommend this place for a relaxing getaway.

Villa Maggona is an absolutely beautiful property with the most amazing staff. Chef prepares fabulous fresh food, Stanley is a lovely person who will always advise and accommodate. A special mention must go to Sumrita who really is the most beautiful, kind soul who goes above and beyond in her role. She really wants her guests time at Villa Maggona to be special. The garden is maintained every day and the pool is beautiful. You won’t find so much as a fallen leaf lying around. The sound of the waves crashing on the beach are very relaxing. The beach is lovely for an evening stroll. We really did find this home to be a haven. One thing to consider is that you do have to have transport to go to a beach with amenities and/or activities. Tuk tuks are readily available, we used the Pickme app which allows you to book and pay cash once your journey is completed. I would definitely go back to VM and can’t imagine anyone not enjoying this beautiful property and the amazing staff working there.
