Our weekend at this truly beautiful and magnificent location. John is a great host, really lovely and easy to chat to. We really enjoyed his stories and sharing how our stay was going. Our days were filled with beauty and magic, all the little touches made a huge difference. Sitting in the spa, wandering to the waterhole, lazing on the grounds, games by the fire and cooking dinner on the bbq. We wandered into bellingen markets and also explored viewpoints and walks. So stunning! It was absolutely the most perfect weekend away. Would love to go back! Thanks again John, many fond memories 🧡

My partner and I had a wonderful and relaxing stay here ☺️ Soaking in the hot tub surrounded by the beautiful lake views was definitely the highlight (and Rebecca made sure it was warm and ready for when we arrived which was so appreciated!) The place was clean, comfortable, well-stocked, and we loved all the cool and interesting artwork around the place! The flexible check-in was also hugely appreciated ☺️ Rebecca was very responsive and kind and gave clear easy to follow instructions Highly recommended!

Great place to relax and unwind with complete privacy! Outdoor bath is unreal to star gaze or watch the setting sun from! Plenty of space to play some lawn games, enjoy the peaceful nature outlook and even have a dip in the creek! Comfortable unit with full kitchen which I always appreciate! Beautiful little getaway! Loved having a quiet night with the spa and the rain! The hospitality was super friendly and accommodating. Overall such a great experience and beautiful place to stay!

Michelle and Kim are beautiful hosts and their little cottage was an amazing halfway point for our trip up to Queensland. Our son loved the animals and the it was an amazing place to just relax, enjoy some nature and get some rest before the rest of our journey. So glad we didn't stay at a hotel!

This is a beautiful sea side home in an incredible location with amazing view. The house is charming and comfortable, with warm beds and heaters for a winter stay. Thoughtful family friendly additions such as games, toys and a high chair made this stay exceptionally enjoyable.

Above and beyond. Stephen and Jude really put 110% in hosting their Airbnb. It's something you don't see often. The place was sweaky clean, which is hard to believe for a place that hosts so many pets! The attention to detail is impeccable, it's well stocked, and they provided a few treats for us and our doggo. The property is beautiful and the cabin is cosy. We spent a few days working there and had no issues with internet, even with video calls. Thanks so much for having us!

wow! where do I start. the serenity? the amazing views? the super clean well equipped cottage? the friendly thoughtful host? we loved everything about Sam's place, from the cosy fireplace to the sun-filled deck, the well maintained walking trails, secure yard for our pooch, comfy bed, ....the goats! We are already planning to return next year.

We stayed at Aline’s place after 5 days of camping over Easter and it was just what we were looking for, peaceful, off grid, and super comfortable. The place had everything we needed, the bath outdoor was just amazing, and the creek, despite the rain, was a gorgeous spot. It was definitely an adventure for us, being transported with the tractor because the rain had risen the water level too high we couldn’t cross with the car, it was fun! 😀 something to remember for sure. Aline was super responsive and the direction to get there were super easy, and both her and Eppie were such a lovely host, always insuring we had what we needed. If you are looking for a peaceful and relaxing place for your next trip, we really recommend this, because even though it almost rained the whole time, this place has still so much to offer. The cottage is very cute and cosy. The host clearly loves her garden which makes a lovely outlook, and the neighbourhood is very quiet. It’s a short drive to all the beaches in Valla and the two cafes. The kitchen was well equipped and the bathroom clean. The bed was very comfortable and the linen fresh and crisp. The house is full of little friendly touches which add personality. It was a great base for visiting family who live nearby and enjoying the beautiful beaches of Valla. A very pleasant place to stay.

It was the little touches that stood out for us…the welcome chocolates, the fire place laid - ready to light and the essentials available - salt, pepper, oil, coffee, milk etc.

A great cottage that is super close to town and within easy walking distance to shops and beach. Front verandah is great for a morning coffee and to watch the town go about its day. The double garage was very handy for storing away the car and all the fishing gear etc.. Hope to be back soon.

This cute, original beach cottage is close to everything and has a casual holiday vibe. It reminded me of my grandparents' holiday house, down to the eclectic furniture. It had everything you need, and it was simple and comfortable. We met the lovely owner, who was understanding as we struggled to get everything packed up after a flash rain storm. Looking forward to our next stay.

It is often hard to find dog friendly places that arent run down, especially in this area. Bonnydoon was a very pleasant exception to this. A really comfortable week, new kitchen amenities and great yard for the dogs.

Where do I even begin! My partner and I had the most magical experience! we are both so grateful to Peret for his very welcoming hospitality and going over and beyond for us during our stay. We truly felt right at home as soon as we arrived. This gorgeous cute school house had filled our hearts with its charming character! so much thought and love has gone into this place, so many beautiful little details! everything from the vintage cups, beautiful large towels, extremely comfortable bed with good quality linen just made it feel extra special. The grounds of the property is absolutely beautiful, especially in the early morning. we enjoyed hearing all the birds on the verandah in the comfortable cosy chairs. the place is in the beautiful promised lands with the stunning Never Never River only 5mins down the road. It's only 15mins into the main town of Bellingen where they have lots of lovely restaurants. It's perfect for people looking for a reset retreat! We will be back! thx Peret!

Me and my partner staying at Beth’s place for our holidays and it is so relaxing. Beth helps us with finding the place as we arrive so late and explain everything we need to know about the place. So clean and breathtaking view. The place is so near to the Dorrigo National Park. Like 10 minutes drive and also close to the cafe. We go to Components Cafe , the food is so nice and great cafe. I will come back for sure. Thank you Beth for your hospitality. 🥰❤️

A great place to stay. Great bed and shower. So close to great food places and both beaches. And so quiet even though it is in the centre of town. We had a great time.

We absolutely loved staying at this cabin! The cabin was spacious, airy and well decorated. The location was amazing and the nature was beautiful. Sharon and her husband Bill were really helpful and kind. I’d definitely recommend staying here.
