Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Bayou Teche

My wife is a Harry Potter freak and I found this place for us to get away to for the weekend. First off, how have we never heard of this gem!? It’s not far from where we live and a must stay if you’re into Harry Potter. The attention to detail was amazing. My wife would point out little small things that she noticed throughout our 3 day stay. Jennifer was a fantastic host and we can’t wait to see what is in store with the double decker bus. Everything was a 10/10 and we will definitely be back.

Sehr niedliches kleines Cottage im alt eingerichteten Stil, alles sauber und ordentlich. 3 Terrassen vorhanden, die man alle nutzen kann. Im Haus ist die Einrichtung typisch amerikanisch. Bettwäsche und Handtücher sind vorhanden, können bei Bedarf auch gewaschen werden. In der Küche ist auch alles vorhanden was benötigt wird. Die "Altstadt" mit den vielen Sehenswürdigkeiten ist gut zu Fuß erreichbar. Alles in allem ein sehr tolles Haus, sehr zu empfehlen.

We just stayed for a night but loved the home. Beautiful decor inside and out. Super accessible area right off the interstate.

This was a beautiful place to stay and enjoy. The patio and deck outside was a wonderful place to relax with family and friends. The house made us feel like we were at home. Jeremy and Stephanie were wonderful hosts and responded very quickly and respectfully. We’d highly recommend staying here.

Lance’s Chateaux is perfect. He is a great host and I will stay here again in the future.

Enjoyed our stay so much! House was absolutely perfect. Peaceful, walking distance to shops and restaurants, and we loved feeding the fish and turtles! The house was fully stocked with everything we needed. Highly recommend and would definitely stay here again!

Address was off a little bit but we found it 1501 Herman Dupuis Rd Breaux Bridge, LA 70517 United States is the real address! But I did enjoy the time to celebrate my birthday ! I even went drunk fishing ! Will return for a holiday I wanna pay to rent the boat next time lol

My crew was doing a job in town and this place worked out great for us. The location was close enough to be to and from the job site quickly but also secluded enough that it was peaceful and quiet. The hosts were responsive and very helpful from us arriving late at and night and leaving a little early. This will be my first choice of houses to stay at next time we come back.

This little sudio is adorable. I was worried about the natural light, but it was so cozy. Extremely clean. Very private, but walkable neighborhood, and 15 mins walk to Breaux Bridge center. I loved the outdoor space to read and write, and even more peaceful when it rained on the tin roofs. Katie truly is a Superhost.

We had a wonderful time at Francis's AirBnB. We had everything we needed. We loved the art work, the unique books, the style of home. We felt very welcomed and taken care of. We had our toddler along with us and found some great classic children's books to read to him at bedtime. We would stay again, for sure.

This was our second stay at Annette’s place. It felt like home in the comfy, clean space with plenty of room. The full size refrigerator and washer and dryer are a bonus. We loved walking down the road to see the horses and the chickens were fun to watch. I highly recommend Annette’s place. Both she and her husband are great hosts, very personable and wonderful to talk to.

I was pleasantly surprised by how spacious and comfortable this condo was—it felt more like a home than a rental. Every room was thoughtfully decorated with stylish touches that gave the space a welcoming, modern vibe. The layout made it easy to relax, and everything was spotless and well-maintained. It truly exceeded my expectations, and I’ve already made a note to reserve it again for my next visit. Highly recommend!

We had a perfect stay! The hosts couldn't have been better. The location was out of the heavy traffic of Baton Rouge which is a bonus. We had all of the amenities we needed and the back patio was absolutely lovely. I especially enjoyed watching the hummingbirds! The neighborhood makes you feel like you are on a first class vacation and I enjoyed my walks. We have now found our "go to" spot in Baton Rouge. Our daughter is a junior at LSU and I wish I had found this place sooner. We will absolutely stay here again on our final visits for her senior year. We obviously highly recommend!

Ashley’s place was wonderful! Super quiet and safe neighborhood and the space was beautiful and clean. Ashley was very responsive and even made an extra trip to help with the mailbox. I’m so thankful for her! Thank you for an amazing stay!

Janay’s place was exactly what I needed. Walking distance to the Capitol building and to a coffee shop, as well as a nice restaurant or two. I’d highly recommend for a quick trip into town. While I didn’t need parking it was right as described right out front.

The location was perfect and ideal and was a 10 min drive from the arena. Conveniently located to stores and restaurants within walking distance. It was very easy to get in and out of. Very close to LSU activities. I believe the “longest” drive took 25 mins to the Mall, but that was mainly due to traffic. The place was very neat and tidy and had everything we needed. The complex is gated, making it feel even more safe. The building itself is very sound proof. We didn’t have any issues with other tenants living on the property. The only complaint we have, that is at no fault of Tiffany, is the road the property is located on - as it has a lot of potholes.

We enjoyed staying here for the 3 nights we were in town. It was perfect for 3 of us. Very spacious. I recommend staying here!
