Cottage holiday rentals in Benarrabá

Peaceful stay for a week. Beautiful elevated location with panoramic views. Rocabella restaurant at the bottom of the track was great if you dont feel like venturing out far, with a varied menu from light bites to main dishes with burgers, steaks and fish.. My advice would would be to grab some basic groceries from a supermarket prior to going up to the house i.e coffee, bread eggs , drinks etc. I travelled with my ederly mother and the accomodation was suitable for our needs as she is unable to manage steps. There is one twin room downstairs with a bathroom and walk in shower which is next to the kitchen , lounge and outside patio so easy access for her with limited mobility. its would not be suitable for a wheelchair however. Upstairs there is a double bedroom with doors opening onto a patio with table and chairs, perfect for your morning coffee to relish the sun rise and sunsets, and also affording privacy if travelling with others in your group. I throughly enjoyed my stay. 😊

Very cozy and beautiful house, it was not missing details. What we liked the most was the hot tub and fireplace. They're good to disconnect. Lorena is very attentive and answering all our doubts. Highly recommended. We will repeat 100%.

Diego is one of the best hosts I’ve worked with on Airbnb! He allowed a very flexible check in, he is wonderfully communicative and friendly, and very energetic. His country home is a labor of love, and perfect for a family to stay. Unique experience about 10 minutes outside Setenil de las Bodegas, as he has chickens, turtles, turkeys, and all manner of produce growing. The showers were hot, the beds comfortable, and the kitchens well stocked. Great outdoor spaces for relaxing. The one thing is about the third bedroom/loft; it is a VERY short ceiling, so our third couple (who are on the taller side) preferred to sleep on the sofa bed. Would certainly recommend Diego’s home to anyone and would return.

This cottage with swimming pool (and jacuzzi!) on top of the mountain in Coín is really a paradise. Ideal for a relaxing family vacation. The road to it is spicy, but once you are, this is the perfect base for trips to Malaga, Ronda, Marbella, Granada,...

We had a wonderful 2-week stay at Casas de Almajar in July of 2024. My 7yo daughter and I were there along with friends, for a total of two adults and 2-3 kids at any given moment, ages 6-10. This accommodation was perfect for us. The house was cozy and stayed relatively cool during the very hot daytime hours (plus there was an A/C unit we could use when needed). We prepared most of our meals at the house and found that easy to manage with the supplies on hand. The pool was definitely the highlight of the location: it was pristine and extremely pleasant during the hot days. We spent hours there every day. The house is located uphill from most of Prado del Rey so you need to be prepared for some steep, hilly walking when you stay here, but it was only a <5 min walk to the main pedestrian walkway (lined with bars and cafes) or the town square. Juana was very helpful with local information and suggestions, from supermarkets and restaurants to nearby hiking trails. A great place!

We had a great stay at Marina's and Nacho's house. Marina was very welcoming: even days before our arrival she was checking our needs and travel plans. The house is a very calm and beautiful place with some stunning views over the Andalucian mountains. We also loved the cat, "Ki". A great place to have some quiet days.

It is a fantastic country house with all the comforts of a normal house. The children had a great time in the pool and everything is very well equipped. He also let us leave in the afternoon to take advantage of the day, which we greatly appreciate. We'll be back for sure!

Lovely cabin in the woods, cut off from stresses and strains of life. A challenging drive but well worth it. Sabina and Walter were helpful throughout. Loved our stay there and would go back. Thx again.

Our family of 8 enjoyed staying at Juan's charming & rustic home. If you are looking for a modern Airbnb, look elsewhere. If you are looking for a getaway from the hustle and bustle of Ronda, where you can enjoy beautiful views from your deck/patio/private pool & enjoy family time...then this place is for you. When you are ready to leave your comforts of home, you can drive to two of the most beautiful white villages in Andalusia: a quick 10 minutes to Ronda or 25 minutes to the amazing & unique Setenil de las Bodegas. Juan's place has all of the comforts of a mountain home, complete with views of endless stars at night, 2 full bathrooms, enough room to sleep 8 comfortably & two air conditioning units (1 in the main bedroom & 1 in the living room) to keep the house cool. There is no AC in the 3 downstairs bedrooms, but since the rooms are on the bottom floor, they stayed cool at night. Our boys also loved the resident neighborhood cat, whom they named "Sunflower"! My girlfriend and I stayed at Jarandalus for 5 days, looking for a peaceful home in beautiful surroundings, and we got exactly that. The house and gardens are amazing, and the views are breath taking. The home feels luxurious, and Salvador and Isabel were warm and welcoming when we arrived, and Salvador was available and easy to communicate with throughout our stay. The barbecue was excellent, the pool was lovely, and we greatly enjoyed being in the grounds of the house. The location has fantastic views and is close to several small towns, and only 30 minutes from Ronda, so is convenient but is at enough distance to give a peaceful and quiet stay. This was well worth the money, we loved our stay, and hope to return some day in the future.

Martine and Ron have a wonderful small casa near Coin. We enjoyed everything about it! The view, the hospitality, and the pool! They were very welcoming hosts. I would love to stay again!

We had a great time staying in Frank and Luisa's beautiful cottage! It is located on a private property that offers a lot of peace and space. The cows are running loose on the road to the farm, very idyllic!! The cottage is a bit old but very clean and well maintained! Really gives the rural atmosphere. The garden and swimming pool (breathtaking views) are very well maintained and really lend themselves to complete relaxation! We went to visit the village of Tarifa, this is really a great village with the most beautiful beach in Europe that we have seen! In Los Barrios and Algeciras, we found the dining options a bit dull, but maybe we should listen to Frank's advice, haha! The hosts want to help you with everything, very nice! Thanks for the stay!

Paqui and Jose Antonio were wonderful hosts and met us on arrival in a nearby restaurant to handover keys and direct us to the villa. The villa is superb and perfect for a quiet getaway which is exactly what we were after. It is just a short drive to the town of Coín which has an array of shops and restaurants. We ventured out for some great day trips including Ronda (hour drive west), Nerja (hour drive east), Malaga (30min drive) and a nice quiet beach (Playa del Peñón del Cuervo). The villa felt very spacious for the three of us and could easy accommodate more people. The kitchen was well equipped with everything you would need as well as an outdoor bbq and great seating. The three of us enjoyed returning to the villa after trips and relaxing round the pool each day. Would certainly recommend for anyone wanting to visit Malaga or the nearby areas and for those looking for a quiet getaway. We would write even more positive feedback if this section did not have a word limit!

I honestly can’t recommend enough! The most beautiful setting with everything you could possibly need. Beautifully decorated throughout. The most wonderful breakfast delivered every morning. The best hosts you could ask for. I can’t wait to book and come back! Xxx

It was a delight staying there. Lots of space and light. Very peaceful and quiet. And of course the views! So nice to be out on the terrace. And even the view from inside the kitchen was amazing. Very big kitchen. And a very comfortable bed.

We had a wonderful time at the Airbnb of Mireille and Jose. It is about a 20min drive from Tarifa. If you are a nature lover and love animals, this is a great place. Every day we did get a visit from another animal. The cottage is not super big, but has everything you need. The shower is very nice. There is also a beautiful place with a small swimming pool where you can enjoy the view and cool off. The communication with the host was super nice. If anything comes up, you can reach them and they'll be there for you. All in all, a very nice place in the south of Spain.

What a wonderful ten days! We loved the cottage with the well equipped kitchen, the views and the outdoor space. The house has both heaters and air conditioning, but during our stay we didn’t need to use either. Really enjoyed walking up into the village and into La Janda. Tanja kindly provided fruit from her garden with some breakfast treats. Great stay!

What a great find! We had a brilliant stay - the pool terrace and location are the stand out, what a view! María was incredibly helpful and friendly, and the house was very comfortable. We are already planning our return!

We loved the appartment (views are amazing) The cottage is full of life, not so much touristic, with a great vibe. There is a big supermarked close to the appartment, few pubs. People are friendly. Higly reccomended! we would visit again this place with a pleasure :)
