A beautiful house in a great location with a wonderful view from the terrace, with a very nice natural pool, but a bit cold because of the constantly fresh water. The neighborhood is very quiet and welcoming. We were a bit unlucky because of the wildfires. So we had to leave 2 days early to be sure to get to the airport and catch our plane. Irene was very friendly and open hearted and took great care of the house and pool. We can fully recommend this villa.

Wonderful stay with Tim and Saartje, super welcoming and available hosts. The accommodation, a safe harbor in the middle of nature. I highly recommend it!

All was perfect! We were warmly welcomed. She was incredibly sweet and the communication went absolutely smoothly. The Airbnb was one of the most beautiful we've ever stayed in, thanks to the breathtaking view. Everything went beautifully. The house is everything we needed, the space around it invites you to rest and enjoy nature, and Maria do Rosário was the best host we've ever had on Airbnb. If we have the opportunity, we will certainly return!

This is one of the coolest places I’ve ever stayed. The home is in an amazing village and is so peaceful and beautiful with great views. The location is very accessible to fun hiking trails. Lousã is good to stock up on groceries. The home has good wifi and the bottle of wine the host left was such a thoughtful and pleasant surprise. We really liked sitting on the patio having food and wine and just taking in all of the surroundings. I have never been somewhere so unique. Such a special place.

The house was exactly like the photographs. From the moment of booking to check-out, D. Adelaide was an excellent host, always available and attentive. The amenities were very comfortable and every corner of the house surprised us with positive details, thought out in detail to ensure the well-being and comfort of all. The reception by D. Gloria was extremely friendly and welcoming, and the welcome cake... was simply divine! Without a doubt, an experience to repeat.

This was one of the best Airbnb experiences we have had! The place was exactly as described—spotless, beautifully decorated, and super comfortable. Everything was thoughtfully arranged, from the fully stocked kitchen to the cozy linens and soft towels. Ana was incredibly responsive and welcoming, offering great local tips and making sure everything went smoothly. The location was peaceful and quiet. I truly felt at home here and would absolutely stay again. Highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area!

My husband and I had a great stay. We were on a quiet street on the edge of town but very easy to walk for food and fun. We were fortunate to meet the hosts and they were very kind and accommodating. The house was perfect for the two of us to be comfortable and cook. We very much enjoyed our time on the edge of the Serra da Estrela national park in the beauty of Portugal.

It was just a one-night stay, but the space is very cozy, impeccably arranged and decorated. Immaculate cleanliness. The contact with Andreia was not in person only because of me due to the late arrival time and also very early departure time. Contact is always very easy and fast, whether by phone, messaging app (...) and even through the Airbnb app. An excellent place to discover the Serra da Estrela. I recommend it 100%.

We arrived in the afternoon and after visiting the surrounding village, it is not too much to congratulate on the incredible good taste and the room chosen for us. The place is incredibly welcoming and beautiful. The welcome basket was a pleasant surprise, which gave us one more reason to come back again. All perfect. I am afraid I cannot express sufficiently fairly how amazing our stay at Casa da Cruz Alta was. The house is absolutely wonderful, comfortable, cosy; the heating, the soundproofing, the equipment, the details, everything perfect! Not only did we have everything we needed as the extras and the surprises were so many that our stay couldn't have been more complete. The owners are super friendly and attentive, being obvious the taste they have in receiving well and providing a great experience. The breakfast left daily was to cry for more. Thanks so much for everything, we will certainly return!

We loved our stay at Casa do Professor. It was so quiet and peaceful. Lovely views, beautiful house inside and out. It worked well for a day trip to the Duoro wine area and another to Viseu, it was wonderful to come home to. Also nice walks in the general area (one was from the house, towards town, onto the ecopista). Lovely, quiet area full of small villages. Easy driving, groceries and restaurants nearby. We cooked a few meals and had what we needed. Having the washing machine was helpful. Comfortable beds, beautiful decor, yummy pastries delivered by Antonio's parents. Antonio was responsive and gave a lot of helpful suggestions in response to our questions. Highly recommended!

The house is great, very clean, the kitchen is equipped with everything you need. When we arrived in the fireplace, firewood was burning and the house was warm. Near the house there is a shop and cafe with wonderful locals. In the cafe we had lunch and dinner, very tasty and budget. I recommend to everyone, we will definitely come back!

The most beautiful air bnb which you won't regret booking! The garden is simply out of this world....the pool, the flowers, the large lawn area, the fresh water source straight from the mountains, the views and the tranquility were simply astonishing. The house itself is sweet and compact but has everything you need and is well thought out. We had the most perfect week here and we're already planning when we'll be back as we loved it that much- a wonderful stay in the most serene area.

Perfect house to spend a few days away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life and escape the routine. You can do your grocery shopping in the village and you don't even have to leave the house, you have everything you need to spend a good few days. Super quiet place, you can hear the stream, the birds, surrounded by nature. The house even seems to be ours, it doesn't give that rented house feeling, very comfortable, well decorated, and with all the essentials. Paula and Luís were great hosts, always in touch to give us directions on how to get there, points of interest and left us at ease to get in touch whenever necessary. Can't wait next time!
