Wow we loved this place so so much! Firstly it was within the most peaceful setting you could imagine. Sitting out in the garden was so serene, and the wood fired hot tub was a fun bonus! Inside was immaculate, so cosy and homely! Absolutely everything you might think you need was supplied! The upstairs bedroom/bathroom was dreamy! Surrounded by lovely walks (the coastal footpath was only 5 minutes walk away) and close by to some gorgeous Devonshire villages/towns, I genuinely couldn’t fault this property! Hopefully we will be back soon! ☺️

As a group of four we had an excellent stay at Briardene. The cottage had plenty of space and was extremely well equipped and very clean and stylish. The hot tub was lovely and the quiet nights enabled a good night's sleep. There were two parking spaces which was great as the village is small with narrow roads. The village pub was warm and welcoming and the food was great. I wouldn't hesitate to stay again.

Beautiful cottage with cosy but striking decor, really comfortable and cosy. Perfect for the six of us. Kitchen had everything we needed to prep a roast and the garden was small but perfectly formed. The local pub was a stones throw through a pretty village, with a really delicious menu. Only downside was no local shop for a pint of milk, loaf or emergency crisps. But I guess that may be tricky to sustain in second home areas. All in all a really comfortable cottage - thank you x

It’s a beautiful, very private accommodation with incredible views over the countryside. We loved our stay, especially the hot tub, and would definitely return. The hosts were absolutely brilliant too.

Lower Marsh Farm is brilliant. Wonderful location, excellent facilities, peaceful and calm. Due to the rural location, you do need a car to get there and navigate the area. Olivia the host is incredibly attentive, the instructions for getting there are clear, the optional services are excellent, and the setting is idyllic. We visited with two young children who were captivated by the wildlife and farm animals. Enjoy!

Had a lovely few days away. Chris' cottage is very peaceful and had amazing views whilst relaxing in the garden. The cottage itself is very clean and homely. We would definitely return and recommend to anyone looking to come to Devon.

Thank you for a lovely stay. Lovely accomodation in a beautiful, peaceful setting. We enjoyed walks around the farm and we were joined by one of the hosts dogs a couple of times which we loved. We even managed to see an otter down at the river on our first night! Bird and hedgehog watching from the hot tub with a glass of bubbly… bliss.

We had a wonderful time at this peaceful countryside cottage. The setting was tranquil and relaxing—perfect for a quiet getaway. Katie was a fantastic host—very welcoming and thoughtful. She even popped in to check that everything was okay and assured us we could reach out if we needed anything. Highly recommended for anyone looking to unwind in a calm and cozy environment!

The beautiful, fully-equipped cottage is like a home from home. At no point did we say ‘I wish it had a…’. The location is amazing with views down through the beautiful garden to the sea and over the surrounding countryside with direct access, through the garden gate, to the coastal path and all that it offers. The only sounds are the sea and birdsong; fabulous!

We’ve stayed here a few times now and feel very much at home! A great locations, some fabulous walks to Bridford where you will find the Bridford Inn, which is very friendly and welcoming.

This is a lovely cottage in the heart of Kingsbridge and provides a great base for exploring the local area. The biggest bonus being it has it's own parking space - a rare thing in the centre of the town. The cottage was very clean, comfortable beds & suitably equipped for our 4-night stay. It's only a 3-minute walk into the centre of town which has a good selection of coffee shops, restaurants and local independent shops. It is also very close to the bus station and as we were walking a section of the SW Coastpath from Bantham around to Brixham, there is an excellent service out to Thurlestone, Salcombe & Dartmouth and most places in between, making it very easy to plan day walks. We would certainly look to stay here again if we find ourselves in this area in the future.

Fabulous views. Ideal location to walk to beaches, whilst the water taxi was an easy cheap and fun way to land in the centre of the Plymouth Barbican. Both pubs great were great, The Bridge was a nice restaurant for a Saturday night treat. Also had breakfast and lunch at The Guardsman both good and all within a few minutes walk of the cottage.

What a treat! We had a 4 night stay in this beautiful house where every last detail has been thought about to add to your enjoyment and comfort. Everything was first class, very comfortable beds and pillows, spotless bathrooms with proper size towels, plenty of good cutlery and tableware, utensils for cooking if you wanted to cook. The house was a delight with lovely deep sofas overlooking one of the balconies to the ever changing landscape of the waters beyond. It would be hard not to enjoy whatever the weather throws at you! Had a lovely stay. Very clean and had everything you needed. Very quiet secluded location. Near to the beach with a 15-20 minute walk. Only downside you do have to drive a while to be near things to do so unfortunately a little too remote for us and my 8 year old son. If you want quiet chilled location then it’s great!

Wanted to come back as soon as we left! The cottage and its surrounding areas are absolutely stunning. Perfect for a relaxing getaway and a change of scenery. We were given a lovely recommendation for the Rugglestone Inn which we absolutely loved! Easy access to the moor and nearby village of Widecombe. The cottage is fully equipped with everything we could ever need. Not to mention its log fire which brought the whole place together as well as its comfy bed! We will be returning at some point in the near future! Can’t get enough of the place!

Highly recommend this lovely cottage, great location, so lovely and clean, had all we needed to have a very comfortable week. Used buses and trains to get around so no stress of finding somewhere to park! Visited Dawlish/Teignmouth/Torquay and Brixton, thank you Sarah for allowing us to stay we had a lovely time xx

Great place to stay if you want peace and quiet.

We had a fantastic stay, with our 3 children, in this lovely cottage. It is a beautiful part of the country and the sea views from the garden & balcony are stunning. Steph messaged us beforehand with details of local events and was responsive to messages. The cottage was well equipped for a family, with a stair gate and highchair. Would highly recommend, we’d love to return!

What a wonderful host Gill is and such a beautiful and immaculate cottage the Milking Parlour is. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen had everything we needed and the outdoor space was perfect for the dog. We only stayed two nights but could have comfortably stayed longer. Fantastic stay x

We had a wonderful few days with our children. We thoroughly enjoyed the peaceful accommodation, beautifully situated in the countryside from where we explored Dartmoor, the beaches of Devon and great towns such as Dartmouth. We had a very pleasant time and are delighted to have been able to stay with Kirsten.

We had a lovely stay here. The area is quiet and peaceful. A beautiful place to stay in if you want tranquility and nature around you. There are a few beautiful beaches close by - we enjoyed especially a walk on the coast at Hallsands.

Lovely property. Full of character, lovely gardens. Close walk to the church and 2 pubs. Helen’s communication was great, easy and straight forward check in. Would book again
