Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Benton County

The rental was perfect for what we were looking for. Quaint, peaceful, comfortable and clean. The location was also great for our Truman lake outing. Probably most impressive was Baxter’s stellar customer service. He initiated a great welcome, covered everything we needed to have a seamless stay in advance. I’ll definitely choose this spot on our next visit.

We loved the house, it worked out well for me and my family, we came down for a weekend getaway for Memorial Weekend. We had cookies on the table to greet us when we arrived, the kids really enjoyed that. The host checked on us a few times during our stay we really appreciated that, made us feel really welcome. We couldn’t figure how to use the Keurig that was in the house when we first arrived, we reached out to the host and Michelle brought over a brand new Keurig and we were drinking coffee 5 minutes later. She went above and beyond for us! We really appreciated that. We loved having a coffee bar in the house that was stocked with all types of different coffees. The house had everything we needed, towels, soap, shampoo, kitchen utensils, board games etc. Everything was perfect, we will definitely be back soon!

This was our 3rd year and each year she has upgraded and improved the home. We booked for next year again. Everything is so comfortable and simple to book and check in. Furnishing are top grade and very nice. I highly recommend this VRBO

Great place to stay right on the water, perfect for our quick weekend fishing trip. I was able to tie up & dock my boat for the weekend with no problems at all. Great views, cozy house with great accommodations that make it hard to leave. Hosts were very responsive, easy check in & check out. Thank you & we will definitely be back!!!

The cabin was clean and welcoming. I immediately loved it and felt right at home. We enjoyed the porch. The front porch has a nice porch swing and table to enjoy a meal or morning coffee. The back has a cute fire pit and chairs. Nice smart tv with all the channels and streaming services. Furniture was comfortable. Kitchen fully stocked and they left us a couple snacks which was a very nice touch. Even some bottled water in the fridge which was nice. Supplied soaps and shampoo in the shower with nice shower head. My only recommendation would be to upgrade the pillows to higher quality and maybe the sheets also. Overall not much else to improve on. We drove into Buffalo creek area and explored some areas of the creek. There are some really good places to eat for such a small area. Estes drive in had an exceptional hamburger and ice cream. Maces inn had a good meal. Mozarka coffee shop is excellent and also had food items. We explored nearby Cole Camp also. Perfect for a weekend away.

A wonderful little cabin. I did a solo long weekend for some nature and solitude, and it was everything I’d hoped for. If you’re looking to reconnect with nature, this is the place!!

The hosts are very responsive and went above and beyond to accommodate us. We enjoyed our stay at this beautiful cabin. Would highly recommend! We went for a fishing tournament so nearby boat ramp was helpful.

Great place to stay whether you’re looking to relax and unwind, or go out and explore! Nice little walk down to the lake and back and had a great time cruising around in the golf cart. Cabin came with everything we needed!

Second time staying here. The host Julie is very responsive and helpful. We had another great weekend kayaking and just being by the water (the private dock doesn’t hurt!). Was great for bird watching too (we had a bald eagle perched right out in front). Highly recommended if you want to be on the lake but away from the huge party crowd. An absolute perfect spot for what we needed. Perfect for a getaway from the rush of the rest of the world. Personal favorite was the lack of cell service, enough to communicate to family if needed but not enough to constantly have the urge to scroll social media or watch movies. We were able to completely shut out the rest of our lives and just enjoy our time together. We even took the opportunity to visit the lake and cast a few lines. My personal favorite was enjoying the wildlife, we got to see multiple deer with new babies, a couple eagles and others. We absolutely plan to visit again
