Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Bejuco

The location would have been difficult to find so Johann met us in Parrita and we were able to follow him, so arrival at the right location was uneventful. We found Johann and Elke to be great hosts as they respected our privacy yet were always available anytime we wanted to contact them. They were more than willing to answer any questions, provide us with everything we needed for our stay. In addition, the sofa upon arrival was broken and once Johann was informed he went out the following day and purchased a new one for us as well as providing us with a brand new microwave. The pool was great, scenery was awesome. We found it to be a peaceful, relaxing surrounding.

Andria’s jungle home truly exceeded all expectations.Between the main house and the casitas it was a perfect set up for the seven of us. They had all the amenities needed , thought of everything. Chris was super helpful in planning any excursions and recommending restaurants etc. The were tons of capuchin and spider monkey jumping around the trees everyday. The cute little agoutis were cruising around every day too. Also be expected to be visited by some very sweet neighborhood pups. All in all it was an awesome trip and I can’t wait to return the Jungle Glory Home!!

We had a lovely time. Andres was very kind and responsive. We loved the private pool and being right on the beach. We enjoyed the sunsets and the daily visits from the monkeys passing by!

Absolutely wonderful! I cannot describe how beautiful the place was. Concierge was wonderful, extremely attentive and responsive. Group of 7 stayed and had lots of space. The pool was definitely our favorite part. House had everything we needed from spices to extra towels to air fryers. 10/10

I had a great stay at William’s place! The house was exactly as described—clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with everything we needed. The location was perfect and allowed us to relax and enjoy our time. William was also very responsive and friendly, which made the experience even better. I’m completely satisfied and would definitely recommend this accommodation to anyone looking for a great stay!

This place was absolutely amazing and beautiful! The house with the open layout was perfect, the pool and the waterfall right out back was perfect, and then 20 steps to the beach. It’s not a tourist area at all so it’s pretty much a private beach. Israel, the caretaker was absolutely incredible! He was so nice and kind and helpful. He responded to anything that we needed. If you need something, ask him, he is the man. If you are going to do a mangrove boat tour, don’t book elsewhere, look no farther. Israel has the boat 10 steps from the driveway. He took eight of us on an amazing mangrove boat tour and saw monkeys and crocodiles and the mangroves. He is so good with kids! He just wants the kids to have a good time. We really appreciated him and enjoyed hanging out with him. Do you want to ride horses on the beach? No problem, he’ll have horses out back whenever you want them! And everything he set up for us, we felt was pretty reasonably priced. Thank you for an amazing week!!!

We had an amazing time at this beautiful home tucked into the jungle. The setting is very serene, with the sound of the river always in the background and the plethora of wildlife all around. The bed was very comfy, so a good nights rest was practically guaranteed. There are a few things I would note for anyone considering the home, especially if this is your first visit to the area. It is a 10+ minute rocky drive to the home off the main road, not a big deal with a sturdy car. Especially during rainy season, there’s a good chance you’ll lose power at some point, but seems to be restored quickly. Most places, including this home, discouraged you from flushing toilet paper, an adjustment from home. Being that this place is so small, there’s not a ton of privacy between the bathroom and bedroom, and the living area is not meant for lounging. That’s what the outdoor spaces are for! This was an experience unlike any other we’ve had in our previous visits to CR, I highly recommend it!

I just want to start off and say that this is the best house that I’ve ever booked a vacation at the people that owned The house are literally amazing and so helpful. The location is so beautiful. Everything is so clean and organized. The air conditioner works amazing Too with the heat they literally booked all of our excursions and picked us up from the house Was always so patient with us and literally made our trip so amazing I will definitely come back worth every penny I had the best birthday ever and the views and the pool was so amazing 100000/10 recommend this house to anyone looking To come to Costa Rica !!!!😍

We were greeted by David and Penelope upon arrival with a warm welcome. We stayed on the ground level in the 2 bedroom suite with our own kitchenette however we received two wonderful meals per day with request. Our hosts were wonderful, informative, and accommodating arranging for a monkey tour through the Mangroves by boat and informed us of the tortuga release just down the beach from where we were staying so we could take the easy 5 minute walk to watch the release. Oh, speaking of the beach, it was amazing to have such an amazing expanse to walk wash day. We couldn't be more happy with our decision to stay with David and Penelope. Looking forward to our next stay with them.

El lugar fue muy bonito, seguro, limpio y tranquilo. Excelente lugar para vacacional con la familia. Además había un excelente clima y las personas muy atentas y amables. Lo felicito. Con gusto volveríamos.

Beautiful house, beautiful view and the most beautiful sunsets I have ever seen. The groundskeepers (I’m not sure if that’s what the correct title is) were so wonderful - they live right next door and brought us fresh coconuts, and made sure we had everything we needed! Very kind people! The host is incredibly helpful and responsive as well! My one suggestion is (since this is a duplex), if you are hoping for privacy, request to book both sides, as the pool, balcony and rooftop are all shared spaces! Luckily, we had great neighbors! This place is in a great area too, we enjoyed the quiet beach, close by restaurants and there is also an urgent care, pharmacy and some cute little shops close by!

Beautiful home. Great amenities. we loved how peaceful and connected to wildlife and nature. We had a mama humming bird with her nest right outside our window. Lots of birds and other wildlife.

I stayed here for my birthday and graduation and Melissa the co- host, did such a good job, my friend and her planned a surprise birthday decor for me and I saw it once I finally arrived. It was beautiful. She communicated so well and did such an amazing job. Thank you so much Melissa. Also- the place was SOOOO clean and nice. It was such a beautiful stay. I would stay here again 10/10

Nos encantó quedarnos en este Airbnb en Playa Hermosa. La ubicación es ideal, muy tranquila y segura, perfecta para descansar sin preocupaciones. La casa es lindísima y estaba súper bien equipada, no le faltaba nada. Además, tenían una guía con recomendaciones de la zona que nos vino genial para saber qué hacer y a dónde ir. Todo fue muy cómodo y se notaba que los anfitriones piensan en cada detalle. Sin duda volveríamos. ¡Gracias por todo!

Our stay in the bamboo and glass house, Casa Rumi, was delightful. You can tell the hosts have put in a lot of effort to help their guests feel at peace and among nature. We saw toucans, macaws, morphos, and grasshoppers. Two cats greeted us each morning and sometimes visited at night. We experienced the sound healing ceremony, which was a relaxing way to end our stay in Costa Rica. You will need a 4x4 vehicle to make the drive up the hill, but it is more than doable and you will get used to it. Playa Hermosa is as the name suggests and Jaco is right around the corner, with Manuel Antonio National Park 1.5 hours further south. Highly recommend!

La estacia es igual a las fotos, tomar en cuenta llevar mucho repelente y que no hay red celular. El wifi solo abarca la zona del comedor y del primer contenedor. La playa es super privada, se ven lapas y ardillas a todas horas y la calle es de lastre pero entra cualquier carro. Super mercados a 20 min de distancia por lo cual es mejor llevar todo lo necesario antes de entrar. Doña Margarita siempre esta pendiente y Don Jesus que es el encargado es una belleza de persona.

This is a fantastic place to stay. It really is two hectares all to yourself, and the surroundings are even more peaceful than the listing describes. The creek at the bottom of the property is delightfully fresh to swim in. But, what makes this an even better place to stay is the fact that it has everything you need - from beer glasses chilled in the freezer, to plenty of towels, and a great host. Honestly, this is one of the better Airbnb's you can stay at, simply because the host has thought of details that their guests would like. It's not luxury, but it is a perfect home environment, and one me and my family will be returning to.

Beautiful and rustic, as close to local living as you can get with some comforts. It has everything you would need, but not for those who want luxury. if you like to glamp and can be OK with some visitors, this is an easy, charming place to stay. We had a cute frog in the bathroom (and don't leave food out), you will enjoy this lovely place.
