We hebben geweldig genoten van de heel ruime woning. Vrij nieuw allemaal en mooi ingericht. Zo ook de plek, midden in de natuur. Veel faciliteiten om buiten te verblijven of aan het zwembad. Karen en Nigel zijn heel vriendelijke mensen en communicatie in het engels was zeer prettig. Top verblijf!

Nous avons séjourné dans ce logement quelques jours, c'est un véritable havre de paix ! Nous avons pu découvrir la Dordogne grâce aux recommandations de nos hôtes. Nous reviendrons !!

Als je voor rust en natuur op vakantie gaat dan is deze locatie "the place to be". Het is er zo stil en geen openbare straatverlichting maakt dat de nacht een beleving is om naar de sterrenhemel te kijken. De gastheer& gastvrouw zijn lieve vriendelijke gastvrije mensen die niets teveel is. Heel fijn, we voelden ons direct thuis. Ook is het erg fijn om in de Engelse taal te kunnen communiceren. Dat is in Frankrijk helemaal niet zo vanzelfsprekend. We hebben genoten.

Honestly one of the most spectacular places I have ever stayed at we didn’t want to leave! Absolutely gorgeous and serene. There is a calmness to the area and everything in the house made it so easy. Our family had a magical time here and Jil was incredible. So helpful and kind. It was like visiting and staying at an old friend’s. The town was beautiful with very friendly people. Jil and Thomas have thought of everything you might need to the stereo system outside to the bbq and electric shutters for a perfect night sleep. We can’t wait to come back again and make it a tradition to stay here! 😍

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour chez Marc et Denise, qui sont de supers hôtes. Le cadre est superbe, le logement est charmant, il y a tout ce qu'il faut. N'hésitez pas à réserver leur table d'hôte, vous allez vous régaler ! C'est aussi très bien situé, vous trouverez de nombreuses escapades touristiques dans les alentours. Nous recommandons grandement leur gîte :)

Nous avons passé un très bon sejour chez Marie et Thomas. Le logement est très bien équipé, parfait pour que les enfants puissent s’amuser. La présence du potager, des poules, de l’ensemble des équipements exterieurs rendent le séjour très agréable pour les petits comme pour les grands. La piscine naturelle est une belle découverte. Marie et Thomas sont des hôtes très réactifs ce qui est agréable. Nous les remercions pour notre séjour.

Nous avons passé un séjour très agréable chez Mia. Le logement était très propre et fidèle à la description. Le cadre est apaisant et permet une totale déconnexion. Mia est une hôte très réactive. Nous reviendrons avec plaisir.

Herve was a great host from booking to during our stay. He was informative, helpful, and super friendly. His house is beautiful, in a great location within the centre of Montflanquin. Just a minutes walk uphill to the square where some amazing restaurants are. The house had everything you needed. Plenty of crockery, cutlery, condiments, washing up facilities. Brilliant open dining/living area upstairs. Stairs are very steep, but we knew this beforehand. downstairs (ground level) is really spacious, plenty of hangers,wardrobe space. bathroom has a large area to store toiletries. would highly recommend Herve and his place. This is a 5 star stay. Absolutely lovely hosts. Beautifully renovated ancient stone house inside the heart of a medieval village just dripping with charm and authenticity. Brand new fridge loads of space, kitchen is spotless and has every gadget imaginable. Well thought out space with living / dining area, bathroom with rainwater shower, washing machine, pantry all downstairs. Upstairs is another living area, another bathroom with bathtub, double sided bookshelf separates living space from lovely queen bedroom with huge stained glass window. Lots of natural light, objets d’arr, great bedding plush pillows, ample towels, lots of spices and cooking supplies. Margo and John are attendant to every and any need and are fabulous people - they know where anything you’d want to do, shop for, see, eat, experience is located and when it is open. That front patio full of plants and beauty and sunshine is amazing.Parking, shops, restaurants, narrow ancient charming streets, just stunning. 5*!!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Le Petit Cinq Ruffe. Caroline and Paul were excellent hosts and made us feel very welcome. Nothing was too much trouble. The property was lovely and met all our needs. The location was very rural and quiet; exactly what we had hoped for. The welcome included a lovely platter of local produce and delicious wine. We thoroughly enjoyed it! We would not hesitate to highly recommend this property.

The best lodging we've had on this month long trip to France. Beautifully and comfortably decorated, private but close to all the things, the best sleep I've had in years, wonderfully appointed kitchen. Heads up that there is a washer but no dryer, but we managed fine with the very large drying rack provided. Would not hesitate to recommend, I wish I had spent more of my time here.

Een idyllische ervaring Ons verblijf in Saint-Étienne was niets minder dan fantastisch. Het huis waar we verbleven, was prachtig gelegen in een rustige, landelijke omgeving. De accommodatie was vlekkeloos schoon en goed onderhouden, met alle benodigde voorzieningen voor een comfortabel en aangenaam verblijf. De communicatie met de eigenares, Natasja, was uitstekend. Ze is erg behulpzaam en responsief vanaf het eerste contact tot aan ons vertrek. Ze gaf duidelijke instructies over hoe het huis te bereiken en hoe alles te gebruiken. Natasja was altijd bereikbaar voor vragen of extra ondersteuning, waardoor we ons zeer welkom voelden tijdens ons verblijf. Kortom, onze ervaring in Saint-Étienne Villereal was fantastisch.

Lovely rustic home, as described and shown. Everything you need for a comfortable stay. A short walk into the village although a shame some of the restaurants have closed, so check if you intend to eat out, Le Chai is a lovely traditional restaurant. Brigitte is close at hand, but lets you get on with your break. Plenty of places to visit nearby, some great bastide towns.

Beautiful and spacious home in quiet village. Le Centenaire restaurant was walkable and provided good food and drink. Loved the farmhouse table in the kitchen and we spent many meals there or on the deck table. Many hot air balloons over the deck in the evenings. Kitchen was very well stocked for in home food preparation. Beds very comfortable. Very clean and well appointed.

Logement agréable dans lequel rien ne manque . Superbe vue sur la vallée de la terrasse. L'hôte est très réactif. La piscine est un petit plus en période de forte chaleur. L'accessibilité au logement est un peu compliqué mais c'est le prix à payer pour la vue et la tranquillité

This house is an absolute gem. Perfectly located for exploring Castelnaud Chateau and other local sights. The garden view is lovely and is great fun when the balloons float past! A beautiful, characterful cottage in the heart of this historic village.

Such an idyllic stay! The gîte is perfectly located amidst peaceful surroundings, you really feel like you’re in the middle of the French countryside. The garden is enormous, and was a lovely area for our little girl to run around. The pool area is very clean and looks new, located within the grounds , it’s a little walk from the gite but this is great for feeling of privacy. The gite itself is well equipped, clean, spacious and remains cool even when it’s very warm outside. A home away from home. It’s very easy to park outside the front. The local village is very picturesque with restaurants, boulangerie, mini supermarket. It’s a quick drive down, but was too far for us to walk, especially in the heat. Sarah was a fantastic host, was very easy to contact and responsive. Such a wonderful introduction to the Dordogne region for my family and I100% would recommend. Merci beaucoup pour tout, Sarah. nous avons passé une excellente semaine, hébergement amenagé avec goût et très confortable, rien ne manque et son s'y sent rapidement comme chez soi. un grand merci à Estelle pour ses gentilles attentions, à Jean baptiste pour son accueil. Estelle est très accueillante, la communication est très facile avec elle ce qui est très agréable de nos jours. nous avons apprécié d'être accueilli par nos hôtes. havre de paix et de tranquillité nous recommandons vivement le petit logis et comptons bien y revenir.

A wonderful and perfect location to explore the Dordogne. Made even more special by the attention to detail, and lovely personal touches, by the best of hosts Thierry. The story of his thoughtful restoration of the accommodation added to our pleasure. Thierry made us feel very at home. We are sat in the airport and already planning a return. Enchanté Thierry.

Wow, what an enjoyable stay! It’s described as Magique and it truly is a beautiful location. Lovely views of the river, hills, and hot air balloons. Leave room in your itinerary to just sit on the balcony and enjoy a cup of coffee or a glass of local wine. My group enjoyed meals prepared in the well-equipped kitchen and the nice gas grill. There’s a nice bakery right down the hill that you can walk to in the morning. Lots of activities in the area (canoeing down the river, biking, visiting historic sites). We have stayed in many houses and this was our favorite by far. My only hesitation in writing a glowing review is that it may be harder for me to book in the future. The hosts are responsive and welcome you on your arrival and have some tips for the area. Thank you so much Sandrine for a wonderful stay!

Magnifique propriété au coeur de la campagne, propre, bien équipée et chaleureuse. Piscine et jacuzzi à disposition. Lieu parfait pour déconnecter le temps d'un weekend ou plus. Nous en avons également profité pour faire une balade à cheval. Marine a été accueillante, disponible et discrète. Nous avons adoré notre séjour et reviendrons avec grand plaisir !
