Peaceful oasis! We absolutely adored our stay here. It was remote but surrounded by beautiful towns and villages to explore. The place itself was perfect for what we needed and just spending time outside in nature/farms. The pool and hot tub were exceptional. It was so quiet we felt we were fully alone and could fully switch off. There was everything you needed kitchen and bbq etc. Would love to come back.

Great stay! The hosts are very nice and welcoming. The accommodation is clean, comfortable and well equipped, exactly as described. Very well located, with several nice cities nearby for visits.

A wonderful place to stay, surrounded by nature and animals. Very clean and welcoming, and Dominique went over and above to allow us to check in early. Would highly recommend.

We were greeted by Lucille , who spoke perfect English and Monsieur . We were shown all about the house, how to operate the jacuzzi and given excellent recommendations for the area. The booklet was invaluable particularly for village market days. The house is so attractively deco and so comfortable with everything you need to make your stay troubles free and relaxing. As we are from Australia we loved cooking outside on the BBQ. Being supplied with wraps for the jacuzzi was much appreciated as was the jacuzzi after climbing lots of steps visiting the castles. Our hosts all came to farewell us which was a lovely friendly touch. We thank you all for your lovely home and generous spirit of welcome. This is an excellent Perigord base and we strongly recommend it.

We were welcomed by Didier one night. It was warm and thoughtful because he bought us a “survival kit” for breakfast and recommended us the exceptional places to visit…this area is a real favorite. The cottage is great, you feel at home very quickly with the spacious living room and its superb fireplace, the comfortable bedding, as well as the hot tub that served every day. The outside is amazing, it's in the middle of the quiet greenery, where crickets accompany our days and evenings. The cottage is equipped for children…toys, books, bikes, swings and slides. A stone's throw from the Château de Bonaguil, it's easy to enjoy one of the most beautiful castles in the area as well as the restaurant downstairs. Didier, thank you so much for this week, it was perfect!

we stayed for a week in April with the three of us. We were the only guests but had a wonderfully quiet week. The house was beautiful, modern, robust with everything we needed.

A fantastic week away in a beautiful property within stunning surroundings. Had a very relaxing break and loved the pool, hot tub and sauna. Our young adult son made the most of the gym and we enjoyed a couple of hikes and bike rides in the idyllic countryside. The house is truly wonderful and Paul is a fabulous host who is very responsive. Look forward to returning some time soon.

Caroline and Gilles are very warm and friendly hosts who were immediately available for questions. The listing is as described in the photos. It is a truly exceptional, very large apartment. The living room (formerly the station hall) resembles a museum, Caroline and Gilles have collected old station utensils and pictures and exhibited them there. The house and garden are lovingly restored and designed, the two have invested a lot of work (and money) to turn the old train station into a wonderful accommodation. There is nothing missing in the kitchen. The center of Le Bugue is about 1 km away, via the beautiful bike path "voie verte" it is 4 km. We enjoyed the bike tours and our accommodation very much. I also enjoyed the personal contact and a little "chat" in the evening, so I could once again use my "rusty" French skills. Thank you for everything!

Very nice quiet house with two large bedrooms. There were a few basic products missing in the kitchen (oil, salt, sugar, etc.). Note that this accommodation is located in an agricultural environment (market gardening), with the possibility of tractors being present.

This house is an absolute gem. Perfectly located for exploring Castelnaud Chateau and other local sights. The garden view is lovely and is great fun when the balloons float past! A beautiful, characterful cottage in the heart of this historic village.

Only one night spent at Martine and Jean-Michel's, but I will gladly come back if possible. The layout of the house is charming and authentic.

We had a great stay at the Maison des Tilleuls. Cécile is very welcoming and we immediately felt at home. The house is nice with a large living room, which is nice because we were 3 couples. The garden is huge and very pretty. It's a haven of peace. It is fenced, which is appreciable with dogs. Several places with tables and garden furniture. Gourmet basket on arrival. What a wonderful spot to get away! Truly beautiful views and if you like to hear the birds, this a must stay. Very quiet for sleeping. Lots of space for us to spread out in the large kitchen area and the outside covered patio. Conveniently located near Perigueux, 15 minutes to most services. Please note: There are steep stairs to the upper level and you walk through one bedroom with an ensuite bathroom to get to the third bedroom. Second bathroom on upper floor. Worked just fine for our family. Lots of lovely paths for walking. Laura and her family are lovely. Definitely recommend.

We loved our stay so much and look forward to returning. The house and extensive grounds are quite beautiful and very peaceful. Perfect in every way. Diana and her husband were perfect hosts and made us feel so welcome.

We had a wonderful weekend in this cottage. The place is really superb and exotic, the pool is very well maintained and all the amenities are present in the cottage. Viviane is adorable and responsive for any questions, I recommend for a weekend/holiday with family or friends!

We had a lovely stay at Marie and Thomas's. The accommodation is very well equipped, perfect for children to have fun. The presence of the vegetable garden, chickens, all the outdoor amenities make the stay very pleasant for young and old alike. The natural pool is a great discovery. Marie and Thomas are very responsive hosts, which is nice. We thank them for our stay.

Jenny and Marc were excellent hosts. We were made to feel very welcome and they are lovely people. The place is beautiful, the view is amazing, the gîte was very comfortable and well equipped. We had such a wonderful stay here. The house is beautiful and very well equipped with everything you could need. The house is ideally situated in the countryside yet only 5 mins away from the enchanting bastide town of Monflanquin. At night from the Dining room you have a tremendous view of Monflanquin all lit up, it’s breathtaking. The hosts are so kind and friendly, it’s so very easy to relax here. This is a holiday home to remember.

We had a fabulous stay at this beautiful Gite. The Gite was lovely and more than met the needs of the four of us. The grounds are stunning and so peaceful. We were blessed with good weather and being able to use the pool and relax in and enjoy the grounds helped make this a perfect stay. Fabi and Steve were wonderful hosts, and gave us lots of helpful information. They responded quickly to any queries we had. We highly recommend this property and hope that we will be able to visit again sometime.

We spent two beautiful evenings in the heart of "Gigi" and Yannick's property. Another very nice meeting in this little corner of Périgord that we did not know. The cottage is perfect, well-equipped, very comfortable bedding. And the setting, in the middle of the vineyards managed by Quentin today, is beautiful and so peaceful. We'll definitely come back for a longer stay. Of course we were able to enjoy the pool, a tasting of very good wines and good advice from Yannick. Great stay, thanks to our great hosts!
