The Potting Shed

Our converted milking parlour in the heart of the York plain is a unique one bed, self contained tiny house! With access to York and the surrounding area, it is a perfect place for a weekend away or a longer stay for business, retreat, escape. There is a bus that runs from just outside to York. They do not run at the weekends during winter and never on a Sunday. There is a train station 3 miles away. Parking is available on the road. There is a shop 2 minutes away. No pets or children.

This private annexe at Gowlands Farm House is located just off the A59, 8 miles from York and 14 miles from Harrogate, it makes an ideal base for visiting the nearby towns, cities and countryside that North Yorkshire has to offer. York Park and Ride is located 5 miles away. The North York Moors and Coast, together with the Dales, are accessible as an alternative day out. The brick-built annexe is detached from the main house allowing privacy and a large garden area for dogs to roam freely.

The York garden house stands under a oak tree in our garden, with private entrance. The garden, fire pit area (where you can toast marshmallows or use a disposable BBQ) and the glass roofed seating area/patio (to enjoy a takeaway from the village) are entirely yours to use. The garden room is also very private. It is a small, cosy & warm ( similar to glamping pod) There are electric radiators and its cosy on winter nights. It has two small single beds. Log burner is for aesthetics.

York Poetree House, tiny treehouse home for one

Reconnect and wake up into nature at this unforgettable escape. Secluded treehouse with everything you need to soothe and inspire. A Large comfortable cottage on the outskirts of the lovely Haxby village approximately 5 miles from York Centre . With 3 bedrooms (one of which is downstairs) and 3 bathrooms it is a spacious home which is ideal for a family get together or for friends meeting up. The dining kitchen is fully equipped so you can cook and eat at home if you wish. The pool table is always a great hit with our guests and many a pool tournament has been played.
