I loved my stay here. Melissa and her children (and pets) were very welcoming and friendly. The chalet was larger than I had expected, the neighbourhood was very nice and quiet, and Melissa was an excellent hostess.

What a lovely stay we had at Shenley Lodge while attending 4 days of the British Grand Prix. I cant say enough about how helpful Katarina was from the moment we - sleepily - stepped out of the taxi after a redeye from Heathrow. We were fortunate to be able to check in early, and we immediately felt right at home. We were so lucky to experience Katarina’s thoughtful kindness - homemade soup, starting us out with bottles of water, and even fitting us in for extra services like a massage right on site. Oh, and i cant forget thr wonderful reataurant suggestions! The surroundings and neighborhood are absolutely gorgeous and quaint. You will want to go for a walk or catch a ride on a Lime scooter to explore - we had SO much fun ‘scooting’ around. We made breakfast each morning in the unit and picked up basics at the Tesco a couple blocks away. Very simple to walk. All in all I would love to stay again! Thank you Katarina for our lovely stay!

Really lovely place to stay and Jess was a very friendly and proactive host! Slightly tricky to find but Jess was really helpful with giving what3words coordinates and sharing maps.

Just about the best Airbnb we’ve ever stayed in. Delightful place with a very private and spacious dog secure space. Wonderfully equipped and stocked. Emma is next door but gave us our privacy although she was right there with any minor query.

Lovely faultless experience. Spotlessly clean, comfortable furniture. Big TV, well equipped kitchen. Loaf of bread, milk, butter and jams provided and even a box of After Eights. Sadly I had brought everything as I didn’t expect these to be provided but a lovely touch. Off street parking in a quiet sleepy village. Can highly recommend.

Very peaceful, pretty barn. James and his wife were extremely friendly. When I had a power cut James sorted it immediately. By the time I left I felt we had become friends because of how relaxed and friendly they and their children were.

We met Samuel soon after we arrived. He is very friendly and very helpful when we needed a few things. The accommodation was perfect for us to have a bit of peace & quiet in-between a Christening and 2 weeks of grandchild care!! I did a lovely walk round some country lanes & through some fields. The local village is very pretty. There are loads of maps & books in the property to look through for more ideas of where to walk. In the garden is a little BBQ, which had a small bag of coal ready to cook with. Such a lovely touch & with the amazing weather, it was definitely the way to enjoy a few lovely evenings!

We had a lovely 2 night stay and liked it so much we have already booked to come back this year. It is comfortable, spacious for just 2 and a very peaceful place. We really liked being able to sit outside enjoying the birdsong.

Well if you want to stay in a really unusual AirB and B there is a wonderful place in Leighton Buzzard in Bedfordshire. Literally 5 minutes from the train station and a bus stop right outside the front door. Also less than 10 minutes from the town centre. I would highly recommend this Cosy Annex bedsiit, large bedroom with T.V. fully fitted kitchen, bathroom with towels and patio doors that open onto a courtyard garden. I parked my car right outside the front door, the owner sorted out the car permit for me. I stayed here for 3 weeks in between moving into my flat. We had the best time, the pool is amazing!! The time slots were ideal and work really well- great pool for adults and children. Beautiful cottage, lovely gardens-we felt so at home, nothing was too much trouble for Bridget. The children have now also found a new love for tennis! We def hope to return … 10 out of 10 from us!!

Great stay…nice and quiet

We had a great stay at Foxton House. We were fortunate to have very good weather and the kids pretty much lived in the pool. The cottage itself has been renovated very nicely, is well equipped and is very homely. It’s a great location for visiting Cambridge and the surrounding area

really enjoyed the beautiful location great for dog owners great access to bridal ways and walking distance to local pub and cafe in the village. The cottage was great, very comfortable. Clean. I would definitely return.

Had a lovely weekend stay. Dogs enjoyed the biscuits, very helpful with extra towels for cleaning their feet. Loved the apartment. Reminded me of my loft at parents house. Little treats. Immaculately clean with a very comfortable bed and lovely bedlinen. The kitchen had everything that was needed. In fact the whole place was thoughtfully equipped - nice for example to have holders for toiletries in the shower, often missing! Easy access to Cambridge. A great place to stay.

Perfect place for our overnight stay. Lindsay welcomed us with perfect balance between being informative/helpful without being intrusive. We felt at home straight away. The place was spotless and beds very clean and comfortable. The beer to chill on the balcony in the evening and coffee bags to help me wake up for our early start in the morning were all welcome. Would stay again if in the area.

We had such a lovely stay at this charming cottage! From the moment we arrived, it felt like a home away from home—warm, welcoming, and beautifully maintained. The space was incredibly cosy, perfect for relaxing after a day out exploring. The location was ideal, we booked for easy access to Santa Pod Raceway. It peaceful yet close to everything we needed. Jacqui was a great host - friendly and thoughtful, came out to meet us when we arrived. Everything was perfect. We truly appreciated the little touches, milk and bread, along with biscuits and jam! Highly recommend this gem of a place—can’t wait to come back!

We had such a wonderful and memorable stay at Claire's place on our first holiday with our newborn! The accommodation itself was perfect, with the most beautiful views across the lake, grounds and woodland. We saw so much wildlife just from the living room couch! So many muntjak deer, birds, rabbits etc. Such an idyllic and peaceful setting for a relaxing staycation. The woodlands and are so lovely for walks, it feels like you're in the middle of nowhere even though the nearest town is just a few mins drive away. Claire was such a responsive host. She provided very clear instructions and followed up to make sure we had everything we needed for check in. We felt very well looked after and we were so glad to meet her at the end of our stay. We will definitely be returning to The Old Plantation time and time again In the years to come I am sure :) thanks so much Claire for a fantastic stay!

We had weekend tickets for the Glenn Miller Twinwood Festival and we stayed at Dolly which was an easy drive in our 1937 MG TA which we were able to securely park off road over night. Dolly is a lovely little cottage, fully equipped and modern but still characterful. The check in and out were easy and the hosts provided lots of information in advance and at the cottage. The bed was very comfortable and the cottage was lovely and warm. We enjoyed our stay.
