Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Beechworth

It was such a perfect little spot, nestled into the bush with lots of space to roam… but close enough to Bright to gather the essentials. And right on the doorstep of Mount Buffalo National Park!

We had a lovely family weekend at Willy Wagtails. It is a beautiful, light filled home in a peaceful setting. The large open living/dining/kitchen was perfect for evenings together. We loved the open fire! The house was very clean and very comfortable and had everything we needed. Linda was a great communicator. Thank you.

Couldn’t have asked for a better home for my stay in Wodonga. Beautiful house and location. The house is spotless and everything is clean, including the bathrooms, kitchen, towels and bed linen. The views at the property are amazing, especially during sunset. Jack was very friendly and provided helpful and clear instructions. Check in was a breeze. Highly recommend this place! Would definitely stay here again when I’m in Wodonga.

We stayed two nights here and were very comfortable. The kitchen is well set up to stay in and cook if desired. Three comfortable bedrooms all with queen size beds made it perfect for 3 couples. Walking distance to town. We would happily stay here again , great place. Cliff, Bendigo Victoria

A great little place. Spotless and a great feel with a very private tidy back outside area and cosy and warm inside. Not at any point did we feel the need to dine out at night we just loved staying home having a quiet time and a wine while cooking.

We loved our stay here. The house was extremely comfortable and we felt right at home with all the thoughful amentities and comfortable inclusions. The location was super connected to downtown Bright and made early morning dog walks, evening pub jaunts and getting adventurous with an infant super enjoyable and easy.

Stunning house with spectacular views… lovely place to stay with easy access to the mountain. Perfect for skiing with a great drying room & warm fireplace to come home to at the end of the day. Highly recommend

We really enjoyed our stay at Melinda’s Airbnb. It was in a great location, easy to find and access, the fire was alight when we arrived and the space was very warm and welcoming. We really enjoyed the decor and found the space clean and tidy. We had a slight mishap with the shower which has a narrow entry. We would recommend bringing your own pillows (we unfortunately forgot ours). The yard is great for leashed toilet walks for dogs. We were mindful that we could hear people on the other side of the adjoining door which is just something to note but wasn’t particularly intrusive. Overall, would recommend and we would stay again. Melinda was a great host.

Absolutely loved my stay here. Such a beautiful space and right in the centre of town. Close to lots of places to eat and shops plus just a short drive to many of the local wineries. Will definitely stay here again!

Lovely place with great beds, living spaces, bathrooms and amenities. Amazing location with coffee, pubs and supermarkets and the river all within 100m. Addye was responsive, accommodating and friendly host! Would happily stay again and recommend to others!

We stayed for a cold and wet Kings Birthday weekend in June. The woodheater kept the cottage very warm and it was a comfortable place to spend time when not out in the weather The views of the lake and surrounding areas from the cottage were spectacular. Michael was a great host. He welcomed us on the first night and we saw him again a couple of days later, when he was walking on the farm. He set us up with firewood for the weekend and told us where we could get more if we ran out. It was. really nice, quiet place to spend the weekend. Highly recommended. Steve, Stacey and Lewis

We had a fantastic stay at Peak 202 over Easter for a family wedding—John was a wonderful host and the apartment was perfect. Just steps from the village and Chamois ski run, the location couldn’t be better. The views from the floor-to-ceiling windows were stunning, and the space was warm, welcoming, and well-equipped. Our family felt completely at home with three spacious bedrooms, a spa bath, drying room, full laundry, and a great kitchen with everything from a Nespresso machine to a dishwasher. The gas fireplace, Smart TVs, free WiFi, and heated balcony with BBQ made it extra cozy and convenient. Keyless entry and thoughtful extras like games and a secure parking space really stood out. Everything was spotless, stylish, and designed with comfort in mind. Thanks, John, for a memorable and seamless stay—we’ll definitely return to Peak 202!

Such a great place to stay during our trip to Mount Buller — only about half an hour away, with groceries conveniently nearby. We really enjoyed the amenities provided, including the BBQ, Netflix, DVD players, and the comfortable rooms that made for a relaxing stay. Would definitely recommend!

Enjoyed our stay! The house was beautiful with amazing views. A short walk to the town which was beautiful as we got to take in the scenery. Will definitely be staying again!

Have stayed here before and we were extremely happy, will be returning! Located on a private property with a great walk behind the villa. Very private, didn't see the host or other guests even though they were around. Check in/out was easy. The place was very well designed and fitted out. Personal touches like a gift voucher to a local restaurant and thoughtful ammenities topped off a great facility and location. Highly recommended.

It’s the second time we have stayed here, we loved it so much the first time! It’s peaceful, relaxing, cosy, has everything you need and close to everything you want. Host is helpful and responds promptly. Not sure we’d stay anywhere else☺️

We had the most wonderful stay. Everything was just perfect we had 8 people staying over the weekend and it still felt like so much space for everyone. The place its self is just out of town, and it's very peaceful but close enough to be in town in minutes or only a short ride away. The views from the house were stunning and the house its self had everything we needed for a fantastic weekend away. I could not recommend this place more, I think we will be back again for sure, Thanks for having us!

The views from the villa were truly stunning, especially at sunrise and sunset — a perfect backdrop to unwind. It felt private, peaceful, and connected to nature while still being just a short drive into town. The hosts were welcoming, responsive, and made sure everything ran smoothly. I appreciated the attention to detail — from the high-quality linens to the well-equipped kitchen and cozy touches throughout.
