A great price, great location, great communication and very clean! With a secure place to park our car and a walk away from the ocean for our morning meditation. We would definitely stay here again.

Louise was amazing and very accommodating. The supplied bikes where more than enough to get around the island. Louise is a person I would share drinks with.

Diana and Crystal were the best hostesses we could have asked for, and their place was stunning. The courtyard is beautiful and feels like a private botanical park, and the treehouse was everything we could have wanted and then some. Loved the outdoor shower with great water pressure and hot water, the bed was extremely comfortable (a welcome change from elsewhere in Belize), and Diana's hospitality was unmatched. She knows the best spots to eat and was very helpful in making our stay memorable. We were able to walk to the house from the Water taxi in 10-15 minutes (if you are not comfortable with tiny backroads, take Diana's advice and get a taxi) and the walk into town is only about a mile. We would 100% stay here again.

Had a slight problem when we got there and it was taken care of and with follow up communication…I would stay again 100%

Private room, cold A/C, easy check in, nice shaded property. It is near the airport, so be advised the flights come and go around 7am and 8am everyday. Theres also construction ongoing in the area as well, so bring earplugs. Great dive shops close by, and a beer on arrival. Not too bad.

Great location walkable to restaurants and to the water taxi. Exactly as described and the pictures reflect what you get. Very nice kitchen and outdoor space. We stayed in one of the suites which was very spacious. Enjoyed our stay. Will visit again

Super easy to communicate with Wendy, she is always on the property which made communication or getting recommendations a breeze. Relatively easy to navigate the island as a whole. The villa is very clean and exactly as described. The AC and hot water work very well. There is a little tiny food spot next to this place that is great for dinner or late night snacks. We had a great time.

We loved our stay! It’s at the bottom of the island but with the provided bikes, it was a very quick journey to get to food and activities! The place felt so comfortable and clean. The decor was spectacular. The pool area was beautiful. Water was provided! We had many areas to relax. It felt very comfortable to be in the space. The property is amazing with so much attention to detail. We had a fan and AC in the room. Thank you so much for the room in your beautiful spot. The pups were so cute! Loved hearing the stories on how this place came to be! Such a friendly family!

This was our second stay at the Gabourel House, and it continues to be immaculately clean, beautifully furnished, and very comfortable. Ed and Flo were able to accomodate a last minute stay due to illness, booked right before check-in at 3pm, and we were able to quickly come and set up in comfort and ease. Highly recommend!

Wendy is an amazing host with a unique property. I recommend this location if you want something unique, private, off the beaten path, and authentic. I felt like I was living like a true Belizean here and the amenities were great. I loved the private pool and bikes available to rent which, you’ll definitely need if you go to the north island. I definitely felt the go slow go slow vibes here. If I come back I’m staying here. San Pedro is for people who want luxury but if you truly want to immerse yourself in the local culture and community stay here instead I’m so happy I did. If I come back to Belize I’m staying here.

A comfortable place to recover from jet lag. Beautiful old building full of history. Very receptive and helpful hosts. Cleaner visited daily. Close to the dock but otherwise not alot happening in the local area.

We had two different rooms, everything was clean, the facility is great, the pool refreshing. You have various places to stay. The offer of the free bikes is perfect. Sarah and her family were always available for a quick conversation. Overall, a great stop on our trip!

Loved my stay! I was traveling alone and felt very safe here, Diana and Crystal were welcoming and fantastic hostesses. They’re very friendly and provided great advice and instructions for the area. The room was lovely, nestled in the top of their trees as pictured with a great variety of birds that were fun and relaxing to watch. The room was as pictured, you may see a gecko or an ant but that’s to be expected in this location. Thank you very much Diana and Crystal for sharing your beautiful space!

My stay at Samantha's Place was one to remember. I enjoyed the view, the sea breeze and the environment. It was worth it.

Such an amazing stay! Host was super responsive and the workers were amazing. I 100% recommend this beautiful and amazing beach house. Surroundings were perfect and the house was so comfy and made us feel right at home. Will be coming back here every time I have a a large group visiting the islands. Thank you for the amazing stay!

From the very beginning, Diana was responsive. After booking, she sends a highly detailed and comprehensive message. I knew right away that as a solo female traveler, this was the place for me. Crystal, met me at checkin and provided a recommendation for my first dinner. Caribbean Villas became a frequent spot for me. All of Diana’s recommendations were spot on and I even got a massage on the top deck at sunset. It was exactly the healing and restorative trip I needed. I’m already thinking about when I will return because Belize has captured my heart.

It was in a very convenient location for us, close to lots of different restaurants, nightlife and the airstrip.Luis picked us up vip style and Greg was there with paper work and surprised us with snacks and champagne for our wedding anniversary. It was super thoughtful of them. All the art work is phenomenal and they literally have everything you would think to need in the house. Everything about the house was fun, we became spoiled with having Alexa, a fancy toilet with bidet and dryer and a nice hot tub. The garden in the back is cute too and very comfy. Luis takes pride in his garden and keeps it tip top shape. It’s so zen back there. The bed is like a cloud and we struggled to wake up from its comfiness. Water and ice was available, stove top to cook although we mainly used the toaster oven. Seasonings, coffee, you name it. Wish we could have stayed longer. Thank you both for creating such a cute homey space, we can see the love that went into it. Really a one a kind spot.
